Had a weekend emergency - no water and no obvious cause as we are on our own ranch well system with many yards of possibly blocked pipes underground in many directions. We called North County and was immediately impressed with the caliber and knowledge of the man who answered the phone, Mike. Where average residential plumbers would be scratching their heads, Mike came out the same day and identified the location of the blockage and figured out how to solve the problem without having to tear up our patio. Message to the owners: Whatever you are paying Mike, it isn't enough! ;-)

Needed a faucet replaced. Paul said plumber would come ""after lunch"" but it ended up being after 5pm. Plumber Doug diagnosed problem & returned following afternoon with supplies. Job completed within an hour. Doug was very friendly and answered all our questions. No more leaks under the kitchen sink so we're happy.

Unfortunately, calling a plumber is not cheap. $90 just to show up & diagnose situation. But that seems to be the going rate around here so we'd recommend North County Plumbing again because Paul and Doug seem honest and knowledgeable and we're satisfied with Doug's completed work.

It was a bit of a struggle to get these guys to show up when they said they would. But very friendly service. The prices are high. It cost me $200 to have a pipe dropped 4"". I think I was charged for the hour of driving to Lowes or something to obtain black pipe since apparently they don't keep any on the truck.

I called, made an appointment, and they no-called/no-showed. He sounded nice enough on the phone, but not showing up and not calling to reschedule is poor practice.

Not dependable. They don't show up when they say they will. they left my septic tank uncovered for 6 days... very unsafe! Had to call another company to finish the job, as I could not get a firm time from them as to when they would show back up.

I obtained this plum. Sev. @ this time last yr. was horrible! Ended up no hot H2o for 2 weeks, gas co. Shut down installed unit for gas leak! Sick from exposure, would not honor advertised coupon. While Paul said he would make good, never did! I would not use co. From site, can't believe reviews of glowing service!

Started calling plumbers around @130 pm. My toilet was backing into my tub and subsequently my kitchen sinks. First plumber I called couldn't get someone out until Wed, not good enough. Called North County Plumbing & Drain Cleaning. Paul (owner) answered; got to the point, gave me a rough estimate and had someone out within the hour. Problem fixed before 4 pm and actual cost in the same ball park as the initial quote. Mike, the technician, had to do a little more work to get to the plug up since I didn't know where the drain-off is. Highly recommend to anyone in need of professional, fast and courteous service!

As life has it, on a holiday weekend, when all other plumbers were closed...our drains backed up into the showers and tubs. In sum, the main drain was shot. Paul and team were the only plumbers to say they could come out that same day. And they knew exactly how to identify and tackle the problem...we had roots in our main drain. Because of Paul and team, my mom and I didn't have to rent a hotel room. Because of Paul and team, the house didn't flood. What could have been an even bigger problem, was addressed immediately. These guys are reliable, knowledgable and attentive. We are grateful to have found them!

I was very unhappy with North County Plumbing and will never use them again. I do not recommend them at all. They picked up a job through my home warranty program, agreed on a price with warranty company to repair my water heater. According to the warranty company, NCP changed and increased the agreed upon price and when the warranty company refused to pay price increase, NCP refused to complete the job. They also had poor communication with me while I was waiting for them to come out to check my water heater. Meanwhile, I am the paying customer caught in the middle of someone else's price dispute which I had to take care of while I was at work and am now still without a working water heater for a week. REALLY NOT HAPPY! And NCP didn't even care enough to call and apologize for the inconvenience.
