Paul sowed up right on time in the middle of the snow storm to fix our leaking pipe in our bathroom. He was professional and fixed the problem quickly. We will definitely use these guys if the future.

Huge shoutout to Ivan and North Star for coming through in the clutch in the snow! My furnace was blowing cold air and cycling off every few minutes. I called at 8am, and he was out to my house same day within two hours! Ivan was very courteous and professional when explaining everything he was doing!

Pros: They answer their phone! (Huge up here on the mountains in Crestline where nearly every plumber is a flake). Arrived early, really friendly and professional plumber answered call.

Cons: A little expensive compared to other plumbers (which is why 4 the stars). I have a good idea about plumbing rates after owning multiple houses and would definitely place them on the higher end.

However I think the pros outweigh the cons here since most plumbers on the mountain will give you the runaround and waste your time and you will have to chase them around to get service, so I would recommend. Sometimes reliability is everything.

Recently had some work done on my vintage 1950s Coleman wall heaters and they gave exceptional service! They solved the problems I was having, and although it took a few trips, they definitely are committed to getting the work done. All the workers that I met with were very friendly, and their customer service team is responsive and attentive. They come on time every time, and that alone is truly a service that I'm willing to pay top dollar for! They stay in communication with you in regards to your appointment and window time-frames. Each visit they arrived at the top of the window time-frame, which was great. They take their time with trying to figure out and work on your issues to make sure the work is done properly. I highly recommend this company for heating services in the mountain area. They are professional, attentive, and will get the job done!

I Called Northstar out to work on my furnace Tim the service technician came out he was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person he was quick to identify what needed to be done resolve your issues and now my house is nice and warm I appreciate Northstar and Tim Burk they're the best I highly recommend them and I'll let all my family and friends know who do use up on the hill.

Northstar was very good to deal with from start to finish. Communication was great. They turned up promptly and the technician took his time doing a safety check of my two furnaces. He was patient and explained the system.

I would not refer this company. We schedule a heater service on Tuesday and no one showed up during the window provided. They offered us another slot on Saturday which required us to leave our mountain home and return to the San Gabriel Valley. We returned early Saturday morning and AGAIN no one showed up. I called multiple times and was told there was a project delay, then the tech need to go get parts and finally, 30 minutes after my quoted widow was quoted, ""the tech went to the wrong address and is 15 minutes away"". How many times does a customer have to call before 15 minutes turns into an hour. Not cool and not honest.

They are very responsive but I don't understand their business idea. It's advertised as 39.95 for diagnostics but if you own the property and it's rented out it's 99$. Absolutely nonsense..

North Star is awesome! Jesus and Paul were super efficient in disassembling our old water heater and installing the new one. The space was super small and they had to move our dryer out of the way as well. We just bought our first home and really appreciated them coming out and offering their expertise. Jesus noticed that I was military and offered a discount as well! I am super impressed with North Star and will continue to use them in the future when we re-do our heating as well!
