Company Overview

Norhio Plumbing, Inc. is a locally owned and managed plumbing company. Herman Bohinc has been part of the plumbing, heating, and cooling sector since 1954. Both of his sons, Michael and Gary, play key roles in the company.

Gary has been a licensed plumber at Norhio since 1983. Gary is certified by the State of Ohio to install and test fire sprinkler systems as well as backflow prevention devices. Gary, as COO, directs the daily activities of the business. Michael serves as the CFO, bringing his CPA expertise to the firm.

Norhio is a distinguished full-service plumbing contractor meeting the needs of the Greater Cleveland community. Our services include hot water tank maintenance, furnace repairs, clearing clogged drains, sump pump installations, and plumbing fixture services. We are skilled in the installation and repair of sewer lines, gas lines, water lines, and septic systems. Excavation is also part of our skill set. We maintain full licensing, bonding, and insurance. We are proud members of the PHCC and local chambers of commerce.

Herman is certified by the State of Ohio in plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC. He is also state-certified in fire sprinklers and backflow prevention. Throughout his career, he has held several leadership roles, including President of the PHCC of Ohio from 1991 to 1992. Since 1994, he has chaired the Plumbing Section of the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board.

He is a state-certified instructor in backflow prevention, teaching for the past 27 years. His teaching consistently receives high evaluations, and his students achieve some of the best scores in the state.

Herman has received numerous accolades for his dedication and contributions to the industry. He is the only two-time recipient of the PHCC's Contractor of the Year Award (1989 & 2010) and the Contractor Service Award (1995 & 2001). Herman and his wife have been involved in several charitable causes in Northeast Ohio, with a focus on aiding children.
