Company Overview

As a licensed and protected 4th generation family-operated plumbing, heating, and fire protection service company, we have been serving our community since 1985. We provide residential, commercial, institutional, and factory projects, ranging from small tasks to full projects, sewer maintenance, water heaters and measurement devices, natural gas, heating and water leaks, back flow device installations and evaluations.

In 1926, my late grandfather, Louis, and my late grandmother, Ida, started the business from their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. My late father, Irwin, would return from school, don his work attire, and work alongside my grandfather. He earned his license in 1961. I, Jay Friedman, began working with my father during summers at 16. I transitioned to full-time work at 19, received my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and took over the company in 1987. Now, I am joined by my son, Brandon, who is training to become the 4th generation Master Plumber. We strive to make your plumbing aspirations a reality!

Born in 1963, I joined the family business full-time at 19. I graduated from The Mechanics Institute in 1983 and continued my education at Plumbers Local 1, where I finished in the top 4 of my class in 1988. Next, I attended a third school to prepare for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I received in 1992. I received my NYC Fire Suppression License in 1995. After my late father, Irwin Friedman, passed away in 1998, I managed the business independently until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, joined me to prepare for the fourth generation.
