SUPER SUPER IMPRESSED....

So - we had a leak from a shower that was going through the floor and into the roof on the room below.

We got 3 quotes from various plumbers.

Oscar was the only one who suggested making a small hole first in the wall and using a camera to see the damage. Ever other plumber wanted to open the wall straight away.

Oscar was correct - the damage could be fixed without having to spend hundreds and open the wall.

Leak fixed - thanks to super Oscar and his amazing work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was so impressed by Oscar's Yelp reviews that I called him. He has worked for us three times so far and none of the praise has been exaggerated. He always answers his calls personally and immediately and has been amazing about making time for us. His service is first rate and he is extremely reasonable in his rates. Recently, we had a dripping shower problem and he told us that to completely fix it we needed to replace the entire shower, but to help us out he invented a fix for a very reasonable price that will keep it going for a long time. With a stopped up sink, this wasn't an emergency but I called Oscar and he was able to come that afternoon. Fixed the sink, diagnosed a faucet problem and was reasonably priced. He's going to call us when he gets the part needed for the leaking faucet.

If I could give 10 stars I would. I am an avid yelper but this one deserves extra praise. Plumbers have the reputation for being dishonest and overchargers so instead of asking for recommendations from friends I decided to go on yelp. Oscar has the highest rating and they all seemed legit so I said what the heck lets do it. Oscar responded to my call promptly, showed up at the agreed upon time and gave me a price range for the job which was replacing 3 shower trims that were 35 years old and difficult to replace. Even though the job ended up being much more difficult than he originally thought he didn't complain once, he cheerfully completed the job with patience and smiles and in the end charged me the lowest price he quoted. Not once did he try to ask for more money or do anything shady. If there's one honest plumber anywhere it's Oscar. I wish there were more people like him. Cool guy too.

Oscar came to my apartment at the agreed upon time. He came prepared and even used shoe booties. He was very professional, knowledgeable and explained every step with simple, non-plumber language. Unfortunately he was unable to clear the clog in my kitchen sink but it wasn't for lack of trying. He explained the next step to me and quoted how much the work would cost. Oscar is courteous, prompt, professional and he really knows what he's doing. He has integrity and is very nice.

I had him fix a valve under my kitchen sink so it was up to code for a dishwasher install and also install a new faucet kit in an upstairs bathroom.

He quoted me a price and although the faucet kit ended up being problematic because a pipe ended up needing replacing he didn't charge me more than the quoted price.

I highly recommend him and I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Excellent plumber, total professional, reasonable and very nice. Based on good reviews we called him for a second opinion after another plumber lied to up-sell us on an extensive/expensive fix that made no sense. VERY glad to have called Oscar because he had a simple solution and executed it easily. He's the first one I'll call from now on.
