I recently moved to Sacramento and encountered a leak on the side of my home. I had at least 2 additional services out to try and detect the leak and fix it. They were unsuccessful and a waste of money. Not wanting to give up, I contacted Jon at On the Spot. He was very courteous and professional. I immediately got the impression this guy knew his business. He instilled a sense of confidence that you want in somebody who is trying to solve a problem for you. Jon arrived at the schedued time and immediately got to work. Within 30 minutes he had resolved what the problem was and the leak was fixed. I woke up the next day and yep you guessed it no leak. Don't hesitate to call at On the Spot, I had heard that Jon was the best in the business and after watching him work you soon realize why!

My mother in law needed termite treatments in her home which necessitated drilling of the concrete slab foundation and patio. I called Tim of On the Spot Leak Detection for locating the water pipes in the slab to avoid drilling into them. Matt came out to do the locating and was friendly, thorough and professional. He marked the pipes with blue painter's tape. The termite work was completed successfully without damage to the pipes. The price for the locating was quite reasonable too. Thank God they have offices in Sacramento & East Bay. I lhave been using Jon/Inspector (Sacramento) for several years. Gives me a true picture of the underground plumbing situation instead being at the mercy of unscrupulous plumber (who always finds more work after they dig). Always made it a point to clearly define findings- very respectful never condescending - very responsive to following up to make sure Leak problem is found. Hard to find contractors like this.

I am so grateful to know about On the Spot leak detection. My plumbing company advised me before even they came out, I should contact Tim at On the Spot leak detection because he has special equipment that could identify the exact location of our problem. Tim was prompt, professional and personable. He not only diagnosed the problem with his underground camera, but he then made two additional trips to our home in Orinda (at no additional cost): once to work collaborate with the plumber from Lett's, and a third time with a smaller and more agile camera to assure that the sewer line was clear beyond the initial obstruction. Tim's skill and thoroughness is far above and beyond the level of service I've come to expect in recent years. I highly recommend this company.

We found out we had a leak when a neighbor walking by the house saw a stream running down the walk. We called, talked with Tim and Matt came out to find the leak. Once found, we worked with Lett's plumbing and had everything fixed quickly. Great teamwork, highly recommended!

Best guys and service. I called yesterday because our water bill had sky rocketed. Tim called me back, and we chatted. Such a sweet man, he listened to our situation with kindness, and offered advice. Since we felt that he had located the problem over the phone, he still offered to come out to our home for a courtesy check of the water meter at no charge.

It's rare to find a company that really wants to offer the best service, for your benefit instead of their own. You can tell by Tim's caring nature that he is a stand up guy. I would refer this company to anyone looking to locate a leak in their home!

Called Tim at On the Spot on Saturday about a possible leak under the house. He came on Monday early and because the house is on a concrete slab with 2 layers of tile, it was very difficult to find the leak. After meticulous back and forth, Tim found a spot that he was pretty sure the leak was,in front of the kitchen sink. The plumber came and took out the 2 layers of tile and part of the slab but no leak. I called Tim and asked him to come back. He was there in a half hour. Without the tile and part of the slab he was able to pinpoint the leak right where he thought it was. The plumber came back, broke through the slab and had to clear out 3 inches of gravel before they found the leak. Without Tim they would not have been confident enough to keep digging. Tim went above and beyond to find the leak and I would highly recommend him.
