I am so grateful to Ruben for fixing my clogged pipes. Trying to run a household without using water is so difficult, I was at my wit's end when I finally found Ruben (I had a back up in the main line for over a week while I wasted time with other plumbers who didn't fix the problem). He is knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, responsible, honest, thorough, and reasonable. That's what you need in a plumber, right?

It was a pleasure and honor to have Ruben and his team remove our old 25 plus year old undersized water heater and install a new high efficiency 50 gal water heater as well as reroute the gas line, redo some copper plumbing, add a pressure regulator( we never had one) and run new copper piping to the exterior spigot and install a shut off valve all in 1 day. Rubens' tradesman-ship is bar none the highest quality and timeliness of project completion was a pleasant surprise. He also gave my wife and I some design and plumbing ideas for our mster bathroom remodel. I would highly recommend Ocelot Plumbing for small or large plumbing projects!

We found Ocelot via Yelp when our bathroom sink just stopped draining. Ruben came over, explained everything and pointed out that our toilet was like 20+ years old. He was totally cool with us buying a new toilet and then doing the install.

His team was professional and thorough They were familiar with old house quirks. And didn't mind their supervisor, our fat orange tabby cat who despite us moving regularly chose to lay in the hall and ""help"".

Last night the back water pipe broke in my wife's hand and there was water everywhere. We called Ocelot and within 15 minutes got a call back. Ruben stopped by on his way home from an errand with his wife and turned off our water. He's at our house right now fixing the broken pipe and making sure we have water by the end of the day.

Can't say enough about Ruben and his team...they made it look so easy and did an excellent job of moving the washer dryer down in the basement. And also putting the dishwasher. If you want stuff done to the code and don't want to burn a whole in your pocket, you are in good hands.

I can't say enough nice things about the team at Ocelot Plumbing. Christina in the Ocelot office helped straighten out a scheduling conflict with great attention to detail and consideration for my situation. Better yet, she made sure two plumbers were at my house, bright and early the next morning, ready to fix what turned out to be only a small problem with my kitchen sink.

I've had some good experiences with service providers in the East Bay, but the folks at Ocelot have been easily among the best. Their work was great, their team was fantastic, they were considerate and helpful, and their attention to detail was beyond compare. I highly, highly recommend Ocelot Plumbing!

Our tenants complained about noises coming from their water heater for some time. We have had several plumbers come to work on that water heater, but in less than half and hour, Rubin diagnosed the problem of too much water pressure going into the water heater. He turned down the valve, lowered the amount of water going into the water heater, and the problem seems to be solved.

I don't think I have ever written a review on yelp before but felt compelled to after meeting Ruben today. Our water heater (from 1991) busted yesterday and we needed someone promptly and at a fair price. We called around to several plumbers and I could tell over the phone that Ruben was the guy.

He came to replace the water heater on time, let me know what he was going to do to improve the set up and gave me some other helpful plumbing tips. He was super friendly and interesting and did a great job. Really stand up guy and I would definitely hire him again. 5 stars for sure!

You need a plumber? You need to call these guys! Our next door neighbor recommended them to us, and we called for a small issue. Atticus came and took care of it quickly and professionally. We decided to have them take care of some other work for us. This time, Ruben, the owner, came. What a NICE guy! He was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to him while he was working. He took care of everything making sure it was done well and right. He highly values the quality of his work. Atticus came in also with another helper, Ocean, and they are also really personable guys who clearly share their boss' work ethic and respect the reputation of his company. This is the best experience I have ever had with a plumber; Ocelot will be our go-to for any plumbing needs we have. Oh, and they don't break the bank either. Ruben is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended! We add our 5 stars!

If you care about such things...working with people who are honest, smart, and interesting. ..In other words, people you trust and enjoy, give Ruben a call. You won't be disappointed! He doesn't charge extra for solving the problem faster or better, or for the money-saving tips. You will not say ""goodbye"" hoping never to see him again. Nor will you wonder if you paid for something you didn't need, or paid more than necessary for something you did. All very important considerations for a penny pincher like me. Keep up the good work, Ruben!
