It's unfortunate that these days I rarely find myself being truly impressed by a company and the people who run it. Today, while dealing with Olson's Plumbing, it gives me great pleasure to tell you that I was blown away.

I called on a Monday regarding a clogged drain that needed to be fixed as soon as possible (I believe that I spoke to the owner but unfortunately did not get his name). I relayed to him the severity of the situation and he promised to have someone out between 10 and 12 the very next day. I appreciated his understanding of our need and his effort to get someone out as soon as he could. Admittedly, I had called a few other plumbers prior to him and no one seemed to care about our immediate need. During our conversation, he informed me that he was incredibly sick but would send out one of his plumbers.

At 12:30 the next day, I called my wife to see how things had gone as I was out of town. She informed me that no one had shown up yet. Knowing that the poor guy to whom I spoke was sick, I figured that perhaps that was the reason that things had fallen through the cracks. I sent a text message inquiring about service and within 20 seconds I received a phone call back. It was the owner, unfortunately sounding more sick than the day before, but he apologized profusely. He promised to have someone out within an hour and a half. He also insisted that they do the entire job free of charge. Understanding of his situation, I asked him to at least split the fee with me. As a business owner myself, I know and understand that we can't be perfect at all times , especially when our health is not 100%. Simply getting a plumber out to us so quickly was already very much appreciated.

An hour later we had a very professional and courteous plumber at our door. He was able to resolve our problem quickly and efficiently, which we couldn't have appreciated more.

I can tell you two things with certainty from this experience. My family will always call this company for any plumbing needs that may arise and I can 100% recommend this group to absolutely anyone needing plumbing services. It's been a very long time since I've had such a positive interaction.

Had a sprinkler issue in our backyard (Fountain Valley area) and spoke to Richard. He answered the call right away and he and his team came quickly (under 2 hours). They were able to diagnose AND FIX the issue within one hour of arriving. They were so professional, friendly and honest. We felt like they went above and beyond. Based on this experience, we'd absolutely call Richard again if we have any other future plumbing or sprinkler issues.

Called them the day after Christmas to come out to look at our residential pressure valve. They responded promptly and got the job done in a timely manner. Paul and his crew were professional and courteous.
After finishing the original job, they were open to an additional job that we needed done. So, they also completed an area drain cleaning. Very impressed with their service.

Personable and professional they were super quick to respond early in the morning for a sewage issue that had exploded both bathrooms simultaneously. They had a strategy they could communicate and quote. They also suggested other things we should take care of but never high pressure saled us into doing something, they instead gave us the facts and timelines that we could work with. I appreciate the transparency and communication they provided. I would definitely recommend.

Was replacing the sink in the garage when we heard a picture frame fall on the other side of the wall which was the bathroom. It damaged the toilet valve when it fell and caused an already bad pipe to crack right above the slab in the wall. Called up Olson's at 2pm, he was at our house at 4pm to investigate, had his team arrive shortly after and had the leak patched-fixed on both sides of the wall by 5:30pm. Even installed our new 1/4 turn valve switches we were planning on putting in with the new sink. He and his team was determined to get us running water again ASAP and not wait until the next day. Second time we've used them and will continue to use them as our to-go-to plumbers~

Needed help with our sewer line during Thanksgiving. They responding within 1 hour and did a temporary fix to get us through the holiday. Returned the next day and worked hard to repair our collapsed line. They communicated well and reassure to take pictures of everything they did and explained exactly what needed to be done. We were so grateful for their expertise.

Here's my experience with Olson's Plumbing regarding a low water pressure condition I was experiencing. (TL/DR; highly recommend them based on my experience.)

Received a message to my Yelp request within 10 mins. (Expected per their Yelp information.)

Their response was a message that a consultation was required providing a phone number to call or ability to schedule a call time. (""Ugh,"" I thought. Did I not provide enough detail in my request? Just trying to figure out how much an evaluation would be and now I have to talk to someone...)

Called the number and spoke with ""Richard,"" the owner's brother/partner if I understood the relationship correctly.

Before sending someone out he asked me a couple of (good) pertinent questions. E.g. Did I have a pressure control valve? Do I see it with just hot water? etc. Sent him a picture of line coming in from the street showing no pressure valve. He called me back after seeing the picture and said it could be a couple of other things and specifically that they do not service filtration systems (which I inferred included water softeners). From that comment it became clear to check the bypass on the water softener. Sure enough, when the bypass was engaged the water pressure drop problem disappeared. So, problem identified.

As a (potential future) customer I'm thrilled that I saved any service visit cost and identified the problem quickly, ironically in the consultation phone call which I really did not want to have... Told Richard they've earned first bid at any future plumbing business.

Phenomenal service, high quality people. I'll call Olson's again and again! I've had two unrelated plumbing emergencies in the last two weeks. Olson's came out both times and did an excellent job. I even called them on Sunday, and the advice they gave prevented my house from flooding. They were out to repair it first thing Monday morning. I couldn't be happier and I will refer all my friends. Don't hesitate - call them.

Olson's wasn't interested in my full-house repipe job, but they did me the rare courtesy of responding to my Yelp inquiry promptly and professionally. And by ""promptly,"" I mean I got a response, via Yelp, within less than FIVE MINUTES of my submitting the details of my project to them. Time is money, and I don't want to waste anyone's time, so I greatly appreciate when others don't waste mine. So, heck, yeah. I'm giving them a high-five for communication. Nice!

I called Olson plumbing with a stopped up line. The showed up within 45 min to clear the line. The owner Richard came by to check how it was going and introduce himself. No sales pitch from him which was very refreshing. They took care of the problem quickly, very professional and friendly. I would recommend them. Thank you.
