This is a company that can't keep their appointment time slots and when you agree to a revised slot to replace their cancelled slot, they can't keep their punctuality on that either. Also talked to supervisor, and no empathy there. Very disappointed as I wasted half a day waiting for them; I was so mad, I did not reschedule a third time. Half a day wasted (two hour slot for original appoint and then second appointment slot). In comparison, their competitors in the area can keep their slots and are punctual.

Time to replace an 80 year old furnace and Ongaro was very professional throughout the entire experience. (We had a different company install a separate furnace within the house a few years back . . . but this time I used Ongaro and couldn't be happier with my decision; hence my first Yelp review!) I think it was Ben at the initial visit who gave us furnace options, Humberto and Jose were great with the install, and Dan finessed a couple of dampers for me at the post-installation visit. When the pipe of our septic system disengaged from the pump, the result was nasty sewage leakage and effluvia anytime a household action involved water - flushing, dishwater, garbage disposal, showering - and, of course, it was a Saturday. David Weatherly, from Ongaro Plumbing, came to our home and rescued us. He had the part and knows his job well. The problem solved quickly and efficiently with maximum courtesy and great attitude. This is not the first time Ongaro has come to our aid and won't be the last. Though they may be slightly more expensive, they are definitely worth it. Thank you, David and Ongaro.

Mark was our Service Technician was so friendly and knowledgeable. He arrived promptly and took great care in maintaining our heater and thermostat. It was raining and he took the time to cover his shoes when he entered our home. It was so thoughtful and helpful to have Ongaro send a notice to me on my iPhone and computer informing me his name, a brief description and a photo of him prior to his visit. From my experience I would recommend them.

Our furnace stopped running owing to dust and carbon on the ignitor and the gas burners. There are a few things I'd like to note:

(1) I got a real person on the phone to discuss the issue without waiting (this was during business hours).
(2) I got a service call scheduled for the next afternoon with a 2 hour arrival window.
(3) The tech arrived at the early part of the window - I was texted about the precise time with photo and name in advance.
(4) The service call went well. Tyler was respectful, professional, wore the booties, and knew what to do quickly. The expense was the minimum service charge (no parts required) which I consider to be very fare in the current economy.

Just want to add that this same thing happened a few years before and I called a different outfit that tried to up-sell me on a new furnace. This didn't happen this time with Ongaro and Sons. And I learned my lesson: Going forward it will be regular seasonal furnace servicing - with Ongaro and Sons.
