Absolutely the BEST air conditioning service we have EVER had in our 24 years of living in the Tampa Bay area! Thank you Brian Sr. for a great initial contact to see if we would be utilizing the services of Northside for a new A/C install because our older unit had lived out and beyond its warranty. Brian knows his air conditioning facts and comes across in an honest and direct manner. We felt confident we were getting not only a fair price for a company that will be around forever in order to provide us peace of mind for future A/C needs. We have experienced other company installations, and this was by far the BEST. The crew of Brian Jr., Jake, and Ethan were so polite, so kind, and these guys know their stuff. We felt we were in capable hands the entire day. We liked them so much that we bought them pizza for lunch and shared a little conversation as the day rolled along. Our new unit is quiet, efficient, and cools better than the TRANE we had before (we went with Daikin), and we even had them place surge protectors on both of our units (an existing one and the new one). The young man in the office is named Walker I believe, and he is super-efficient and nice in handling all of the scheduling (from installation to inspection). I can't say enough GREAT things about Northside Services.

If you are researching these guys, please make sure to read the """"not recommended"""" reviews as well. Yelp has a bad habit of burying good and honest reviews when a company chooses not to purchase the Yelp ad services. Very pleased with the courtesy and efficiency of these young men who installed our new AC unit. Quick, efficient and clean. The previous unit had been installed with quite a lot of shortcuts. The men from Northside cleaned all of that up and installed the new unit paying attention to the engineering of the space. My experience since I have been in Florida, is that, most services like this tend to look for the fastest, easiest way of repairing/installing such equipment. Northside paid attention to the smallest details. And for reference, I worked as a member of the Local 26 IBEW 30 years ago. Now, let's see how fast Yelp buries this review.

Northside Services We renovated a 1924 house all of the plumbing had to be updated, we interviewed several companies and all seemed to have an excuse as to why they couldn't do the job, my take was they just didn't have the experience with extremely old homes, were lazy and just didn't want to do the work. But Jason (Northside) had no problem with the amount of work it would entail and it was a lot, he told us exactly what had to be done and what he'd probably find during the process. Everything Jason told us about our old plumbing was true and he completed the job with no problems. We had so many problems with other contractors working on the home and with inspections, but never with plumbing all our inspections passed the first time. I highly recommend Northside Services ask for Jason if you have plumbing needs. He's very professional and knowledgeable, he's a great guy to work with we've been very happy with all the plumbing. Please don't be fooled by companies that claim they are faith-based some of the worst perpetrators hide behind God, this company is no exception. My air was running perfectly cold I called these because I have a dust issue and I wanted information about a product they have called aeroseal Mike Langer came into my home, I trust these people to come into my home to help me, he went up into the attic where the Handler is I have no idea what he did, but myair is no longer working it's not blowing out cold air anymore. I noticed it about an hour after he left. I have surgery coming up next week... this had added to my anxiety .. I cannot come home from the hospital to a warm house. I spoke with Christine the manager who supposed to send me pictures of what this man took in my attic.. 4 days later she has not sent me anything... he was supposed to send me the pictures as well of course he has not sent anything either. From this point I will go to the media because I read in another review this has happened to someone else it may or may not make a difference because I'm just one person but I encourage anyone that has has issues with this company to post we have to put a stop to dishonest service we have to put a stop to trusting people to come into our home and then take total advantage of us. Is such a feeling of helplessness when someone takes advantage of you you feel like there's nothing you can do but there is we can get the word out and stop these fraudulent dishonest criminals. Christine said to let them come back and see what happened but why would I let these people back into my home again. Remember I had a dust issue I didn't call them about air conditioning problems when Mike came downstairs that's all he discuss how I really needed to change my AC Handler and how it will probably go out on me in a year and how they have a good Finance situation where some people pay as little as $80 a month all this information he gave me about an air conditioner Handler unit .....he gave me nothing about my dust issue which is why I called and then all of a sudden my air conditioner is not working what's wrong with this picture. Everyday I walk to my home I'm frustrated it's so unfair but one thing for sure, the God I serve teaches us that you reap what you sow... Northside will not survive deceiving people this is going to be a short-lived company... they're probably already suffering financially.... it will get worse before it gets better God don't like ugly! I had to give a star rating in order for my comments to be posted so that's why there's one star they deserve a minus zero

We hired Northside to replace the heat pump and air handler in our house in Hudson FL. The old 40 year old air handler up in the attic was evidently set in the attic before the roof went on! the installers , Tony and Caleb were great! They had to cut the old air handler in 3 sections to get it out of that attic. Also had to take apart and reassemble the new Air handler in the attic. All this on a unusually hot February day! They stayed till 8pm to get the job done, we greatly appreciated it because my wife and I had plans the next day and glad they stayed and got the job done in one day. The following two days we ran the AC hard and it worked great! ( mainly because the central AC has not worked in the house for two years and we were soaking it up!) They were very fair with the price considering the amount of work they had to do. They were very conscientious of the local codes and installed everything by the book. This is something that you need to take into account when you hire a profession company to work in your home, even though they may have not been the cheapest, as the saying goes, """"you get what you pay for"""" is very true when you hire a professional company like this. You can hire a less expensive company that works out of a old S10 who will overlook things like the permit, (good luck when it comes time to sell the house) , they will not do the installation properly, no one will answer the phone when the unit breaks in august after the 70th 90 degree day of the year. Keep all this in mind when hiring people to work for you, Especially AC companies in Florida of all places where AC is almost as critical as oxygen. I would highly recommend Northside for all of your HVAC needs.

No show - no call - do not waste your time with this company. Poor customer service at every step. This company was supposed to install a water heater on Saturday morning. My husband called them on Friday to confirm the appt and was told they would be out between 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. We waited all morning for them to arrive and they did not show. When my husband called the plumber, he said the wrong model was sent and that a manager had called to notify us that the install would not be happening. That's a lie! There was no call to his phone from this company. Had they had the decency to notify us, we would have understood. Their plumber said he would re-order but it would be another 10 days. Today, Monday, 2/12/18, my husband called to cancel their service. They've proven their undependable. Their receptionist asked if he wanted to speak with a manager and he said he did. After holding for 8 minutes with no manager answering the call, he told the receptionist he was done. We looked at their reviews and thought they provided good customer service but our experience shows that to be inaccurate. It's worth it to pay more for a company that honors their commitment and communicates with their clients.

I am very satisfied with Northside Services, in particular, Brian, who came to service my HVAC unit. He was efficient, professional, courteous and personable. He took the time to explain the workings of the unit and the maintenance I should be doing, which I greatly appreciated. When I asked about measures to cut down on the dust in my house, Brian was very knowledgeable and presented me with various options and did not try to push me or """"upsell"""" me in any way. He is an asset to the company.

Northside air conditioning has just put a new unit in our home. From the very beginning when Mike came out to check our old unit he couldn't have been more professional and nice the two young men that came yesterday to put in our new unit Amauri and Austin were extremely professional nice and courteous from the moment they walked until the moment they left. I've had plenty of work done in my lifetime in my home and have never had such a great experience from the beginning to the end. Northside I'm not surprised you have so many stars. I will certainly recommend you to all my friends thank you for making my house more comfortable
