North County Plumbing is beyond the worst company in regards to quality of work, customer service and honesty. I don't know where to start! We had two running toilets, a leaky kitchen sink and a leaky tub faucet. One plumber simply showed up at our home after our initial call - no appointment was ever set. Upon his arrival he mentioned this wasn't his normal scope of work - he normally runs the PVC pipes. He didn't fix anything - he actually made one toilet worse. We were told a part had to be ordered for the tub repair. I called back the next day and mentioned to the owner about the unfixed items and his reply was, ""Well, people make mistakes!"" A different plumber arrived a few days later (again, no appointment was set - he simply showed up) and attempted to make the repairs. He fixed one running toilet and the remaining issues were not fixed. After two weeks, I called to follow up on the repairs and was asked by Paul (the owner), ""You're barely following up now?"" I told him as the customer, it's terrible that I am the one having to do the follow up - a quality company would actually be following up with the customer! I was told the tub leak would cost $750 - $800. I felt that price was ridiculously high and asked for a written quote; as expected they would not place that price in writing. I am a very patient and reasonable person, but was highly disappointed by their poor workmanship, lack of follow up (if a professional says they'll call you back - you expect a call back) and their rudeness.

we had a terrible experience with this company. We were out of the area and there was a leak that soaked the kitchen. They said it was a pin hole leak in the wall so the opened the dry wall and replaced a section of pipe. They proceeded to tell me the house needed to have all new piping because the leak was still happening. I drove to the house and found the water heater was leaking from the bottom in the same area they replaced the pipe. I used a camera to inspect the inside of the wall were they did the work and there was no evidence of water damage from a spraying pinhole. We changed the water heater and the problem was fixed. When I called to complain the owner quickly said the pipe was bad, I have to pay him and that he would sue me. I never said I wouldn't pay but he was ready with this response too naturally. He then proceeded to tell me I said things I never did.

I've found out that I was not unique. Unless there are no other options I would pick a different plumber.

A young man by the name of Jessie was just here to snake our bathroom sink here in Cambria. He was so professional and extremely polite and did a quick and completely thorough job. Our sink now works beautifully, and he even explained what caused the clog and how to avoid that in the future. Going to use the company again - and ask for Jessie! Highly recommend.

I had a good experience with NCP a few years ago, so when I had a few pipe issues I gave them a call. The plumber that showed up (Dave I think), did not appear to know what he was doing. He kept having to text pictures of stuff and text his boss (Paul I think, the owner). He told me that he couldn't quote the job because he didn't know how long it would take so he would have to charge for time + parts. I agreed, because of my previous experience. Dave spent over 5 hours driving around town trying to find the pipes to fix a leak at the well. When he finally did return and fixed the leak, he broke another pipe and had to drive around to get the parts to fix that. He charged for his time!

The other issue was a frozen handle on our laundry room sink faucet. He said that the faucet would need to be replace. He said that I would need to go buy another faucet before he could fix it. I asked him what kind of faucet to look for and he wasn't sure.

After the day (and charging my card) I called Paul to complain about the service. He agreed with me that it didn't sound right that I be charged for all this and that he would talk to Dave and get back to me. I called him a week later after I didn't hear from him. Now Paul tells me that the $585 charge was accurate. I was irate, but asked if he could at least tell me what faucet I needed to buy. He said he would get back to me after he talked to Dave. He didn't. A couple weeks later I noticed that the pipe at the well that Dave had ""fixed"" was leaking again. I called Paul and he was no help once again. I will be disputing my credit card charge with my bank.

I then called 4 G's plumbing. They came out and fixed the leak at the well (correctly this time). They also fixed the laundry room sink without having to buy a new one. They charged only $180!

There should be a 6/5 option for going above and beyond! I have been dealing with a bathtub that would not drain no matter what I tried (plunger, 2 foot long hair snare, etc.). I called Paul on Monday, knowing that I literally have 10 people coming to visit over the weekend and was panicking about my puddle. I couldn't be home from work to meet them there/let them in. Before lunchtime, Paul had sent Danny to my workplace to pick up my house key, and an hour later, I got a text from Danny showing me what all he pulled out from the depths (nasty!) and saying it was good to go, and he left my key in the safe spot I requested on his way out. I can't believe how quick, efficient, and trustworthy they are. They are the kind of people you can trust to be in your home without supervision, and that means so much given that I work during normal contractor's ""business hours"". Paul and Danny are so great, and I will use them again when/if the need arises!

I had just moved into my new residence, the 1st or 2nd evening when i became aware that water was pouring out of the corner of the house. North County Plumbing returned my call within 20 minutes, sent a repairman out in less than 2 hours, and fixed the problem without gouging me on price. I'll do business with them any time and highly recommend them.
I've had other companies not only milk a job, but have to be instructed on how to do it right. I'm a single woman - go figure.

Paul was very prompt and professional. He was one of the few plumbers that picked up his phone after 5 pm on a Friday afternoon. I was having sprinkler issues with a couple geysers spouting in the front yard and the main sprinkler control leaking significantly. He was kind and friendly. I felt instantly that I could trust him. He stuck it out until the problem was resolved as matters did get complicated. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone in need of plumbing work.

Called on Sunday to schedule repair for a ruptured main. Appointment was for 8.30-9.00 on Monday. On Monday, waited till 9, no show. Called Paul. He said he did not have a appointment for me. Explained that I had called on Sunday. Paul said that the information was not passed on to him but that he would send someone out in a few minutes. 2 hours and 2 phone call later he says stop calling him he's doing his best.

Lousy way to run a business. Wasted a morning.
