Plumbing problems are one of the worst things you can encounter as a home owner. One minute everything in your world is fine, then suddenly you are plunged into a realm of deep despair.

You need help and you need it fast. You're thinking, damn, this is going to cost a fortune.

And you have no idea who to call!

Well, I'll tell you who: the team at Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter!

Over the years I've owned my house I've used several different plumbers. Some good, some bad. More bad ones than good ones, truth be told. Some so bad I had to hire a second plumber to fix the first plumber's shoddy work. Some were total ripoffs. It's a damn jungle out there!

A couple years ago I had a leak in a pipe under the concrete slab my house is built on. It required drilling through floor of my kitchen, and through the concrete to repair. A bit of a sticky wicket.

After the first company that I called proved unable to address the situation I called Ocean View. These guys were the proverbial Pros from Dover; they were definitely up to the challenge. It wasn't an easy job. But they got 'er done. I was very happy with their work.

Since that big job, I've had to call them out a couple more times. The most recent was this week. I called them out because in one bathroom the drain in the shower was slow, and in the other bathroom the toilet was always running and I was tired of jiggling the damn handle.

They sent Fredi and his helper to address the problems. I was happy to see Fredi because he had been here before and I know that guy is good! Just like always, the problems were quickly fixed. And at a reasonable price! Not cheap, mind you, but reasonable. Quite fair, I'd say.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter. If you have plumbing issues these are definitely the guys to call. Unlike a lot of other companies, these guys show up when they say they will show up. They get the job done expeditiously and for a reasonable price.

That's why I rate them a solid 5 Star company!

The staff is absolutely amazing. The customer service is outstanding and the guys that come to your house are very professional. I really appreciate that they gave me an honest assessment of what needed to be done. I initially had went with another company to get an estimate to identify the issue and I was quoted $600! I called Ocean view had them come look at the problem and it was a simple $125 rotor rooting issue. If you're lucky enough to get Aaron as your service person, you are in good hands. I highly recommend them and I definitely will be using them in the future.

I have never had an unfortunate surprise like I have had with other plumbing companies. PLEASE avoid the $39/fix guys in the phone book who come out and tell you ""YOUR ISSUE is $500."" Oceanview Plumbing is a family business with great family values. Ruben is the dad and his sons work with him. They are great people.
