They said if you put a review up you would get a Starbucks card. So I took their card and entered a review. Its probably been several months. No card. What a joke.
Leah E.Responsive and quick, showed up early for both the estimate and the repair. Quoted us less than other companies for a hot water heater replacement and were able to fit us in first thing the next morning. They were clean and respectful in our house and followed all Covid safety guidelines. Did a great job in a surprisingly quick time. Couldn't ask for more, we will definitely be hiring them again
Sheila H.My 50 gal electric water heater in my townhouse was going on 13 years so had to get it replaced. Decided to go with O'Neill since their bid was about the same as some of the bigger companies and I rather support a local small business. I first reached out to them via email and their office person, Dayton, responded to me right away. He gave me estimates over email and advised there is an $80 charge for coming out to do an in person estimate but this will get deducted in the overall bill if O'Neill end up doing the job. That seems reasonable to me since that seems to be the industry standard. I would highly recommend this because an in-person estimate allows them to see if there are any other issues going on and put together a bid that is more accurate. Do this if you don't like surprises like me. Nelson (with mask on) came out do the estimate and gave me a few options. He came on time, was very knowledgeable and respectful. He also emailed me the bid right after our appointment. I had a few more questions on the bid and Dayton was able to answer them over email. On the day of the job, the plumber that came out was John and his assistant, Vicente. They were on time, had their masks on the whole time, and had their shoe covers on every time they came into the house. They had to trek in and out quite a bit as they used the front yard for staging their supplies so I really appreciated they did that. A few things that impressed me. At the end of the job John asked me if he could go back and check on something to make sure he installed everything right. I told him of course, take as long as you need. It speaks volume to me that a company takes the time to do a job right versus rushing to do the next job on their list. John also shared with me he's been with the company for 15 years and really enjoy working for this family business. I think that if you can retain an employee for that long, you must know how to treat your employees right and that's the kind of company I want to give my business to. Lastly, when I receive my final invoice, without me asking for it John gave me a $30 coupon that was happening now and also took some labor charges off the original estimate because they finished early. Wow! Who doesn't like saving money right? I would recommend O'Neill for sure. They checked off all the boxes for me as far as honesty, quality work, on time, customer service, and respect. One last thing, I would also recommend scheduling your appointment first thing in the morning if you are inflexible on time and always allow more time than necessary for the job. This will help to hopefully avoid unforeseen problems. On O'Neill, I would give them my business again. Very satisfied.
We have used O'Neill Plumbing in Seattle for many plumbing projects, both small and large. For the most recent job, James and Kyle met me right on time, and were efficient, professional, and as always, got the job done in their usual timely and high quality fashion. O'Neill is highly recommended--they are amazing!
Jim A.Excellent work, great price. Quick response. Used them for a kitchen and bathroom unclog.
Shawna Q.The one star is for the actual physical service of threading a pipe which they completed and so far seems to be working fine. If I could give O'Niell Plumbing a negative star on customer service, I would. They have a major communication breakdown in their office, from general questions, scheduling and billing. Expect to be surprised when you get your bill with unexpected charges/tool rental fee, and expect to get the runaround and blamed for them being late, not showing up or misunderstanding about what you're being charged for. I can't even go into details about how many communication breakdowns I had with them because it would surely surpass the allowed character count limit.
O'Neill Plumbing provided excellent service from booking through their visit today. They quickly unblocked a slow draining tub with tricky pipes, and for a good price. I will definitely go to them again for future plumbing needs!
O'Neill Plumbing to the rescue again. I have found them very responsive and professional whenever I needed their help. The first time was 3 years ago on Christmas Eve. We had a major water leak outside of the house and it was very cold. They resolved the problem through the Christmas Holiday and never charged more because it was the Holiday. The last time with the COVID-19 situation going on and we are in our late 70s and 80 years old, they were here to take care of our plugged-up kitchen sinks when all of my efforts were not effective. They took are of the problem in record time and again, no additional charges and to me it was an emergency situation. We are not just old, I am the caregiver of my husband and really needed to be able to keep everything clean and sanitary.
Anyway, I don't think you can go wrong if you choose them for a job.
PS: They a complete repluming on this house when we did a major renovation back in the early 2000s. Never a bit of problem until I plugged up the kitchen sinks.
Jason F.It's been a while since I've needed a plumber, but I have used O'Neill before. For me, what began as a slow draining tub, then became a fully clogged tub. I tried to snake the drain myself, but couldn't get it cleared. I think that I lucked out in calling O'Neill, as they came and tried with their commercial snake, but then after further review, needed to run a camera down the drain. This is where the fun began.
The tech showed me the camera footage, and he said that you shouldn't be able to see dirt/soil from your drain, doh. I guess my 100-year old house and the cement sewer drains had given way. At this point you have an option: you can do this liner thing where they fix it through the existing pipe, or you can replace all the pipe. In my case the cost was about the same so I had them replace the whole thing, from my house to the middle of the street. It cost about $11,000 and tore up my yard, but I was very happy with the service and the price provided by O'Neill. Particularly when I saw my neighbor having to do the same thing, but he had to pay $20,000.
This is the company to call if you need service. I have been using them for years now on necessary projects and repairs in my home. Always pleased and happy with the response and result. Most recently it was a simply problem repaired, a pilot light issue on my hot water tank. They beat the scheduled appointment time, quickly made the repair. Tyler was professional and pleasant through the process. Now, the bill, made me even happier when I found that the replaced part was under warranty. Call them if you want quality professional service.
