I have been using Olivero Plumbing for years; for good reason......They are good!! They have replaced original small sewer lines under the house, replaced three toilets, cleaned numerous plugged lines all with a friendly, efficient, businesslike manner. They are a small local company who works hard for you, and they can be trusted to get the job done right.

I gave this company 5 stars because they deserve it....simple as that......

Oliveira is a great local source.

I had a minor issue the week before Christmas and all plumbers/ handy men were booked solid. Oliveira Plumbing sent someone the very next morning. They were in and out in 15 minutes. Cleaned up entirely after themselves and sent a bill in the mail.

Was honestly the most hassle free and easy experience I had with a plumber. Although the issue was not minor it was time sensitive and the next day arrival puts them on my rolodex as 5 star.

I call Olivero plumbing whenever I have a plumbing problem. They are quick to respond. If it's an urgent problem, something that may get out of hand, they will work you in that day. The servicemen are on time, professional, quick, and best of all, they don't leave a mess for you. They have never presented a bill to me after the job was done, instead they just bill me. I find that quite refreshing. I am amazed that they are so reasonable with their charges. As long as they are in business, and I am in charge of plumbing problems at two homes, I will call them.

Dave, Julie, Bill, and Vincent are all so helpful and thorough. As a property manager I use Olivero Plumbing for both commercial and residential jobs and they are always quick to respond, neat and thorough. I called in for a small project, a running toilet. I was able to get someone at my home early the next morning. He was friendly, showed up on time and was out in 20 minutes. Very quick and thorough. This was the second time we used them and will continue to call Olivero for our plumbing needs.

Had a small job done yesterday, I was out doing some volunteer work so couldn't be there to talk to the tradesman. Placed a call to Debbie (Reception) politely left my phone number asking the technician to return my call. I even stated the call would be less than 2 minutes. That call was placed about 1:30pm Never did receive a call back. I called back 3 hours later, the 2nd receptionist, not Debbie, barked back at me, said Bill is gone for the day. So, here is my review. If hostility, impatience and attitude is what you seek with a plumber, then this is your place. Rates are normal, high for what you get, and the customer service is terrible.

We had our second hot water pipe leak in 18 months. The house is 25 years and people said it was about time, because of the slab construction. We got two bids and decided on Olivero Plumbing in El Cerrito. Jerry came and gave us a walk through and patiently answered every question my husband had. We decided to reroute all water pipes up into the attic and back down into the walls. Their bid was clear about what they would do and the price was reasonable. The other bid started off warning us that they were expensive but they were good. So we went with Olivero and they were great and we were happy.
They got the job done efficiently and were considerate about our daily living. They opened holes in the walls and ceilings. I was worried about how my house would look when the work was done. The city inspector came and was satisfied. He mentioned Olivero always does good work. Gabe, the subcontracting carpenter, finished the work, and did a super job in patching and painting. There is no sign that we ever had holes in the walls and ceiling. We are happy.

We use Oliver only for one reason: We are currently renting, and our landlord, who we are very good friends with, and has told people who do work on the residence that we are excellent renters. Olivero has been in the community for a long time...a good thing? Or is it?

They office staff is rude, the plumbers are rude...everyone is judgmental, hostile, and unhelpful for no reason...or is there? Olivero has a history with the family who owns the residence we live in, however, we take excellent care of the house...and have paid for things where normally a landlord would.

Olivero - you do not know us, and we are strongly going to tell the landlord we refuse to use your services any longer...the work isn't even that good. Good customer service is lacking, it is unfortunate that a business that has ""served"" the community for so long has lost something over the years. We have never had any decent service from them in the 8 years we have had to use them.

This company has been to my house twice in the last couple of years.

They ""walk the walk"", not just talk the talk.

The last time they were here to install a new garbage disposer and to fix leaky faucets.

They did both of those and found a leak in the line to my dishwasher and fixed it too.

I hightly recommend this company to everyone.
