Paul & Julio handled my Thursday morning (4/10/2025) sewer blockage call with professionalism, courtesy, & a positive outcome. My son had checked the Yelp internet reviews and recommended that I call Olson's Plumbing for a work estimate after another local plumbing company had been unsuccessful to clear our home's sewer. Previously, 3 other plumbers had used both 75 foot & 100 foot sewer cleaning snakes with only temporary results. My home did not have a front yard sewer cleanout pipe, so Paul & Julio unloaded a very heavy 200 foot long sewer cleaning snake and ran that snake from the cleanout pipe in my garage all the way through the mainline cast iron pipe in my house to the clay sewer pipe leading to the Fountain Valley sewer in my traffic circle. After the cleanout snake was retracted, they sent a video camera device through the mainline cast iron pipe and part way down the clay sewer pipe to confirm the results. Paul advised me to have a front yard cleanout pipe installed for ongoing ease of maintenance as well as getting a professional estimate to provide a protective coating inside the mainline cast iron pipe and the clay sewer line pipe. We were fortunate to have Paul, the owner of Olson's Plumbing, as our technician. He came to fix our backed up kitchen sink. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and most of all, very down-to-earth. He snaked the drain and suggested hydro- jetting to scour more grease from the pipes. If a major, dirty, massively expensive replacement of ALL the plumbing in our aging 1962 HB home could possibly be an almost pleasant experience, it is with the Olson/Beach plumbing team of professionals. I can't say enough about the crew who worked four full days straight, crawling and digging under the house to complete this enormous job. They paid attention to every detail, did their best to keep my house as clean as they could and became my two dogs' new best friends. Our bathroom sink backed up Monday night, we sent out a message thru Yelp to Olson's plumbing. Tuesday morning they messaged us fast and they showed up to our house looking clean and professional and ready to work. They quoted us quickly and were very informative. Paul had all the knowledge! He was so kind and helpful, he knew his plumbing! Zachary helped Paul on our second bathroom and they even fixed our pipes that were installed wrong by another plumber. Really appreciate Paul and his assistant for doing such awesome work at our house . We had a broken part in our toilet tank which Paul fixed and a kitchen sink that was backing up each side. In addition to snaking it, he Discovered some roots in the clean out pipe. I'm very pleased with the whole experience from the reception to the service itself.
