OC Leak Detection & Water Damage Remediation

We had water show up in the floor and a wall of my sons' room during a rainstorm. OC came out and determined it to be roof leak. We opened a claim based upon that finding. The insurance inspector couldn't find a roof leak so they denied the claim. Meanwhile the room smelled like mold and we had so have our 2 sons sleep on their sister's floor. We hired a public adjuster. After removing roof tarp, hosing the roof heavily, and scouring the attic, he could find no leak. A roofer came and concluded the same. We had OC come back out. This time, they determined that there was a leak from a faulty toilet wax ring (but also asserted that roof leak was still accurate.) After 5 months of one bed/ 1 bath being out of commission, living in a moldy house, $$$ spent on various professionals, I was forced to withdraw my claim (still on my policy record). I am now fixing/repairing the damage on my own as we don't have the one to wait for another """"accurate"""" claim to get processed. Save your time & money and call someone else.

From the moment I met Dana I knew he was incredibly knowledgeable, hard working, and very thorough with his work. I have been dealing with unknown leaks that caused a significant amount of mold. I had a different company come out first and they could not identify where the water was coming from. Dana identified the leaks and repaired them in two days. He went WAY above and beyond to fix leaks and mold. His actual work is immaculate. I would not only like to thank God, but also Jesus for this wonderful, professional man named Chris who came to my rescue! I've been hearing a dripping noise in my bathroom for weeks. Dreading the worst, I took a chance and called OC Leak Detection. Chris was super sweet and happened to have some flexibility in between jobs, so he was able to come out the same day. He inspected the entire house--inside and out, with his specialized acoustic equipment. This man has some Voodoo magic in him! With sharp senses and the instincts of a panther stalking its prey, he carefully investigated the source of the dripping and pointed out some areas to watch for, but ultimately determined that no water damage was occurring. I can now sleep easier knowing that OC Leak Detection combed through this house and gave it a clean bill of health. Should any future leaks occur, I'm specifically requesting Chris again.

I can not recommend this company. We paid $285 for an estimate for damage from a leaking roof. the tech was here for about 15 minutes max, and the written estimate was a one line estimate with no detail. I have reached out to them to ask for a refund, and they initially responded by email, but no further responses to my request. We went with another company that did not charge for an estimate. They also noted that lead paint and asbestos testing were required due to the age of our house; OC leak did not mention that testing. Disappointed.

No need look further! I wish could write this earlier. We called Chris 3 months ago, he is the best person for this. I had most amazing experience for such professional performance. We had leak for quite some time and Chris did fantastic job , fast, accurate, least cost. I would recommend him and company to everyone. Give him 10 Star!

I can't say enough about this company and the work that they do. I especially want to thank Chris for being so thorough and patient as he tried to detect the source of a leak, and then double- and triple-checked to make sure everything was sealed. They do their best to minimize the damage to the drywall and are considerate. They also work with you on insurance matters to help with the process. Chris is also dog friendly! I would highly recommend OC Leak Detection if you are dealing with a water leak. These leaks are such a headache and quite stressful, so it helps to have someone come in whom you trust.

One of the plumbing lines into my pool did have a leak that was not detected by this company. That was pretty much the only thing I hired them for, won't use them again.
