These folks are amazing! They are honest and provide quality service and recommendations. Used them 4 or 5 times.

Highly recommend North Coast Sewer Plumbing and Drainage! A part in our toilet tank broke off during the weekend which led the water to literally shoot straight out from the tank. We had to shut off the water supply to the house as the toilet valve was also leaking. We called Eric from North Coast Sewer Plumbing and Drainage. Despite it being a Sunday, he came over right away to help us. He was the best plumber ever: responsive, kind, timely, professional, and efficient. He fixed the problem immediately and left the area where he worked spotless. His rate was fair and his communication A++. We also worked with plumbers, Johan and Joel, for a separate issue. They were excellent, as well. If you need a plumber, do not hesitate to give Eric and his team a call!

We moved into a home in Skokie and had North Coast team come out and service the flood control system in the front yard. They rodded to the street, and again to the house with two different cutters, lubricated the one way valves, and checked out the 1 HP motor.
All working and ready for spring rains.

Highly recommend North Coast. We had a clog in our sewer pipe due to using flushable wipes. Important: no wipes are flushable regardless of what the packaging says. We had 1 inch of water in our laundry room as a result. We had a company come as an emergency call to hydro jet the clog with success. They then proceeded to tell me that our newer pvc pipes were connected to old cracking and collapsing clay pipes that needed to be replaced and quoted me $6,400 for the work to replace the clay pipes. After receiving 4 estimates from various companies, North Coast deemed that we did not need any work done. Eric came by (on time) ran a camera through, had me run water throughout the house and showed me on the his camera that the old clay pipes weren't even a factor. He explained that the clay pipes were installed ages ago to old gutters to have the water flow underground. The clay pipes weren't even connected to our plumbing and served no purpose.
Besides saving us a ton of money on imaginary work, Eric was professional, courteous and friendly and took almost an hour to diagnose the issue. He was thorough and took time to not only explain but also show me that there was no issues with our underground plumbing. And he didn't even want to charge me for the visit. C'mon, how often does that happen? I know there's companies with tons of glowing reviews (we had them out here too), but North Coast truly gave not just exceptional but honest service. We'll be calling them for all of our future plumbing needs.

I started using this company a few years ago on the recommendation from a friend. They are fabulous! I've had them do everything from riding out a clogged sewer line to installing a new water heater to installing a new sump pump. Most recently there was low water pressure in a bathroom faucet. I suspected it needed a new aerator but I couldn't get the old one to budge, so I called North Coast. They came out and sure enough, they replaced the aerator. Problem solved. When I asked how much I owed, they said ""No charge."" They said I've been a good customer over the years so this was their Christmas gift to me. You can't beat that!

I had an emergency active leak in my bathroom sink.. it was contained for the most part. Called them, and I will have to admit, they came out very quickly, managed to squeeze me in to make sure that I was taken care of. So bravo on that part!!!The young man who was the plumber, turned a knob to try to get the leak to stop, but it broke off, and I had water spraying all over my bathroom, and it leaked down into the condo below me. When I called to make a complaint, the owner was super rude to me and said it was already an active leak so they would not do anything about it. But his Plumber was the one that broke the piece off and made the water leak everywhere, without making sure the water was turned off. Owner told me It was bad maintenance on my part, which was untrue. He also called me a liar. Which was untrue. You call your customers liars?? Just be careful when using North coast Plumbing.

Replying to Eric's post.. his post is what I call bad business.. he wasn't even there, but he knows what my bathroom looked like????? Really.. your plumber or should I sent 'apprentice' pulled off the supply line which spewed out the water.. before your men came, there was no water on my floor. When your ""plumber"" left, he couldn't even look me in the eye, because he knew he screwed up.. stop being a jerk and own up to being an honest businessman. That's the big problem in this world is no honest businesses left.

This is the company to hire. I've used them for a number of projects over the years on 2 different homes. These include:

- New water line from the street to the house
- Sewer access lines (both homes)
- Sump pump replacement ($1k lower than a ridiculous competitor's estimate)
- Various clogs & faucet installs

Always professional, cost competitive and the work is outstanding. My neighbors have stupid 3-4 inch pipes sticking out of their yards. What's that about!? North Coast put in both sewer access lines flush with the ground with minimal disturbance to my property. I've spend some serious bank with this company and trust me, these are the people to call.

Team Eric - An outstanding job today with the removal of our old system and the installation of the best flood control system I could imagine. Thank you all very much for everything. Such a great team - courteous, professional and very knowledgeable - you can be so proud. This is why we wouldn't call on anyone else for our plumbing needs! And speaking of calling - a shout out to your office staff - always very courteous and very helpful. Superb all around!

We had a Kohler toilet rebuilt.....new fill & flush valves. They came when they said they would, performed the work quickly and didn't leave a mess. What's not to like??

I had North Coast perform a water service line replacement when I first purchased our home. Eric was extremely timely in his responses and was very upfront and honest with some of the things he was considering when planning the work. A few months after living in our ancient home, we had a drain line completely disintegrate underneath our floor in the basement. I got a ton of quotes from other companies- many of the ""shrink wrapped graphics on the side of the van"" variation. Eric gave a super reasonable quote over text. We ultimately went with another company due to scheduling. A few other times I have called them to do an annual sewer camera scope and they are the best. What sewer company writes - on paper- that a sewer line is in great shape? They couldve sold me an entire sewer line replacement and I wouldve been none the wiser. Broke, but definitely not even close to being aware of it. Honesty is not a given in this industry and I can not say enough good things about how honest these folks are. Even the people in the office give you real information and make every effort to work with your circumstances. I almost don't want to say this, but knowing I can call North Coast if we have a sewer problem makes me a little less worried.
