Actual scam. Upcharges for all their services. Came to check on my AC unit and said that the freon was low and proceeded to charge me $2,000 for a refill and easysealant.

Got another quote from local businesses after feeling uneasy about it and looked online as well. All quotes and research was around $300. Feels like the company preys on people who don't fully understand the mechanics of AC and its pricing. Going to report to the BBB as well. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Today, Patrick H. came out to diagnose our furnace issue. We discovered a gap in the door that is allowing air and gas to mix, resulting in CO2 being pushed into our apartment. His quality of service was amazing! He walked us through our options and explained what would be in our best financial interest given our situation.

NexGen came to inspect low water flow into laundry washer. Appointment set for 2pm, two guys came at 3pm. Worked on hoses to washer.

I had to leave for appointment and when I came back, they had left, but I saw one left a shoe cover by the front door. I cleaned up the many drops of water and grime left in front of the dryer-washer units. I had given them old towels as they requested before I left. Told them to throw it away, they left towels in the front and back of the washer-dryer units.

At about 11:00PM, my wife discovered a large water puddle under the washer and soaking everything to the right of washer.

We saw the leak was from water dripping from one of the water hose connected to washer, obviously improperly re-connected. Absolutely a mess! Dried up the area best we could and placed a bucket under the leaking hose as water continued to drip from hose.

Second time I had to clean up NexGen's created mess.

****BE WARNED - BIGGEST SCAM COMPANY I'VE EXPERIENCED IN AWHILE.****

Called them because our heater had stopped working and our regular guy couldn't make it out quickly. They came and checked it out, their guy Gus Flores was very nice and cool and came back saying our furnace was shot and needed to be replaced since it was 21 years old. Plus our A/C line had a leak. He could replace the furnace that day for $12k. To fix the line was another $1800. I said that's nuts so he called his supervisor who got on the line and said along the lines - ""today only we can bring it down to $10k, for you."" I said I'm not doing anything until I get a 2nd opinion, which they didn't like to hear. They kept pushing and pushing but I said no. He finally left and I got my guy I usually work with to come out - I told him everything and he went and checked it all out. He comes out and says ""your electrical is funky so we need to fix the line but everything is working perfectly. Furnace is perfect and there is no leak in your A/C line."" Charged me $120 and left. I get the electrical fixed for another $100. From $13,800 to $220.

DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS EVER. THEY FEED ON THE FACT THAT YOU DON'T KNOW AS MUCH ABOUT FURNACES AS THEY DO. GET A 2ND OPINION.

This is a follow up review to my 3/7/2024 visit. After leaving my last review the regional manager reached out to me. He apologized for the ""misunderstanding"" and the lack of communication between the technicians. After discussing the situation we both agreed that the situation could be a learning moment for how to improve the customer service at NexGen.

The next day the original technician who was the supervisor came to the house and installed the circuit board which was not working. The circuit board was installed for free, because of the complaint, even though the price originally quoted had a mark-up of $900.

I waited a month before leaving an updated review to ensure that the heat was still working. The new control and circuit board are working great. I am leaving three stars because of the attention and support provided by the regional manager. I would not recommend or use NexGen again but I am happy that I finally have heat.

Service was crap if you don't bite to their bait. Quality is the same as their service they will say you need a secondary motor makes you feel like your air conditioning is done for but, in reality all you need is a simple capacitor and they will tell you NO ONE would sell you a ""secondary motor"" yet AMAZON sells it. For this so called secondary motor let me tell you how much they are selling it to me! $700!!!!!check out Amazon how much you can buy it for. I believe in making profit but making a 95% commission is just plane rubbery.

Roger was great! I called the day before and they were able to fit me in the next day. I have a little one with asthma so I wanted to get a better idea about the air quality in my home. Roger came early, wore shoe covers which was awesome because I have an 11 month old and completed his inspection. He spoke to me kindly and relayed information in a way I felt confident enough to discuss with my partner. He gave me options but I didn't feel pressured to sign up or purchase a service. It all felt very matter of fact and I appreciated that. I will use them for future services and I would recommend! Roger was awesome!

Just had a leak detection visit with Connor and Alfonso and they spent approximately 2 hours detecting where my leak was coming from and gave us a very detailed explanation of the possible remedies. They are both very pleasant and polite. They also gave us a no pressure estimate for fixing our problem.
