A couple of years ago, Nixon repaired our air duct system which had loosened and fallen apart in areas, allowing some mice and other pests inside the house. Doug saved us much expense by not insisting (as almost all others we contacted did) that we rebuild the whole system. This year, I asked for an inspection to make sure the system was not in need of repairs and they had done such a good job that their rep Gabe could not find a single air duct-related entry point for mice or other pests. And he looked everywhere! He did find one non-air duct entrypoint in a crawl space under our stairs (credit to him for seeing the hatch in the corner behind a door), and suggested I fill it with foam or steel wool. In sum, they did a great job last time and they know what customers need - a thorough inspection! I'll be having them back again and again in years to come to check and maintain the system. Highly recommend.

Our wall heater went out in our rental in So Lake and Nixon's came out quickly to diagnose. Needed a new unit as the one we had was older and could not be fixed. The turnaround for the work was quick and I could not be happier. Doug and Wendy were great and very helpful in getting everything scheduled and done. The best in the Lake area and I would highly recommend!

This review is a longtime in the making. I've used Nixon's for close to a decade for heater maintenance prior to the winter months. Wendy is always a delight as is their owner and technicians. Heater was on the fritz and after troubleshooting to the best of my ability it was time to call in the big guns. In an incredibly busy season Wendy arranged for the owner to swing by and check it out. That in itself this time of year was a miracle. This company is reliable, honest and an absolute delight to work with. No one else will ever service my heaters as I trust these people and their expert knowledge. This is a STRONG and POSITIVE recommendation for Doug, Wendy, Sal, Mike and Addison of Nixon's. I couldn't be more pleased and happy! The team is professional, knowledgable, responsive, honest, fair and friendly.
The project involved the removal of an ancient furnace and hot water heater and moving the main water- shut off valve of the house to a more accessible location. One big challenge was the fact the house has a tremendous amount of stairs. Another challenge was the furnace and hot water heater were wedged into impossibly small and difficult crawl spaces.
Every member of the team had a ""can do"" attitude from the start and were dedicated to helping, problem solving and overcoming all obstacles. They go above and beyond.
I can't thank Nixon's enough for all they accomplished, the hard work, the professionalism and the excellent service for a job well done!
