Hesitate, then think"" long and hard before posting a less than stellar review -- after all you are messing with someone's livelihood. But my experience was not so great. Called for the ""Sprinkler Tune-up"" based on Louis C.'s review.

Our sprinkler system had been gone through by our general purpose gardeners within the prior month, but had two remaining adjustment issues that I thought were worth spending the money to hire an ""expert."" These were: 1) a deck that was getting very wet with overspray, and 2) a small entry courtyard where the water was not getting to all the plants. They fixed the overspray, although they water is dialed down so far, that am concerned that there is enough water getting to the lawn (fingers crossed). 2) They missed the other problem (said they were done, but their flag marker was still in place and sprinklers had not been touched). Their quick fix resulted in a dead Gardenia. Removed their workaround, and put a regular head back on, and it is back to the way it was -- which is not good, but better. Some of the problem may have been that the riser was not even screwed-in completely.

The only good thing was timing -- a pipe had broken since the other gardeners went through the system, and OC Sprinkler Repair did repair that. So at least we got something for the $424. But in digging up the break, half-killed two more bushes (an Azalea and a Star Jasmine), which I shored-up, and may or may not survive.

Very disappointing.

Great Service by Steve!
My sprinkler valve broke and an unstoppable fountain of water came gushing out. No way to stop the flood except turn off the main water line to the house. Looked up the best 5 star sprinkler repair in Irvine area.
Called OC Sprinkler and explained to the nice young lady that I had a water crisis. She called Steve who was eating dinner at BJ's Pizza in Irvine. Since he was close by after he finished his dinner he would come to my house. Steve discovered a broken plastic part in the valve. He was able to shut off the valve and turn on the main water line. He said he or one of his employees would stop by the next morning and fix the valve. Surprise - Surprise. A half- hour later Steve shows up with the kit to fix the valve. He just charged me for the service call and kit - no emergency night fee. Now is that great service? Steve went way beyond what I expected, a true professional. I would recommend Steve any time you have a sprinkler problem.

Absolutely the BEST. This guy really knows what he is doing.
I was a little far out for him but I was desperate to find someone who knew what they were doing. I was already out a lot of $$$$ and nothing worked. When all the sprinkler heads started to leak Steve's office manager, Carrie, was fantastic. She was able to keep me calm and reassured me that everything would be alright. By this time I was not sleeping at night. Shut of valve, then 3 brand new sprinkler valves, then all the sprinklers off of one of the new valves were leaking and the owner of MSR would not return. ""Not without more Money""
Next time I need something done I am calling OCSR. Thank You Steve

I am very happy with the work OC Sprinkler performed. The main shutoff valve to our sprinkler system was broken. To replace it required re-piping the connection to the water main, the house water supply and the sprinkler piping. I sent OCSR pictures, received a quote and we set a date and time.

The crew led by Junior arrived on-time. Working with him was great as we discussed the options. They set to work, placed the new shutoff exactly the way I wanted it, re-piped and put everything back together in a couple of hours, cleaning up the entire area when they finished. And the actual cost was less than the quote, so doubly pleased!

I've called in sprinkler repairs before, each time the companies would tell me something different was wrong, but each time the pressure problems came back. OC Sprinkler Repair was the first one to come in and take the time to find the root of the problem and get the sprinkler system fixed in one go. We had our pipes and system changed (for the better) and our sprinklers have never worked better! The sprinklers had been adjusted for full coverage and great pressure. Our yard is looking great through the summer heat. Thank you Steve, Junior, and team for doing a SUPERIOR job!! Have not met another team that cares so much about the quality of work.

On a Thursday, we noticed a leak in front of our garage in the seam of the cement driveway. We were hoping it was just our sprinkler systems from the planters and our gardener could look at it on his regular Saturday morning visit; however this was the first weekend since we hired him a couple months ago that he didn't show up. On Sunday morning since we hadn't heard back from our gardener, I contacted several sprinkler companies via Yelp and OC Sprinkler was the only one available on that day. Steve arrived within a couple hours and accessed the situation. He did as much as he could that day. He said the office would be in contact within the next couple days to finish the job. At 7:30am Monday morning, Steve and 2 of his courteous workers arrived to finish the job which took a few hours. Turns out it was a slow leak, possibly from the recent earthquake, that was from our main line so without Steve and his crew's help, it would have cost us a lot more and we would have been without water for a lot longer. We definitely recommend OC Sprinkler Repair since they have the best response time, quickest service time completed, very professional and exceptional communication with updates, etc. It was great piece of mind knowing OC Sprinker is available when needed. I called OCSR yesterday at around 3pm to see if they could help me with a leak. I was flooding my backyard and my neighbors yard. Steve had an opening and stopped by 8:30 then following morning. He was extremely friendly, explained everything he was doing, and made sure to check everything before he left. The price was very reasonable and on top of that, he's an Arborist and gave me some advise on my fruit trees which weren't doing so hot this year.

It's a great feeling when you find someone who can provide a service you need and is a pleasure to work with!

I wish I would have found him sooner and saved myself $$$ working with other providers.

I just used Orange County Sprinkler Repair for the first time when a main line in my front yard broke. Their staff were able to identify and fix the problem quickly and even did a few adjustments to some sprinkler heads that needed tweeking. Their pricing was very reasonable, the guys who did my fixes were very nice and my lawn was put back very nicely. I couldn't ask for more, so from here on out, when I have any irrigation issues, they will be my go to company. Highly, highly Recommend! Thank you OC Sprinkler Repair!

How absolutely refreshing! As the caretaker of my elderly parents, I have delt with many unethical home repair individuals/companies who have tried to take advantage of my vulnerable parents. Then I showed up at my moms house yesterday to find Steve fixing my moms sprinklers. He was HONEST, fair, kind, wonderful and fixed my moms leaky sprinkler system beautifully. I so appreciated him. We had tried another service listed on the rain bird website and upon the service visit it was very clear, they only had one intention and that was to sell us on a new device. My gut was telling me something isn't adding up so I did a little research and came across OC sprinkler and was connected with steve and his team. You could tell in talking with him and getting to the root of things this would be a much different experience. He was able to solve all my problems, walked me through why and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. He had the whole job complete in one visit and at a reasonable price.
