Company Overview

Norhio Plumbing, Inc. is a family-run and operated plumbing service. Herman Bohinc has been part of the plumbing, heating, and cooling sector since 1954. Both of his sons, Michael and Gary, play key roles in the company.

Since 1983, Gary has served as a licensed plumber for the company. Gary is recognized by the State of Ohio for his expertise in installing and testing fire sprinkler systems and backflow prevention devices. As the COO, he oversees the daily operations of the company. Michael serves as the CFO, bringing his CPA expertise to the firm.

Norhio is a recognized full-service plumbing contractor catering to the Greater Cleveland area. We specialize in servicing hot water tanks, furnaces, unclogging drains, sump pumps, and various plumbing fixtures. We install and repair sanitary sewer lines, gas lines, water lines, and septic systems. We also have experience in excavation. Our company is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. Our company is affiliated with the PHCC and various local chambers of commerce.

Herman holds licenses in plumbing, hydronics, and HVAC from the State of Ohio. He is also state-certified in fire sprinklers and backflow prevention. He has served in multiple leadership capacities, including as President of the PHCC of Ohio from 1991 to 1992. He has been the Chairman of the Plumbing Section of the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board since 1994.

He is a state-certified instructor in backflow prevention, teaching for the past 27 years. His teaching consistently receives high evaluations, and his students achieve some of the best scores in the state.

Herman has garnered several awards for his relentless work in promoting the plumbing profession. Herman is uniquely a two-time winner of the PHCC's Contractor of the Year Award (1989 & 2010) and the Contractor Service Award (1995 & 2001). He and his wife have actively contributed to numerous charitable efforts in Northeast Ohio, particularly those benefiting children.
