Ruben, Thomas, and the entire team are exceptionally professional, honest, timely and skilled. I have called them at least a dozen times for my homes and rental properties. I have never had an unfortunate surprise like I have had with other plumbing companies. PLEASE avoid the $39/fix guys in the phone book who come out and tell you ""YOUR ISSUE is $500."" Oceanview Plumbing is a family business with great family values. Ruben is the dad and his sons work with him. They are great people.

Called them because gas company said we needed a repair on gas water heater and add shut off valve for cooktop. They did the repair on water heater but said the gas shut off valve would require them going thru all the cabinets (making holes) to get to cooktop. That would run $1,000 to 1,300! Really? I had another plumber do it for $200 and he did not need to make any holes in my expensive Thomasville cabinets! Building and safety checked the work and said gas water heater not up to code. They couldn't see that?

Wow, what a difference! I originally called the home warranty (first American) and they sent a plumber from another area because they are not contracted with apparently any from the my area in port hueneme. So, this plumber came and charged me the service call $75 and did not resolve the issue ... the sink clog was still there. I called ocean view plumbing who were recommended by the association manager and they came a fix the problem! Tony was very courteous and professional knew exactly what the problem was and fix it!!!! Thank you!

Second time I've used Oceanview... they're prompt and didn't try to oversell us on anything. Their guy explained everything and gave us options. I had them replace the facuet in one of our showers. Super clean install and a reasonable price.

ocean view was called in to install a fiberglass tub/shower enclosure and a shower enclosure on a remodel i was over seeing.they were recommended and while I'm sure they are competent plumbers I think this job was out of their skillset. A bathroom vanity was scratched pretty badly, both fiberglass units were poorly installed with seams misaligned/ poorly secured and a pea sized hole (damage ) in one tub wall. I think they need to stick to the plumbing basics and work on quality control.
