Established in 1977, Orange Coast Plumbing has specialized in unblocking drains, repairing sewer issues, and providing emergency plumbing services around the clock to residential and commercial clients in Santa Ana and the surrounding regions. Our experienced plumbers will come to your location, fully prepared to tackle any plumbing emergency with the right equipment and supplies.
Founded in 1977 by the Flynn family, Orange Coast Plumbing has been dedicated to serving the plumbing, heating, and air needs of Southern California. Still a family-operated business, Joe serves as General Manager while John takes on the role of owner. We prioritize a high-touch, concierge-style service for our customers. Although the landscape has shifted since the 1970s, our core dedication to our clients has stayed the same, which we think is why we have flourished while others have disappeared. We invite you to allow us the opportunity to gain your loyalty as a lasting client. Our clients are invaluable to us; without them, we wouldn't be here. Give us the opportunity to prove our worth!
Thirty years back, John Flynn and his family began Orange Coast Plumbing out of their parents' garage. Now, the family has a fleet of 50 trucks ready to serve every neighborhood in Orange County and nearby cities for your emergency plumbing requirements around the clock.

Mike K.These folks came out to my house about two weeks ago because sewage was backing up from the shower and flooded the bathroom and part of the downstairs. They ran a snake and removed some roots and charged us $250.00. Two weeks later, today, the same problem happened, and we called to get them back out. I told them I was very unhappy, and the lady from customer service said ""I just answer the phone."" I said I wanted them to come back and fix the problem because it was never fixed correctly the first time, and that they overcharged. She reiterated that roots grow and they don't guarantee against them not returning. I told them that was ridiculous, and that I was going to have to complain as a consumer. She then notified her manager, who said they would have come out to fix the problem for free, but was bitter that I mentioned I was already very upset and in the process of writing them this review. This is the worst company I have experienced working with in as long as I can remember. We decided to start over with a more reputable company. These people will rip you off!
Ted M.Their office person told me over the phone there was no service charge for them to give me an estimate. Yet when Chuck the plumber got there, he needed to take a closer look at the issue to determine what needed to be done to fix the leaking shower valve and to be able to give me an estimate. Because he took a tool out of his bag to take a look, he said he gets to charge a service call now even though he did not do the work.
I will not use them for the overpriced estimate they gave me, and don't believe it when they say there is no service charge for them to give you a so-called ""free estimate""!!!
They charge for everything here and they are overpriced in their estimates!
We had a major blockage in drain lines in a 50 year old house in Laguna Beach. Jimmy Athens and Nolan Rodriguez of Orange Coast Plumbing worked on the problem with creativity, experience and just plain hard work until it was 100% cured. They diagnosed the problem using the best diagnostic gear--all of which they had in their truck--and found a way to avoid having to cut into the foundation slab to fix it. This was a really big job and they did a really great job in getting it done for us. We have used Orange Coast before with equally excellent results (such as a new water heater) and can confidently recommend them to others. Thanks again guys!
This last weekend we had a plumbing emergency that required our water be shut off and that the services of a plumber be obtained immediately. We contacted Orange Coast and after a few slight miscues regarding the expected time of arrival, one of their plumbers named Jesse, arrived early Saturday evening and got to work right away. By that time we were admittedly not in the best of moods, but he calmly took it all in stride and RAPIDLY corrected the problem far sooner than we had originally thought it would take! Thanks to his professionalism and expertise, if there had been any dismay before, it was quickly handled. The bottom line is thanks to the attitude of employees like Mr. Flores and the more than proficient way our problem was handled once he arrived, we ended up VERY PLEASED with the outcome, and will most definitely be calling Orange Coast Plumbing the next time any plumbing troubles should arise--and also recommend them to anyone in similar situation.
Plumber came out to our commercial building, he could not fix the problem, quoted $400 to come back out with a camera, never showed up. Then when calling the office to see why they didn't come back out, they stated that they couldn't because of the length from the street to the drain was too far. I had to call another company to fix. Then I receive a bill in the mail for $590.94 for the first visit when the guy fixed NOTHING. When calling to dispute the charges, they wouldn't even tell me how many hours they were charging me for, said it was a flat fee. I was willing to pay a small fee for his time, but they refused and said they would be filing a lawsuit if I didn't pay the full amount. The office was super rude from the very first phone call when all I was doing was inquiring about the fee. They instantly became defensive, rude and would give no information and refused any conversation about the bill. They said they would ""look into"" every time I called. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER with office staff that I have ever had. Plumber was okay...office was horrible!!!!
UPDATE: I have a check sitting here waiting to pay this company once they send me the revised bill with the hours the plumber was at our facility. But they refuse. They just gave me a call back and said BECAUSE OF THIS REVIEW I GAVE THEM, THAT THEY DON'T WANT MY MONEY AND WOULD RATHER SEND THE BILL TO COLLECTIONS. So not only will they not do a simple task of adding hours worked to an invoice, they will retaliate based on bad reviews.
came out today. they told me they fix units like mine all the time. was told if it wasn't able to be fixed they could install a new one. the guy gets here and tells me they don't fix units like mine. He then proceeds to give me an estimate for a new through the wall air conditioner at a cost of $2,300. I should have checked reviews on here first. Reoccurring theme on here of people being overcharged. A reasonable estimate for this job at the high end would be about $1,000. Clearly they are not honest and take advantage of someone without a/c during a heat wave and would do so in other situations as well. I would never use this company again and unless you want to be ripped off my suggestion is anyone thinking about using them, should reconsider.
Alejandra G.These guys are super dependable, knowledgeable, honest, and do a great job. I had a couple of clogged sinks in the house and Erick from OCP fixed them right up. He did it super quickly too! My interactions with all the folks have been very pleasant. Overall it was quick to book and have them come out to the house too. Fair prices, really couldn't ask for more from a plumbing company!
Bob R.Sure believed I was dramatically overcharged be this firm for re-routing the hot water line from the water heater to kitchen sink. Work was done back in 2009 to repair slab leak. Cost was $3,800
Last year in 2015 I had another slab leak so decided to re-pipe all remaining pipes and replace with copper. Contacted CIRO plumbing. They re-routed 7, yes 7 pipes, 1cold water to kitchen and hot/cold to 2 bathrooms. Replaced all valves and fixtures. Even covered the hot water pipe to kitchen with insulation that Orange Coast Plumbing did not. Fantastic job. Very little damage to walls, which they repaired. Total cost 7 pipes $4,800. OCC cost 1 pipe $3,800. You do the math. I was ripped off by Orange Coast Plumbing. Didn't realize it until CIRO did a better more fair job later.
Travis Garland is the best plumber. He came to our condo when our main drains backed up last night. I would highly recommend his services. He was very knowledgeable, clean, and best of all I got to take a hot shower! Call him!!!
Eliecer C.Well, I spent a great deal of money 4 years ago. The A/C unit stopped blowing cold air. ""It needs a new coil."" ""That's because, the one we sold you is defective and the company that manufactured it went out of business."" So they sell me a new one at a cost of $3395.00. I need the air conditioning to work so I paid it. However, I'll not pay these scoundrels again.
When I work I stand with integrity behind my workmanship. If I were to use a defective part, I would see a way to make it right. Wether I would loose money or not. ""A good name is hard to win and easily lost."" And so they have.
