Outstanding in every way!!!!

I called one day and Luis and another technician were there the next day. They arrived within the window given - they were friendly, answered questions and options. Took care of the problem and I was thrilled at the price!!!! Who can say that about the cost of a plumber - I will always be calling Nick's!!!

I have used these guys several times at work and every time they have been reliable, efficient and fair. They will tell you what is wrong and offer options. There are no pressure tactics or above and beyond issues pushed.

Our most recent issue confirmed that this is an honest company. There was a blockage in the line and our renters called "their guy". That company gave us an estimate that was ridiculous and included digging up yards of concrete to clear it.

We called Nick's and they were able to clear the blockage. They even went so far as to figure out why it blocked and offer solutions for down the road and their option was less invasive then the other guy.

This company has earned my continued business and loyalty.

We are super bummed about the service with Nicks Plumbing. Everything started out great, we were recommended by a well known inspection company that my mother in law works for. He came the day he said he would come, at the actual time he said they would come (little things, right)? Prior to coming he told us the items we would need including the garbage disposal and kitchen sink hardware, so we were able to get that up front for him to install.

They installed a new kitchen sink for us, checked the house, and we uncovered a TON of work that the house needed (we are new homeowners). Nick and his trainee were going to take care of everything. I felt great with what they did when they came and great when they left with the work that was accomplished.

A month passes with no follow up, whatever we get it Nick is busy. We connect with him, no response. We try again a week later and he doesn't remember us as a customer because he is working long hours (ALL GOOD, we understand how busy people can be). We sent him the receipt for the work and he remembered us and the parts he ordered for us. He told us he will come on Friday (this is Tuesday), he told us he will put us down so no one else can schedule on that day and will call us on Thursday so we are on the same page of what will be completed. Cool!!! Nick is finally coming!!! Our plumbing issues will be resolved!!!

Thursday, no call to go over what was going to be completed. Friday, I scheduled off work. I call him at 10am asking when he would be here since we did not connect the day before. And he said in the afternoon. SAME day communication that he will be here. He literally no showed.

On September 6th we sent this (over a week later from being stood up):
"Hey nick- we understand you are busy, but disappointed that we were blown off on Friday and still waiting to hear from you. you committed to coming to us and even after talking on the phone that day you didn't communicate you weren't coming. I took off work. We are half way in with you so we want to get this completed. When can you & your team commit to completing our work?"

No response.

A couple days ago I sent this:
"Please do us the professional courtesy to get back to us. We've already spent money with you, can you commit to coming to finish our job?"

No response. We were completely ghosted by our plumber half way through the job. We have no idea why. We had a laundry list of 15+ items ($$ goldmine for nicks plumbing).

We loved the original service, we gave him the benefit of the doubt when he forgot about us and who we were, he told me on the same day he'd be there soon, and no showed. Haven't heard from him since. We're incredibly disappointed with the lack of follow up and complete disregard for us as a customer. Please learn to communicate, it doesn't matter how busy you are.

I had used Nick's Plumbing previously and was happy with the service. This time was completely different. I called to have a prefabricated sink unit installed for my patio. All hookups are existing. The only thing needed was to connect the water and drain from the prefab unit to the wall. My appointment was set for Friday. I take the time off of work to be here. They call and reschedule me to Saturday. The technician comes late. Then tells me that he does not have equipment or material to work on the water line and that plumbing supply stores aren't open till Monday. So he can come back Monday. He also tells me that it will be $685 to install the unit but he could give me a $200 discount for my troubles. I let him know that installing and outdoor sink is much less, per Nick's Plumbing website. Once he left I called the office and let them know the situation. They call the technician then come back and tell me that he can do it for $400. I say, "No Thank You!" and plan to never call them again. I'm not sure what happened with their service but I'll just call another company.

Amazing job, they came and change the shut off valve and now I have a piece of mind knowing that I can turn off the water if I need to in case of an emergency.
Eugene, Fernando and Joseph were really professional, nice and they do a great job; without any doubt I will call them again to do any repairs I will need in my house.

I received excellent service from Nick's Plumbing. Sven was courteous and professional. I need same day service and they were able to comply promptly. I would use this company again.

Update: water heater working just fine 3 weeks later. All that was needed was to re-light water heater. Either Nicks plumbing intentionally tried to charge us for unnecessary work to make more money off us or they weren't knowledgeable enough to figure out the simple fix. Not sure which is worst.

Called to get a quote to see what was wrong with a water heater.

After receiving a text message that the plumber was on their way, I then waited over an hour for him to turn up.

Showed the plumber where the water heater was, and left him to look at it. He then returned saying that a power outage flipped the switch for the unit off and that I owed him $220 for an "assessment fee"?! He then said the water heater supplier was about to go out of business and that it should be replaced soon. A google search showed that the supplier is not going out of business.

After refusing to pay the $220 for what was supposed to be for a free quote and no authorisation for him to do any work on the unit (work being flipping a switch), I called the head office to figure out what was going on. After disagreeing and going around and around, he said not to worry about it and never to call the head office again.

Leo and his trainee Devone fixed our problem in 30 minutes at a reasonable price. We had a very bad deep clog in our kitchen sink. He explained exactly what they were doing and showed pictures and solved the issue. He even gave us two options to choose from with two costs. I liked that it wasn't a one option deal and could choose based on what was best for our house. This is the second time we've used Nicks and are very happy.

I'm PISSED that I WASTED AN ENTIRE DAY WAITING FOR THESE PEOPLE. I scheduled an appointment on Tuesday for Thursday between 12P-2P. It is 4P and still no technician. I've sat waiting for 5 hours and no call from Nicks. I called twice for an update; at 2:20P and 4P. Each time being told somebody is coming soon. I'm so not impressed and definitely turned off. They have no sense of time nor urgency with customers schedules. Try another company; if they can't even get an appointment correct, I can only imagine what the service is actually like.

*****UPDATE: The technician arrived at 4:30P. He couldn't change the toilet because he needed help. WTF? I was told the work would be done the same day. I need to change a one piece toilet on the second floor. Does that really require multiple people for an estimate. I'm DONE with these people.
