I could not be happier with the service I received . Eli was fabulous . He was knowledgable, friendly and would not give up until my new water heater was installed and working properly. He is my new favorite plumber and i will continue using him whenever I need anything to do with plumbing.

Look no further for any of your plumbing needs (and tankless water heater needs too--not a lot of companies specialize in tankless) everyone at Original Westwood Plumbing is so professional and helpful! They all go out of their way to help--we've never experienced anything like it! We've used them for several fixes now and they're amazing!! If I could give 6 stars I would ;-)))

I have to echo what the majority of customers have said here. Eli runs a fraudulent business where he convinces the customer to pay for services that are covered under warranty - and then disappears. It is now my only option to go to small claims court, and I fully intend to exercise that option. STAY AWAY.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!!I don't write a lot of reviews, but the experience I had with this company is absolutely ridiculous. They don't even deserve one star. I had an appointment last Saturday from 1pm-6pm, but no one showed up and no one called. When I called them back on Tuesday, the girl who picked up the phone flat out lied that when she called my cell phone to reach me a girl ""answered"" to say that no one needs service. I knew she was lying, but I decided to reschedule to give them another chance. I had an appointment today from 9am-1pm and I just didn't want the same thing to happen again so I called them just now (11:51am) to make sure. The same girl with a very ""condescending"" tone says, ""oh, our plumber has an emergency so he probably cannot make it and I was waiting to call you to let you know. Why don't you just reschedule since I don't want to make you all day."" How ridiculous is this? And to add on top of all of that, she just called me to say, ""I don't want to deal with you and why don't you call me a liar one more time?"" She yelled and hung up the phone. Wow I am beyond speechless for their shitty customer services and lies. I'm absolutely enraged at what happened and for American Home Shield to working with such a shitty company. They need to go out of business right now and I will certainly make a formal complain to American Home Shield.

Original Westwood Plumbing is a Ripoff

On September 24, 2017 my hot water heater stopped working. I called American Home Shield, my insurance company. They assigned Original Westwood Plumbing to fix the problem. Westwood Plumbing called to make the appointment. I described the problem. They asked how old the hot water heater was. As I had just bought the house I did not know, but knew it to be old. They recommended that they do a maintenance service, which included cleaning the heater and draining it completely. The charge was to be an extra $295. Not knowing better, I agreed and gave my credit card number.

The following day I spoke to an experienced plumber who stated that draining the heater was not worth the money as draining would not do any good for an old heater. I called Original Westwood repeatedly, spoke to the office staff, and asked to speak to Eli, the plumber.

Later in the day I finally reached him, and he stated he had done the maintenance service. I was not present as I was out of town. My son was present, but he had no knowledge of the problem.

I asked Eli if he had drained the heater. He said no. I said that draining the heater was part of the job. He did not reply. I suspect he didn't drain it because it is the basement of an old house and is below grade.

When I got to the hot water heater, it was clear that no cleaning around the outside of the heater had been done.

I told Eli I did think it warranted $295, since they had not performed all of the agreed service. I estimated that it had perhaps taken them 20-30 minutes to do any work in addition to the repair AHS had already paid them to do. So I offered to settle for an extra $95, not $295. Eli just said words to the effect- 'do what you want to do.'

Oringal Westwood charged $200. I contested the bill. Original Westwood Plumbing stated to the credit card company: ""cust was present at POS giving auth for pmt after all svcs were rendered as agreed upon.""

This statement is completely false: at no time was I present, and Eli admitted not performing all services agreed upon and I did not agree to $200.

Old Westwood also stated ""CH has not contacted M for resolution."" This is also completely false: discussed the matter with Eli himself.

In short, Original Westwood Plumbing upsold an unnecessary service, did not answer me when I tried to call to discuss it and rescind the order before hand, did not perform all of the agreed service since they did not drain the heater, the lied about it to the credit card company.

I strongly urge you not to do business with this dishonest company.

Home warranty customers beware: Eli will tell you a service is not covered when, in fact, it is. He will not answer your calls or your home warranty company after improperly taking your money. My advice: if he says something isn't covered, call your company for information and get a second opinion before paying for anything yourself. Based on our experience and reading the reviews here, Eli uses your warranty service as a lead referral service and doesn't intend to honor the warranty.

I finally got my garbage disposal replaced, First American had sent a crook to my house that filed a false report and the insurance company not only denied my claim but dropped coverage. I decided to take on the insurance company and the crooked contractor. FA reinstated my coverage and send OWP to replace the garbage disposal. They were prompt and accommodating, the technician Elisha (I think that's his name) was efficient and easy to work with. Those with FA policies don't allow Presidential Drain Cleaning in your house, they are crooks! Ask for OWP.

Very unprofessional company. They were sent from my home warranty insurance claim and put a hole in my wall to see where the water leak was coming from. They then said they had to come back with a camera because they couldn't see very well, but they never called to schedule to come back. I left several messages and they finally answered 4 days later and said they don't have a camera and would have to tell the home warranty that they could not finish the job. They then changed their story and told the warranty company we needed to get someone else to cut through wood beams to give them better access. When I called the plumbers to find out why they changed their story, they hung up on me and told me to figure it out myself. So rude! No one should have to deal with these people. Luckily, the home warranty agreed with me about the unprofessionalism and will be sending out another company that has a camera to continue to figure out the problem. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Do not hire this company!

I am updating this review because I am in shock on how shady this company is. I called this morning to make a formal complaint with my insurance company. Only to find out that my claim was denied. It was denied after the technician told me to cancel my claim. Earlier I had spoken to the insurance company. She suggested I make the claim then. I did not, thinking they might retaliate if I did. I was wrong.
They denied my claim ONE WEEK after they came. Not the same day or the next. They denied it after he did not show up TWICE.
Shady is the best description of this buisness!!!
If you see that First American assigns then to you. Ask for another company. They are not to be trusted.
