Wonderful service, replaced my furnace and A/C a few years ago. They were very professional and reasonable. You can also finance the sale and installation on your monthly gas bill and add a service contract! They are very responsive and experienced!

After several people recommended them, I called to get a quote for an air scrubber for my central air conditioning. I was told I would have to get that from the marketing department who would call me. That was 6 weeks ago. Meanwhile, I got the job done with another company, who I will now get my yearly service contract.

What a waste of time. Reached out to these clowns for a ac replacement quote. Got an appointment a month away. The guy showed up water an hour with me never received a quote. Absolutely bizarre. If they can get you a quote do you think they will do a good job at your house? Stay away.

We have had a service contract with NJR for 20 yrs now- the heater died here in March, placed a service call and was given a 10 hour window (8am-6pm) for the next day. Nobody ever showed up or called- at the end of the day I called them and they had rescheduled the appt for the next day (8am till ? ) without even contacting me ! What kind of customer service is this ? We will not renew this service contract- goodbye NJR- you guys have gone down hill big time !!!

Never, never buy a service contract with NJR. Bought a contract needed heat repair. Took 1 hour 45 mins to talk to someone, took over 46 hours for someone to show up. below 30 out freezing. Pipes broke, had to move out of house . Problem was fixed by my plumber because they did not have the $10 part. Payed top dollar for the service contract and it was useless. Now with tens of thousands of damage I'm out of luck. NJR suc+s...

Unlike some here, I had a wonderful experience with NJR Home Services replacing a hot water heater. I had received several high-ball estimates from local HVAC companies and was quite happy with the realistic price quoted to me by NJR/HS. One phone call, fast scheduling, easy terms (12 payments on the gas bill). Two techs arrived as scheduled and had the job done in under two hours. So, right unit; right price; right payment options; right workmanship. Unless it was free, the experience could not have been much better.

Always professional when you can get an appointment. Seems do not have enough techs to go around. Pay $453.24 per year and can't get an appointment for annual maintenance put on wait list.
Never got appointment for A/C now it furnace time.

Can't remember last time had maintenance and I put my own filters in each.

In general I was somewhat happy with the service men who came to the house to fix my furnace. My furnaces are old so I know that there are limits as to what they can do.
We decided to buy a new furnace and could not get to first base with their salesman Robert. We could not even get together for an appointment.
Imagine a sales person who thinks he is better than the customer. He called at night when I was not available and then got annoyed with me when I could not accommodate his schedule for a telephone call. I apologized for my busy schedule but that did not sit well with Robert. He ignored my calls.
My advise is that are plenty of fish in the sea and to run from these ""better than Thou"" people. I know that there are good salespeople out there and NJT needs to find the good ones.

I have a contract with njr for water heater furnance and air conditioner had one problem with furnace were very courteous and went over and beyond to fix. Had a problem with hot water heater brown water coming from hot water wanted an extra 165.00 just to flush said not included in contract person who came out not professional gave me a difficult time.

I am so tired of this company enrolling me in service plans that I didn't sign up for. This is the second property where I have been enrolled in a 'service plan' that I DID. NOT. SIGN. UP. FOR. I am now waiting on hold an estimated '2.5-3 hours' to get rid of it. This company should be brought up on charges for fraud. YOU CANNOT 'INHERIT' A CONTRACT. I'd rather set my money on fire than give these scam artists even one nickel.
