A few weeks ago we came home from a weekend trip to a downstairs bathroom and kitchenette backed up with sewage water. We called around to at least 5 emergency plumbers (of course it had to happen after normal business hours) and North County Plumbing was the ONLY company to call us back! They immediately scored brownie points for that.... luckily they were also damn good at their jobs. Sky showed up at the house around 9:30pm (about 1.5 hours after we called - coming from Paso to Morro Bay - at night) he took a look at the pool of water and started looking around the house for a cleanout. Unfortunately, living in a house built in the 70s, we were unable to find an exterior cleanout anywhere for him to be able to snake the drain... That didn't stop Sky ---- he noticed some drywall in the garage that could easily be removed which would allow access to the backside of the bathroom plumbing. He cut a 2' vertical section of the pipe and snaked away while we crossed our fingers and hoped to see water start going back down the shower and kitchen drains. After some time, and no water movement, he started retracting the snake since he was already at 100'+. After a few more minutes, all the water started disappearing and the snake (and Sky) saved the day! We were expecting an outrageous bill considering it was late (wrapped up around 11:30pm) but were surprised at how reasonable it was. Sky also helped out the following morning sending some water damage remediation guys our way who have also been great to work with. Although our downstairs is still ""under construction"" thanks to a soft blockage... we are so thankful North County Plumbing were the ones to return our emergency call!!!! Hands down going to use them for all future plumbing work around the house. THANK YOU!!!

I broke a copper water pipe and the owner charged me $200 to solder a new one after wasting time playing with my dog and stalling. This was a 20 minute job because I had already cut out the dry wall around the break. The only reason I called him was because he had been my neighbor. I will never make that mistake again!

We are tenants and we had a clogged sink that needed immediate attention. We called and got an appointment the same day, which was very helpful. They were on time, efficient, friendly, and explained what went wrong and what we were being charged for, which was very helpful for someone who was dealing with this kind of problem for the first time. I want to thank the owner of North County Plumbing. I explained my situation as a renter after having 5 other plumbing companies come and take advantage of my landlord and not fix my problem, I decided to call NCP. I expressed that I am a painting contractor and I was appalled at the ""services"" these prior contractors ""provided"". It had been 2 months with raw sewage backing up the plumbing and pouring out 5' from my front door and daughters bedroom window. The owner said he would personally supervise the job and and use the best technology available. Well, he is a man of his word. He was onsite and professional and left the jobsite cleaner than when they arrived. They not only fixed my plumbing, they made it a more durable system than before. I can't say enough great things about North county/SLO County Plumbing. I have rental property in SLO and live in Houston, TX. I called NC Plumbing to get an estimate to redo all the plumbing lines under the house and in the walls. I received a very competitive quote and more importantly, they worked the job around my scheduled plans to be at the home. They arrived w/4 workers, including the owner himself. In three days they knocked out all the plumbing, moved my hot water heater outside and did a lot of minor requests at no charge. Very wonderful men w/great work ethic. I trusted them with the key to my home. When the job was complete, they left the house immaculate. Repaired all walls where you could not even tell they had cut them open. I am sure I will be contacting them to do other work besides plumbing. I highly recommend North County/SLO Counjty Plumbing. Owner, Paul, is the BEST!!

I've called North County Plumbing twice now, for two separate jobs! Dino and Sky were awesome! Friendly and informative. They figured out what was needed and jumped right into the job!! No wasting time! There is no ""Diagnostic Charge"" like Ben Franklin Plumbing has! They (Ben Franklin) charge $39 just to come to your front door!! North County Plumbing charged me a very reasonable price for big jobs! I was so impressed with what I paid! It was much less than I figured I would be billed! I highly recommend this outfit!! The service was terrible! They didn't show up on the day of, so we had to reschedule. They sent one man for a 2 man job to replace our water heater. Then he put a hole in the wall taking out the old water heater, and left a panel off the wall. When I called and explained the damage he had caused they said they would send someone out to fix it and they never did! Not to mention they were overpriced. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy! I had to put one star to post this, but they don't even deserve that!
