I can't praise Ruben highly enough. The work he did was far beyond my expectations. I was coming to grips with the harsh reality that I finally needed to have all of my ancient original galvantized water pipes from 1916 replaced. Ruben and his three-man crew did the job and soooo much more. They did some rerouting of pipes, they removed a ton of absolutely unnecessary pipes from an old laundry room that use to exist--and numerous other things that brought my plumbing situation from the 1900s to 2018. They even snaked all of my drainage pipes for the hell of it! All for the original price that was quoted--which was incredibly reasonable for a three-man-team (they also hired a guy to deal with the messy job of cutting thick-rooted juniper shrubs and digging up a clean strip in the front yard to get to my front yard. So I guess you could say it was a four-man crew). And I could write an entirely new review praising his work ethics but I'll just say he communicated every single chore that needed to be done in detail but in friendly layman's terms. They were always on time and apologized for the slightest inconveniences such as noise or shutting off water for a short period. Great team.

Ruben is professional, on time, and very competent. We had a number of plumbing issues in an older home with non-standard plumbing fixtures. After trying 2 other plumbers that provided unacceptable service and did not get the job done (even though we paid them) Ruben came through; no BS, no problems, and we feel very good about the work. He even fixed the problems that other plumbers created. His rates are reasonable and he did not charge us for additional effort to find unique parts. We highly recommend Ocelot Plumbing.

great and totally reasonably priced plumber. came in for one simple thing and wound up fixing a few other issues we had and still charged us one price. will definitely call them again for future work as other local plumbers not only charged more but never really fixed the problem. i feel like these are the guys you call when all the other people can't do the job.

$140 dollars for a washer to be changed. This is pretty insane. Invoice stated ""Hot side faucet rebuilt"". Not quite, actually this was just a washer replacement. Prices charged are insane.

I am so grateful to Ruben for fixing my clogged pipes. Trying to run a household without using water is so difficult, I was at my wit's end when I finally found Ruben (I had a back up in the main line for over a week while I wasted time with other plumbers who didn't fix the problem). It was a pleasure and honor to have Ruben and his team remove our old 25 plus year old undersized water heater and install a new high efficiency 50 gal water heater as well as reroute the gas line, redo some copper plumbing, add a pressure regulator( we never had one) and run new copper piping to the exterior spigot and install a shut off valve all in 1 day. Rubens' tradesman-ship is bar none the highest quality and timeliness of project completion was a pleasant surprise. He also gave my wife and I some design and plumbing ideas for our mster bathroom remodel. I would highly recommend Ocelot Plumbing for small or large plumbing projects!

We found Ocelot via Yelp when our bathroom sink just stopped draining. Ruben came over, explained everything and pointed out that our toilet was like 20+ years old. He was totally cool with us buying a new toilet and then doing the install.

His team was professional and thorough They were familiar with old house quirks. And didn't mind their supervisor, our fat orange tabby cat who despite us moving regularly chose to lay in the hall and ""help"".

Last night the back water pipe broke in my wife's hand and there was water everywhere. We called Ocelot and within 15 minutes got a call back. Ruben stopped by on his way home from an errand with his wife and turned off our water. He's at our house right now fixing the broken pipe and making sure we have water by the end of the day.

Can't say enough about Ruben and his team...they made it look so easy and did an excellent job of moving the washer dryer down in the basement. And also putting the dishwasher. If you want stuff done to the code and don't want to burn a whole in your pocket, you are in good hands.

I can't say enough nice things about the team at Ocelot Plumbing. Christina in the Ocelot office helped straighten out a scheduling conflict with great attention to detail and consideration for my situation. Better yet, she made sure two plumbers were at my house, bright and early the next morning, ready to fix what turned out to be only a small problem with my kitchen sink.

I've had some good experiences with service providers in the East Bay, but the folks at Ocelot have been easily among the best. Their work was great, their team was fantastic, they were considerate and helpful, and their attention to detail was beyond compare. I highly, highly recommend Ocelot Plumbing!
