Great, same day service and the guys who came, Bobby and Ted, were very friendly and helpful. I gave them 4 stars as it was a very standard plumbing issue (clogged toilet) I will reserve the higher ratings if/when we need them for a bigger job.

I was happy to use One Call straight after my phone booking and rescheduling. They made it so easy and pleasant. No waiting, no useless questions and transferred immediately to technician if needed. Then I met their technicians Bobby and Ted. If you use One Call I would request them personally. Bobby is a very honest, up front, kind man that explained everything to me step by step. I had a few quotes and Bobby came in at similar prices but because he was polite, fair and co operative I wanted to book his service. I have no problem referring him to any home.

Don't trust the good reviews and they are completely wrong.
All they care about is getting money out of you. After that, they don't care. They said they would meet me within a time frame, and didn't show up (I even called during the time frame to check on the status). It was not until I called, again, 30 minutes after they were supposed to show up that they said they were not coming. I lost work hours, and they completely wasted my time.
The next day they finally show up. We had some water damage (and trust me it was obvious with our floorboards out and fans everywhere) and the incompetent employee says, "So, did you experience any water damage?" I politely told him yes, but it was the reason for calling him out in the first place. After, he says he has to make a call. I asked if he was coming back, he said he would be. I walked out to check and his truck was gone. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Again, they don't care so long as they have the money from you, after that you are on your own.
They will take advantage of you and not take responsibility when they screw up. Watch out.

They suck, plain and simple, find someone else. Not trustworthy at all. They overcharge, take advantage and deny responsibility when they make a mistake. Don't make the same mistake I did. Any positive reviews are probably written by them. I trusted the good reviews and am paying for it now.

I wanted my yearly A/C service done which I've been meticulous about since unit was new (~7 yrs old), saw their special online reduced from $89.95 to $30.00 for "A/C Tune Up". Checked Yelp reviews, seemed good so called to make appoint (fabulous lady works there called Ms. April-so so nice courteous and made it all very easy). Rep arrived (25 mins late), was very polite but then spent literally 2 mins at the condensor unit outside, 2 mins up in loft area (no way he couldve got over to the furnace in that time never mind checked drains etc), then proceeded to tell me that not only was the installation of the previous work not good, but my condensor was pulling 2.5amps over capacity and would likely fail within 6-8 weeks! (I only called them for a std service!). He then estimated $7300 to fix, inc new coil, and left. HE DID NOT EVEN OPEN OR CLEAN the condensor as is usual through any of the previous service appointments I've had, and the gauges were only on the condensor for literally 1.5 mins. After leaving message about being somewhat confused and unhappy about the visit, today I was called by an absolutely MORON called Daniel who called himself the 'Ops Manager', (pity he couldn't operate any civility to a customer), who not only told me that I had 'misinterpreted' their statement of 'A/C Tune Up' and their standard practice is not to do 'any work' (heaven forbid!), and that they just 'look' at your A/C. He said other companies must have been lying to me when they said they were cleaning my condensor unit in previous years (I saw them!), and the best he could do was send someone else out but they'd only do the same thing ... so I asked for my money back. He said he'd talk to 'the Manager' .. so I asked to speak to Edgar and he said 'no, he doesn't talk to customers and leaves the customers up to him'!!!! Really?!? Well, that can't have been Edgar that I spoke to on the phone the eve before about my appointment then??, or the Edgar that everybody says is soooo good with customers? Yet Daniel wouldn't yield and pass me onwards. So I [sarcastically] thanked him for being soooo very helpful, hung up and called back. I got Ms. April on the phone who is a credit to Edgar and his team (Excl Daniel), and quickly sorted out the entire situation by talking to Edgar who said that wasn't standard operating behaviour and apologised for the problems.
I was very pleased with the level of customer service from both Ms April and Edgar, but FORGET DANIEL - he's a complete waste of time and doesn't have a clue how to resolve any customer issues. I wouldn't want him representing my company that's for sure because I wasn't impressed at all by his behaviour, and based solely on him, is the reason why I'd think twice about calling this company ever again.

We had them install a new AC in December and it hasn't worked for the last month. They have sent out 4 different technicians and still are without AC. Each one has blamed the previous one for not ordering the right part. I have a retail business and no AC I am not a happy camper. Needless to say they deserve no stars.

Do not use them! We have three AC units and had used this company for over three years. We had maintenance plans with them and used them at least twice a year. They were pretty good in 2011, but have gone downhill in recent years. The quality of work, the attitude of the techs, and the customer service have all declined. We recently had them do a 3 hour plumbing repair, for which we were overcharged and later found out they hadn't glued many of the pipes and had to come back again. Even after that call, pipes were still unglued and we had to get another company to fix all of their work! They will try to sell you things you may not need and will call you to tell you they are on their way to your house even after you told them you did not want them doing the work. We had to contact the owner many times about price discrepancies, shoddy work and abrasive techs. He rarely returned ours calls and when he did had many excuses and seemed put out to honor pricing we had verbally agreed on (in terms of applying the trip charge to the repair charge).

This will be only a partial review because after they came out I was so shocked at their price I told them I could not use them. So I have not had work done by them.
They wanted $200 to put in a toilet tank in a one-year-old house; the tank in one of our baths had a crack and needed replacing. Two other bids were $90 and $100. Charging me double what other reputable plumbers wanted, particularly after telling me on the phone it would be in the same range as the others, was not reasonable.
One final note. Montrose AC and Plumbing Services is One Call Services. One is a front for the other and vice versa. This is not told to you when you call, and IMHO, a little shady.

This company has resolved my issue with my problem, and I am happy with the resolution.

I was reffered to one call by a friend.
My a/c unit was not cooling.
I took a chance and called thinking i would be scheduled for a different day due to the houston weather being so hot.
The young lady that answered the phone ask about my details on my situation and told me she could have a tech/techs out in a 2 hr. time frame so i scheduled the appointment.
I recieved a curtesy call not long after i made the appointment to let me know the tech/techs had been dispatched.
The gentleman showed up 30 min. later and much to my suprise they showed a badge proving they were with the company one call even though i could see the van from my window.
This was a great start since i had never used one call before & let me know i had professionals in my home.
The gentleman found the problem and worked as a team and got my unit up and cooling.
I was so thankful!
One of the gentleman wrote up my invoice and there was no service charge that the lady in the office had mention to me so i ask him why and he replied i was only charged for the repair and he hoped i would be a future repeat customer if i ever needed service again.
I will reffer all my friends and family to ONE CALL should they ever need service .
