Company Overview

As a licensed and insured fourth generation family-operated plumbing, heating, and fire protection solutions company, we have been serving our community since 1985. We provide domestic, business, educational, and industrial projects, including simple tasks to complete projects, sewer cleaning, water heaters and gauges, natural gas, steam and water leaks, back flow device setups and testing.

My late grandfather, Louis, founded the business with my late grandmother, Ida, in their home in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn in 1926. After school, my late father, Irwin, would put on his work clothes and help my grandfather. He received his plumbing license in 1961. I, Jay Friedman, began working with my father during summers at 16. At 19, I began working full-time, obtained my Oasis Plumbers license at 24, and assumed control of the company in 1987. I am now accompanied by my son, Brandon, who is preparing to be the fourth generation Master Plumber. We strive to make your plumbing aspirations a reality!

I was born in 1963 and entered the family business full-time at the age of 19. I completed my studies at The Mechanics Institute in 1983 and then attended Plumbers Local 1, where I graduated among the top 4 in 1988. I then enrolled in a third school to prepare for my NYC Master Plumbers License, which I obtained in 1992. I also obtained my NYC Fire Suppression License in 1995. After my late father, Irwin Friedman, passed away in 1998, I managed the business independently until 2012, when my son, Brandon Friedman, joined me to prepare for the fourth generation.
