Please don't put yourself through the horrible experience of making the one call that can ruin your life! This company doesn't care about you, they will lie to your face and gladly take your money without a bat of an eye. Calling them for a duct replacement, then getting a whole new and sealed system, as Vic likes to call it, was a complete lie and quickly turned into a nightmare. As everything in my home including my husband and myself stay covered with refrigerant and oil from the botched ac system instillation, not able to run a 13,000$ system due to One Call's mistakes, I can't even get a call back. So for the sake of your sanity and your wallet do yourself a favor and call anyone else for your home needs!

Used this business unit right after purchasing a home and having AC issues. (Yes, I had a home inspection done and it was A-OK) I was essentially conned into getting a whole home system replaced. (On a positive note, the 5TON AC system cools great) We had issues with the unit not cooling our upstairs initially. There were all kinds of excuses but in the end they fixed it by installing exposed duct in the upstairs. Their Customer Service Reps leave much to be desired. Now that I know better I can tell you to shop around before getting a system with these guys. I could have got a similar system for less than half the price I paid with them, 20K is not a deal FYI.

I can't say enough good things about these guys. This past summer, we bought an 80-year-old home that had plumbing and AC problems out the wazoo. After working with a few companies that made us wait weeks for appointments or never followed up, we reached out to OneCall and have used them for everything since. The scheduling department does a great job of communicating about your appointment, Rob and Rigo are super friendly and knowledgeable, and they give you a variety of quotes to choose from depending on your budget and priorities. Their prices may not be the lowest, but we have their Perfect Home Plan which has already paid for itself in discounts and gives us a lot of peace of mind. C

We used One Call for our heater that wasn't working. We thought it was the thermostat, but when the repairman arrived, he quickly discovered it was not the thermostat, but the actual heater in the attic that was malfunctioning. He discussed with us our options and the cost of repairing the unit vs replacing the unit. We decided to replace the 22 year old unit. The warranty on the new unit is 12 years plus 2 years on the installation workmanship, which is a very good warranty.

Once we called One Call, Roger, One Call's rep arrive quickly to check out the problem. They were able to get the new heating unit the next day. The crew that installed the new unit was headed by Fabian. They were all very professional, courteous and took time to explain the process so we knew exactly what they were doing.
We will definitely use One Call again, as we had used them in the past and recommend them for air conditioning and heating repairs.

Plumbing....I had recently brought an older home that had not been occupied for a while all drains were clogged. They unclogged the main sewer line /found it . ..it was hidden....recommended I raise so you can see it above ground like you should and my main sewer line needed to be replaced damaged from being old and tree roots. 10 year warranty . Mike Sheldon even gave his cell # if any problems occurred. I am up and running perfectly now will recommend and use for any plumbing issues.

I had a/c guy come out to estimate/repair my central a/c unit,was not cooling...i was outside with him watching him open up box...looks at a few things pulls a few wires off switch and tells me i need a new fan motor...$920...I said but how do you know it's not a switch,can you show me how you checked for switch or capacitor...he fumbled around as if he couldn't do it for some reason or,,like he didn't have equipment to properly test it...he just knew it was bad...he wrote me up an estimate..I told him i would get another opinion and call him if I needed his service..next day I called friend who knew someone in a/c business...he came out looked at it..in one minute said I needed a new capicitor...he had one in his truck..it was $35....he popped it in,in about 10 minutes and charged me $85....said my a/c was fine...went inside house and checked all the vents...and a/c was blowing out at 59 degrees...this guy from One Call either didn't know what he was doing...or he was obviously charging me for a much bigger project than what I needed...he said he'd been doing a/c for 12 years...be careful out there when dealing with service guys...always get another opinion/estimate...

They recharged my A/C system with 5lbs R-410A refrigerant and charged 84$ per pound = $420. Only after the tech recharged the system did he tell me how many lbs it needed and how much the total price per pound was gonna be, therefore I am dissapointed with their price per pound. After I did some research I found out 84$ a pound is on the extreme high end for the national average and especially Houston.

Tech Josh,
Came to fix floating switch. He opened panel and told me there was no water build up. He dried sensor and unit came back on. 5hrs later unit kicks off. I go take off panel and as you can see from the pic there was this gel build up that was in the pan which tripped the float switch.

Question where did my $47.50 go if I had to go back a fix the problem.

I think I deserve a call and refund.

Excellent Service, I had a leak in my sheet rock that happened at 9pm at night, I called and got a response immediately. I had never been up in my attic before, but they were able to walk me through how to go up there and figure out the source of the leak, which based on where the water was she was able to diagnose the problem accurately. Nick, the technician arrived early the next morning and was able to get me quote on services. They also offered financing and he even offered to bring a portable a/c unit to my house until fixed, as the a/c unit had to be turned off so it would not continue to leak until fixed.

I would definitely recommend them to any one looking for excellent customer service. The even have a sheet rock repair person in case you need sheet rock repairs.

A technician/salesman came out to check my AC unit which was not operating. I was told that the repair would cost around 1700 to get more freon (older system on r-22) and fix the fan or whatever else was wrong or 10k for a whole new system. After calling some other more trust worthy, not money hungry individuals, I only ended up paying 200 and my system is running and cooling just fine. The commission off selling new AC systems must be awesome.
