We were in a real pickle. We had a leak adjacent to our water meter and had to shut off our water. After having called two plumbers that couldn't fit us in and two others that didn't return our call, my husband decided to see if our neighbor had a plumber. He referred us to NIR.

They said they could come right away, which they did. Our technician was super nice and got the work done that we needed.

Being without water the day before Thanksgiving was stressful, and NIR took care of us for a very reasonable price.

I've already shared my experience with a relative who quickly put them in her contacts. We had an awesome plumber for over a decade that had recently retired. Having a reliable number to call is a big relief.

So very disappointed in a business I have trusted since 2014. However, better to learn before using them to embark on a major repair that we had only discussed.
One hot water hose bib, one cold water hose bib, $20 each. No problem
Twenty minutes of labor $350 SHOCK & DISBELIEF!
This might be the going rate in a world that I do NOT belong. However, without a doubt, I could have had this accomplished for much, much, much less. My HUGE mistake...TRUSTING Them.
Heck, I would have given it a shot myself with Youtube, or I would have called others, I even would have gone to laundry mats from now on. WOW!
$390 for two hose bibs without complications or lifting.
NEVER AGAIN.
My advice, seek others and if you do not, Have NO FAITH or TRUST.

Our air conditioning completely stopped working last weekend, and it was 105 outside. It got up to over 90 inside. The company my husband had experience with in the past had not returned his call. After doing a bit of research, I found NIR. They had good reviews and worked weekends without exorbitant ""peak pricing.""

I called and Nick said they could be here within a couple hours, and they were. The AC didn't get fixed that day. Unfortunately, we have an old unit (it's an old house) and they had to order a part from a wholesaler, but could only find one that had it, and even they took an extra day beyond what Nick was told.

Nonetheless, Nick stayed in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on with my issue. After four days of miserable heat (not their fault, obviously) the part had arrived and Manuel was able to pick it up and get it installed. He was on that roof in 100+ heat for hours. (I felt bad for him, while as I sat with a rapidly melting ice pack in the 93-degree house.)

My AC is now working, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. Both Nick (the owner) and Manuel (the technician I worked with) were very professional and took time to answer any questions I had.

I definitely recommend this company.

Never gave us a quote before coming to the house. Then the service tech wouldn't give us a quote or an invoice. He said the manager would send an invoice. The plumber was nice and did a good job but then later the manager sent us an invoice by email. They charged a minimum $350 just to come out for the service call plus $80 for the part (which costs $54.43 at Home Depot). It took less than an hour for him to replace the part for a grand total of $430.00 for less than an hours work.

We called to find out why it was so expensive and complained about the excessive labor rate but he was unwilling to reduce the price to fair amount.

If you want to pay $350 just for them to come out then by all means call them but you can call dozens of other plumbers whose service call is 1/3 of that.

We will never use them again. It's not worth it.

Nick and company have been doing my plumbing repairs for at least 15 years, installing toilets, installing a new water heater, replumbing when we did kitchen and bathroom remodels, changing out valves, fixing a water main leak and handling routine repairs. I've always felt that the prices were fair and the service was professional and friendly. NIR has done work for other family members, too, including a complete repipe and going above and beyond to solve problems. Exceptional company.

I recently moved into an older home and had continual problems with one side of the house not draining or backing up. I had several companies come out who I found thru Yelp all of them either offered a temporary fix which cost hundreds of dollars or said it was just a simple clog which they would clear for hundreds of dollars. The problem kept recurring, I found NIR plumbing and scheduled an appointment Nick came out and within an hour scheduled a diagnostic test after they test they found that what the other plumbers had told me was completely incorrect. The price Nick quoted me was a good price for a difficult job. I was very happy to finally find out what the problem was and to have it fixed. Sergio & Mike who worked on my home were very professional and got the job done on schedule. Nick would regularly come by the job and call me with updates and let me know the schedule for the next day. Mike finished the last portion of the job and was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me and walked me thru the repairs and showed me some of the problem parts they removed from my crawl space. They also made sure the job site was clean and all debris were disposed of. I can't thank Nick, Mike, and their whole crew for the quality work they performed at my house in finally resolving a problem that has been going on for over a year. I will be referring them to my friends and family and will use them on any future work.

From the initial call to the final day of service, NIR responded promptly, professionally and most importantly clean and friendly. We had to repipe our whole house! Nick, the owner, came over right away and after walking through the house he explained to us his recommendations and also gave us a reasonable price. My wife likes to ask lots of questions and Nick was able to answer them all with ease, which made us feel confident in going with this company. We got 2 quotes to repipe the house by the way. We then scheduled the repipe which included plumbing in two restrooms, a kitchen and removing an old water heater to go tankless. The repipe process was performed primarily by Mike Lopez, a one man army. Mike is the most knowledgeable plumber out there; I'd put him up against any other plumber in the country. Not only that, but he's also the neatest plumber as well. He cleaned up immediately after each project and was able to explain what he did every step of the way. Sergio Cortez helped install our tankless water heater. He was also very prompt and knowledgeable. Nick came by almost each day and was available by phone every time we had a question or concern. Nick, Mike and Sergio all reminded and reassured us that they were always available for their customers. 24/7 service. The whole process lasted less than a week and we were able to stay home the entire time. I will definitely be calling Nick and the team to handle all our future plumbing and A/C needs. I recommend them to anyone in this IE area needing commercial or residential services. For people leaving negative comments complaining about price, remember, you can choose to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. This company is VERY reasonable in price and provide over the top service. Thank you Nick, Mike and Sergio!

This company was called to fix a plumbing issue. He was efficient and highly knowledgeable. The issue got taken care of in a timely manner. The work was done PROPERLY and fixed in a manner as to avoid the same happenstance from occurring again. Definitely recommend.

My AC stopped working on a Friday. I called a few different places on Saturday and NIR was the only HVAC repair place able to fit me in SAME DAY (only about an hour after I called), while every other location told me I'd have to wait until after the long weekend. Nick was so helpful, promptly found the issues, and fixed them while explaining the process to me the whole time. He even did a walkthrough of my home afterwards to show me what items might cause problems in the future. I have a cool house again and couldn't be happier! As a bonus, his cost estimate over the phone was accurate too.
