Tech arrived late. Price quoted was *far* more than other service providers. Not willing to be gouged.

We had urgent draining issues of the kitchen sink last Friday. We contacted a few plumbers, NexGen was the fastest one to respond, and sent a plumber, Mr. Michael, over to us within a couple hours of calling them. Michael quickly discovered that our sink was plugged due to build-up grease. A hydro jet service was needed. He must come back with the machine to do it. He certainly performed a great job and helped us clean the grease out on the same day. We really appreciated everything he had done.

I received a quote from NexGen recently for some plumbing. The technicians that came out were Michael O and Maurice. We actually ended up going another route as we have a family friend that was able to give us an unbeatable price; however, I'd be remise if I didn't mention how professional, knowledgeable, courteous and kind Michael and Maurice were. They not only toon their time and then explained the situation in detail, they gave me multiple quotes to offer me work on different issues. After wards Michael continued to follow up to ensure I was good and understood everything we discussed. Even when I let him know that we're going another route he was understanding and let me know they can always come back out if our mind was changed.

Again, even though I went another route with pluming the level of customer service and support I received was awesome and enough for me to highly recommend.

This company is horrible. I waited to write my review until I calmed down. they have not. We had a backed up drain and called them out. They informed us that we had not just a clog but a bad drain pipe under the house. They said they could fix this by scaling and epoxying the pipe to close the holes that were there. We accepted and after quite a few hours they came back and said that they had found more extensive damage. They wouldn't tell me flat out that the epoxy would not work, but they sure gave the impression that it would be a waste of thousands of dollars, and we should repipe. (for many, many thousands of dollars) We elected to go with the repipe. To their credit they did not charge us for the work they had done scaling the pipes. Our home is 60 plus years old and it has cast iron that was severely corroded so we elected to do a complete repipe.
We were told it would take 5 days (while saying that they were almost always done in four) and that they would protect the home from damage and mess. They also said they would clean up after themselves but that they were not a maid service.
The first day they hung plastic up where they were going to cut concrete. They also put narrow tarps down. Great!. Unfortunately as soon as the cut the concrete holes they then removed all the plastic and got on with the job. The concrete dust ended up covering every room. It got into our wood furniture and we can't get it out of the kitchen table. (I spent an hour cleaning that table, it won't come all the way clean) My wife and I spent 1 -2 hours each night of the 7 days it took for them to finish the job. After they left the last day we spent 3 days cleaning our home. I washed every wall three times to get them clean. I did the same with the floors. Everything was coated in dirt and concrete dust.
I was told that they would replace all the cast iron drains. They did not. They decided to skip the cast iron in the two bathrooms without telling me. I happened to see it when I looked one night after they were done for the day. When I brought it up I was told that they only left the vertical cast iron, which normally doesn't rot. I told them that this was untrue, they had left all the horizontal cast iron in both bathrooms up to the point that they connected to the new main.
I was told that they would replace all piping under each sink as well because they didn't want to have any issues with existing plumbing so this was just a standard operating procedure for them. They replaced none of it.
I was told that they would run cameras through all the drains when they were done to ensure that all hookups and sloping were done correctly. This would be done with me present so that I could see what a great job they had done. They did not do this.
The last thing they were going to do was put a liner in the pipes in the front yard all the way out to the sewer. They would do this from the new clean out drain that they put in the front yard where they hooked the new plumbing in the house to the drains in the yard. This could be done after the house was done. When I saw them filling in the hole where the new cleanup was, I mentioned to the that this still needed to be done. They said that this could be done through the clean out drain. They had a guy spend 2 - 3 hours filling this hole a little bit at a time and then compacting each layer of dirt. When the guy came out the next day (the eighth day) he took one look at the filled in hole and said he wasn't going to be able to do the job as he was a plumber and not an excavator. I told him they said he could go through the cleanup and he laughed and said that was impossible and he wasn't going to dig it all up. They had to send out the guy responsible for filling in the hole (the crew chief) with an assistant and he had to dig it back up. To say that this hole was re-dug with less than a graceful attitude is an understatement.
When the job was done, I contacted the person who had come to my house and sold me the job and told me how everything would go. I told him I wanted him at my home the next day as I wanted to show him the quality of some of the work. I must have sounded pretty upset as he brought his boss the next day.
After I showed them around I asked if they considered this job professionally done. They said no. The boss said he would make it up to us. I called after three weeks and asked what they were going to do. He said that they were giving us a rebate. It had been approved and would be sent .
A month later, I called and he went and talked to the controller and said the check would be mailed that day. A month later I called and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
I asked for the owner to contact me. I'm still waiting a month later. These people lie to you. They do poor work. Don't use this company.

Will not give hourly rate or send an estimate for a small leak, even though I sent them pics.

Do yourself a favor and call a qualified plumber. Called them out to to clear our main- only a 30ft run to our septic. They said they cleared the line the best they could, and the pipe was bad and recommended replacing it. So we dug it up. There was nothing wrong with the pipe except if it was clogged. This is what they ""cleared"".
If we weren't contractors ourselves, this could have cost someone else 5 grand.

I just recently had a recent visit by Adam to determine an issue with out water heater. I am a renter and our water heater stopped working, he came out quickly and was able to diagnose the issue. He was very professional and was able to explain everything to me. If it were my choice I would use Adam for all my plumbing needs! Thank you Adam!!!
