Company Overview

We are a licensed and insured 4th generation family-operated plumbing, heating, and fire protection service company established in 1985. We handle domestic, corporate, organizational, and industrial jobs, including minor tasks to entire build-outs, drain cleaning, water heaters and gauges, propane, steam and leak detection, backflow device installations and inspections.

The business was started in 1926 by my late grandfather, Louis, alongside my late grandmother, Ida, from their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. My late father, Irwin, would come home from school, change into his work clothes, and assist my grandfather. In 1961, he obtained his license. I started working alongside my father at the age of 16 during summer breaks. At 19, I began working full-time, obtained my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and assumed control of the company in 1987. I am now accompanied by my son, Brandon, who is preparing to be the fourth generation Master Plumber. Our goal is to make your plumbing visions come true!

I was born in 1963 and entered the family business full-time at the age of 19. After graduating from The Mechanics Institute in 1983, I pursued further training at Plumbers Local 1, graduating in the top 4 of my class in 1988. I started a third program to get ready for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I earned in 1992. I also obtained my NYC Fire Suppression License in 1995. After my late father, Irwin Friedman, passed away in 1998, I managed the business independently until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, joined me to prepare for the fourth generation.
