The Ongario team replaced all of the plumbing under the house. A very big job indeed. They were careful, efficient, thoughtful, punctual. They made it possible for us to have water in the house after the day's work was done. They cleaned up the work areas every day. The job took 3 days. I was nervous about how they would make the repairs, but they carefully explained the method. I am grateful for the time they took to explain the process. They inspected and measured the lay out before the job started. They made the calculations and carried through systematically. The office team was responsive to any questions I had. What should have been at most a couple thousand to fix a few issues (and I'm being generous here) turned into a quote of in excess of $50k after an ""inspection"". Don't go for the inspection option; you'll be presented with a bunch of photographs intended to frighten you into committing tens of thousands to a plumbing overhaul. But it's okay, they can help you finance! Can't speak to the quality of work on offer since it been years since I've used this company, and of course after this experience I certainly don't feel confident in using them now. My advice is to keep the scope of your job precise and defined.

I have lived in my home for 7 years. Throughout that time, I have consulted several HVAC contractors for advice and recommendations for maintaining a more consistent temperature throughout our home. Last week, I reached out to Ongaro and Sons and a contractor (Brandon) was at my house first thing the next morning. Brandon went above and beyond to help me understand the flow rates and how to control the dampers. In addition, he was able to provide 2-3 options for making our house warmer and more consistent. Brandon was amazing and he educated me HVAC 101. He was an absolute pleasure and you have wonderful people representing your brand. We are planning to have O&S perform all of our upgrades and we will continue to use them if their service continues to be this impressive.

Last year Ongaro & Sons replaced a really old furnace in our home. They did a great job given the limited space they had to work in. There was only one problem...when the heat went on it was loud to the point we had to turn our TV up to hear over the noise. Our neighbors had their furnace replaced a few months after we did ours, and they raved about how quiet theirs was. We checked theirs out and it was a lot quieter than ours. Another company had installed it and had used a different brand than what we had. We actually considered replacing ours, but contacted Ongaro to see if anything could be done. We were fortunate to be able to book an appointment with a tech within a matter of days. My wife wasn't available when the tech, Chris Ostrum, came to the house to check things out. Chris realized we had a variable speed fan and was able to adjust the speed down so the noise level was much reduced. I told Chris that my wife wouold have to be the final judge of his success. Chris provided me with a few options of what could be done if the lower sound level didn't pass my wife's criteria. My wife was pleased. We're happy with the service that Chris and Ongaro provided. And we're happy that with a simple adjustment Chris was able to save us many thousands of dollars in replacement costs.

GET A SECOND BID!!!

This company used to be a family company, but the 3rd generation owner is destroying it.

They have excellent technicians and provide a high level of service. But they are charging 2-3 times their competition. They train their employees in shady sales tactics and will rip you off with a smile. Emotional manipulation is common with their sales people. Do you want a tradesman or a salesman?

Buyer beware.

Its a shame, this company used to be legit.

Chris Ostrom Juvencio came to my home and fixed a heating problem we have had for the last month. He was friendly, capable, and fixed the heater
in a very short timeframe, as we were expecting guests to be staying with us.
It is nice to know that true craftsmen like Chris are still around.
