Company Overview

We are a licensed and insured 4th generation family-owned plumbing, heating, and fire protection service company founded in 1985. We provide home, corporate, organizational, and factory tasks, covering simple jobs to full installations, sewer maintenance, water heaters and meters, propane, steam and water leaks, back flow device setups and inspections.

My late grandfather, Louis, founded the business with my late grandmother, Ida, in their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1926. My late father, Irwin, would return from school, don his work attire, and work alongside my grandfather. In 1961, he obtained his license. At 16, I, Jay Friedman, started working with my father during the summer. At 19, I began working full-time, obtained my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and assumed control of the company in 1987. I am now accompanied by my son, Brandon, who is preparing to be the fourth generation Master Plumber. Our goal is to make your plumbing visions come true!

I was born in 1963 and entered the family business full-time at the age of 19. After graduating from The Mechanics Institute in 1983, I pursued further training at Plumbers Local 1, graduating in the top 4 of my class in 1988. I started a third program to get ready for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I earned in 1992. I received my NYC Fire Suppression License in 1995. Following the passing of my late father, Irwin Friedman, in 1998, I ran the business on my own until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, came on board to prepare for the fourth generation.
