Very good and hard working people. I totally recommend them.
They are excellent at cleaning clogged drains. Go for it

I've used these guys twice in the past 60 days. Both times I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough yet efficient Ramon was. He helped me out on both a drain cleaning and washer/dryer repair. They're very different tasks but he knew exactly what to do; I'm impressed. Thanks again NCP.

We called NCP as we were disappointed with another plumbing business in our area. We are delighted to report that this is a professional business: they are polite, on time and quoted us a reasonable price. Brandon really know his busisness and took the coupon I had with no hesitation. We recommend them to you.

I paid $475 to have a hot water heater replaced that was under warranty! It took 3 hours. After checking with other plumbers, this cost was excessive and a rip off. Since the original water heater was installed by them, I thought the warranty was only through them, and wasn't told otherwise! Next time I'll ask more questions. Call another plumber for your needs.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I called and spoke with Al regarding a possible sewer issue on 1/7/14. He indicated that he would come out the next day (1/8/14) or have someone knowledgeable come if he couldn't. He indicated that they would be there within a two hour window (8 to 10 a.m.). I had to take time off from work to make sure I would be there during the time of the scheduled appointment. Well, the 8 to 10 a.m. window came and went, no one had shown up or called so I called their office and was told that Al, who scheduled the appointment with me, was supposed to call me the night before to reschedule b/c they had some emergency they had been called out to. I asked if another technician would be coming out and I was told that they were all working that same emergency from the night before. I understand things come up but at least have the courtesy to call and let people know. I was very upset since I took time off of work to be there and NO ONE bothered to call and let me know. I explained to receptionist that this was unacceptable and poor customer service. She apologized and offered me a coupon and/or gift card. She indicated that Al would be calling me and to date I haven't received a phone call.

Showed up late. It took two""plumbers"" to flush my toilet and suggest a reset for $250. They were unable to honor their discount or alert me they were going to be late. HORRIBLE- please avoid their mailer discounts and find a reliable service because I was robbed by these incompetents! I should have read these reviews because others were also robbed by this unbelieveable disreputable outfit!

Very expensive & don't trust the price bid.
Not a happy experience - altho' the work my have been very good - I'm not a plumber & I can't tell. First, the salesman/plumber did not want to honor the coupon. Then he agreed to do that and the first thing he did next was to cut a pipe, tell me he had cut off an outside spigot and wanted $125 to repair it. He agreed he should have seen that it would need that extra work ahead of time, but offered to compromise by quitting the job there and then - leaving me with no water - if I did not want to pay the extra $125.
I have lived 32 years in Texas before coming to California & in Texas I have NEVER been squeezed like that - even when the job involved more hidden work than expected.
Welcome to California - I suppose - and you are welcome to North County Plumbing.

Hello fellow yelpers!
First let me say that I used North County Plumbing without first checking yelp reviews, and thank goodness because the past couple reviews DO NOT represent this company in the way I feel they should. I was completely satisfied with the work done on my house AND the price I paid. Anyway here's my story:
I got home from work late one night and realized that my water heater had leaked a puddle next to where I park my car in the garage. I called my mom and she gave me the number for North county plumbing since thats who they have used for years now. I called in around 9pm and talked to a lady who took down my info and told me she'd have a technician call me back. Within 5 minutes, a plumber (Erick I believe) called me back and asked me about the problem. He told me that since it was after hours and NOT an emergency that he could save me a lot of money by talking me through a couple steps to temp fix the problem and coming out first thing the next morning...OR he said if I wasn't comfortable with that, he would be happy to come over ASAP. I asked him his advice and he said it really wasnt an emergency so could just save the money and put it towards a new water heater, which i was going to need anyway. I took his advice and he walked me through turning off the water supply to the water heater and attaching a hose and draining the water heater. I AM NOT familiar with this kind of stuff at all but he was VERY patient and we were all done in a matter of 10 minutes. I asked him how much it was going to cost for him to do the work the next day and he said since he didnt know the exact type of heater I had and if there were any leaks in the surrounding pipes, he couldn't tell me exactly the cost without looking at it BUT he charges a fee for coming out and giving an in home guaranteed estimate WHICH if you choose to use him, is just subtracted from the final cost...so basically it's free if you use him which I was planning on.
The next morning he was at my door at 8:30 ready to get to work. He gave me a quote and got started working. When all was said and done I actually ended up paying him 25$ less than what he had originally quoted. He helped me out because he already had one of the parts that I needed on hand, leftover from another job (still new in box)....so somehow I got a discount. I didn't really understand but who am I to question free money? :)
The work was done by 10:15am and I went about my day, feeling good because I had saved money and because the plumber was just such a sweet guy. He helped me out instead of trying to make a quick buck and that's very sweet. My husband was out of town also and i felt completely comfortable with him in my home with myself and my child. He was such a sweetheart to my little boy too, who was being curious (annoying) and asking him a bunch of questions while he was working. Not only did I get the job done right without my husband, I got the best deal in town and the highest quality workmanship. It's a great feeling, good work North County Plumbing.

Double check pricing when you call for an appointment. I did not. I checked the pricing on the website and scheduled an appointment. When the technician gave me the quote it was quite a bit higher than I was expecting. I called the office to inquire and was told that the website prices hadn't been updated, ""sorry""
slightly annoying but since I had waited two days to get the problem fixed I went ahead and paid for it. Just ask up front in case they don't get around to updating their website any time soon.

Horrible customer service and less than average workmanship.
I called them on an emergancy call 9/25/12. I was having a big family dinner when my kitchen sink backed up and it was leaking under the sink as well. they sent a plumber and he was here for a half hour and snaked the drain and said i was good to go. This cost $175. A week later to the day, my sink backed up again and that's when I discovered that for the whole week my pipes (or something) was still leaking. I called on 10/9/12 and was told someone would call me right back. I got a call the next day at which point I was told it was not a warrented service and I would incure another charge if they came back. I was told it was my fault for putting food scraps in the garbage disposal. At this point I had a bad feeling and little faith, so I called a recommended plumber. He came out and assest the source of the problem within 5 minutes. I had a huge crack in the garbage disposal that was causing the leak. See pic here: http://oi45.tinypic.com/tapqh2.jpg
I immediatly called North County back and requested a full refund. after arguing with me that this was my fault he offered me a credit. I didn't want to use them ever again, so I said thanks but no thanks. He then reluctently offered be a $50 refund, which I un-enthousiastically agreed to becuase I felt that would be the best he would do for me. 10/23/12 I called to ask where my check was and I was told it was in accounting and would take a few weeks. 11/7/12 I spoke with Deanna and she siad the check was going out that friday. 11/16/12 I called and Terri said she was writting it up right away and sending it out. At that point I asked for thier address and had my husband pick up the check. To summerize, I felt I had to grovel for the measly $50 refund, when I really should have recieved a full refund for an obvious oversight that any decent plumber should have found.
