Had a very simple task, that I'd normally do myself (remove existing faucet, and install a new one in my laundry room sink). Felix came out to do the work, was very congenial, and did a great job. I do suggest, however, that one do his / her due diligence regarding what procedures normally cost in your area. Get a couple of bids, if necessary. My recent experience indicates that plumbing companies spend more time consulting with the boss regarding pricing (similar to buying a car) than just doing the work. Felix did the work for a fair price, but the initial proposal (price) was far different. Do your due diligence.

I am very good at plumbing -- have all the tools, and will likely do my own work in the future, as dealing with plumbing companies is just too much work. If I have to do the Hokey Pokey, and turn myself around, it just isn't worth the effort.

Yesterday I had a slab leak in one of my rental units and I called Orange Coast Plumbing. I have been using this Company for several years.

Felix found the leak and explained what was needed to be done and how much it would cost. He was able to cap the leak working late into the night with Eric.

With rental units or my home problems come up 24/7 and Orange Coast Plumbing has always come out when needed.

During escrow of my new home (in late March/early April 2017), Orange Coast Plumbing reviewed the necessary components, including my AC unit. Their recommendation was to add freon and check the unit, which they did and charged $615.15. Approximately 2 1/2 months later, I ran the AC and it was not working porperly (blowing warm air). By the first week of August, the warm air was still blowing, so I called another agency. The problem was diagnosed as having too much freon, which resulted in the compressor failing. The pressure of the compressor was at 375, normal range is around 225 to 250. There were three options: 1) band-aid the problem, 2) replace the compressor at $2200, or 3) buy a new unit with coil system at $5100. The band aid work and now the AC blows the cold air.

Not impressed with causing the compressor to fail.

We thought we had a slab leak and called a few companies. Orange Coast was the only company that was immediately available.

They did a thorough job of finding the leak and explaining in detail what it would take to fix it. All costs were told to us in advance before the work was done.

At the end of the day, the estimate was actually higher than the cost!!

Outstanding service. Jeff was here w/in a few hours to replace the water heater. The service is what you would expect. However, what really needs to be noted is that Jeff treated all of my personal belongings like they were his own. He moved all of my stuff carefully and really did a great job. When he was done with the repair, he put everything back. In fact, you weren't able to tell anything had ever been moved. Truly remarkable. I'm a very happy customer.

When we needed to repair and remodel both upstairs bathrooms at the same time, we went out to bid with three plumbing companies.  Orange Coast Plumbing was referred to us by a trusted local realtor as the company to call.  Although the price was a bit higher than other bids, the value and quality of service we received more than offset the difference in cost.

The initial scope of our project was to open the common wall between our master and guest bathrooms to repair a major leak and replace all plumbing with new copper pipes. Replacing the pipes created the opportunity to resurface the tubs and replace the flooring, toilets, vanity and the rest of the plumbing fixtures for the sinks and showers. Lastly, we needed the sink in our downstairs half bath replaced due to rust, so we added it to the list.

We placed a call to Orange Coast Plumbing for a quote in the afternoon and our plumber, Rock, arrived early the next morning.  It was clear from our initial meeting with Rock that he had the technical/professional skills and experience needed to complete our project on time, on budget, and with excellence.  Seeing that we are tall people, he suggested we move the hole for the shower head higher to give us a ""spa-like"" effect which was awesome! And while it is not his practice to recommend faucets, he offered knowledge on how to evaluate each product based on our requirements. This was invaluable in helping us to make the right design decisions. 

There were no surprises with Rock. He was very communicative and considerate. We appreciated how he let us know the frequency and length of time needed to shut off the water.  He was also very flexible about working his schedule around other contractors we brought in to do flooring, drywall, painting, and tub resurfacing. We only had three weeks to get everything done and for this project, and we could meet our timelines only because we had skilled professionals like Rock from Orange Coast Plumbing.

In our house, Orange Coast Plumbing, and Rock, are on ""speed dial"" for any future plumbing needs.  We believe they are #1 in Orange County and highly recommend them to others!
