This company has been to my house twice in the last couple of years.
They ""walk the walk"", not just talk the talk.
The last time they were here to install a new garbage disposer and to fix leaky faucets.
They did both of those and found a leak in the line to my dishwasher and fixed it too.
I hightly recommend this company to everyone.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. We had a huge surge at our house because of a bad electrical connection (thanks PGE) and it fried several of our appliances. One of the most notable was our tankless water heater.
I called Olivero Plumbing and Julie answered the phone and immediately started trying to help me to get things working. When that didn't work, David, the owner came over to check things out. His goal was to do everything to NOT have to get a new water heater. Unfortunately the surge did extensive damage (thanks PGE) and we needed to purchase a new heater.
David and Vincent were out here the next morning and replaced the heater within an hour or so. They were both polite, cleaned up after themselves and walked me through the work they had done.
They will have any future plumbing work that we need and I highly recommend them!

OLIVERO PLUMBING helped immensely.
FERGUSON PLUMBING MADE A MISTAKE on our order and had ordered us the wrong model toilet and made us wait months after taking payment only to find that once the toilet arrived, they had made a mistake. Ferguson told me they'd try to locate the toilet we ordered only to find out that after a whole day they hadn't actually tried because the sales person ""was helping other customers"".
When I first called Olivero Plumbing, a nice lady said she didn't have it and I thanked her and ended the call. But then Olivero's Rep called me back in 30 minutes to let me know she had located one and could have it ready for pickup in two days. Now That's The Kind Of Business That I want to Do Business With! I've never even been to el cerrito! My GC picked it up later that week. Easy!
No one asked me to write this review, but Ferguson made me so upset with their Stupidity and Indifference that I had to make sure I gave props to those who deserve it. Thanks Olivero!

Two weeks ago, I left a message for Olivero Plumbing to get an estimate from them on a plumbing project. I'm still waiting for a response. Who operates a business that way?

They do a good job, but are pretty expensive. They have done some minor work for me, but when the real job came, they were at least $2k more than the other 3 bids. Strange the other were in the same ballpark and they weren't.
Other than price, good.

olivero plumbing is a reputable company. i've had positive experience from them. like everyone said they kept the place clean after they finish the job. funny that all negative comments/reviews all came from men. these men who knows nothing about fixing a clog toilet or leaking shower and faucet.
sometimes we have to speak to people with respect in order to gain respect. just because we are customers doesn't mean we have all the right to sound stern, or rude to the person answering the phone. she is also a human who deserves respect. maybe we should back off and examine ourselves with the way we treat other people.

We have been extremely pleased with Olivero Plumbing over the years. Most recently, they plumbed the kitchen for gas. The job was done in less time for less money than I expected (when does that ever happen!?!). (I got other quotes, just to be sure.) Plus, when the county inspector came by, said inspector was quick to point out all the things that were done over and above code requirements, which is always nice to hear when a long line of gas is run through your home in earthquake country!
After the inspector left, Steve from Olivero was over within 20 minutes to connect the appliance so that it could be used right away, even though it was late on a Friday afternoon.
I was impressed!

Wow! Very bad experience with these guys. Always heard good things about this company but apparently the daughter took over the business and wants to run it into the ground. Made an appointment between 9-11 and she told me that the plumber would call me 20 min. prior. I missed that call and called back within 10 min. No answer. I figured he was on his way so i waited another 10 and called back, no answer. I then called the office and talked to the Daughter. She said the plumber was on another job and would be a few hours, I told her I called him right back and that I really needed my leaky shower and faucet fixed. She had a huge attitude and said it was not her fault that I missed the call. we finally agreed that I would wait for the plumber. I called back after a few hours and asked what the ETA was and she said she would not deal with me and I needed to have my landlord handle it. No I have to wait another week and the landlord is not real happy about it. I will NEVER use this company again. I'm sure there are other company's that ca use the business. This one apparently doesn't need the money that bad.

Came down one morning to find a puddle of water on the laundry floor: the 20 year old water heater had finally failed. Spent a few days researching water heaters, talking to friends and coworkers and showering at the gym. Finally called Olivero, on the recommendation of a coworker. I did read the yelp reviews first; the negative ones did concern me.
On the phone, Julie was a little terse, but very efficient and professional. David came out the following morning to bid the job. He was quick and thorough, and I decided to go with them. He arrived a little before noon the next day, within the promised window, and spent most of the afternoon working with his son, Vince. Not only did he replace the water heater, but he also replaced some of the pipes going to and from the heater, and ran a new line for the pressure valve to the house's exterior. What was a mess of galvanized and copper is now much simpler and all copper.
Finally, at the end, he asked me to test the hot water at all house faucets. I told him two of our hot water faucets were clogged (suspect old, corroded pipes). He took the time to investigate and managed to clear them enough to give us a good, healthy stream of water. Fantastic.
Oh, and they left the place very tidy. We are very satisfied customers.

Olivero has been superb each time they have come to our house. Steve is punctual, good at explaining what is going on, and very patient with questions. I completely trust them in all plumbing decisions. Thank you Olivero!
