Just came across his business card on my desk and wanted to share my thoughts. Had used him once upon recommendation from a neighbor and he did great work and I was excited to have someone as an option to use in the future. Surprisingly, when I made an appointment with him in the future (which was like pulling teeth if you read my follow ups below) he ultimately never responded to my texts or phone calls to follow up, when he should have followed up with me for setting a date for the appointment, but never followed up again even after I followed up many times. Very disappointing since he did great work, but waiting for someone who never follows up after making an appointment date is not someone I would ever consider to use again.

History of texts:

-11-25-19: Asked about having work done at 2 locations for tankless water heater service. He responds with rates. Told CJ want to use him again and might have a neighbor, who might want to use at same day
-11-26-19 Followed up by text- no response- voicemail full
-11-27-19 Followed up by text. Heard back and waiting to schedule
-12-11-19 Followed up by text to ask when we could get on calendar
-12-12-19 Followed up by text to ask if still interested in 2 jobs since no response. We discuss dates by text and he tells me that he would come on Saturday, 12-28-19 and I give addresses
-12-27-19 Followed up by text to ask what time we would meet the next day and which location would be first.
-12-27-19 Followed up by text to ask what was going on since no response about time to meet and which location.

Never heard back again.

My realty company uses a few plumbers but I'll always request CJ with New Era. The most knowledgeable, professional and quick response place in LA. He's come out on emergency-middle-of-a-weekend night job and even other times to fix an issue a different plumber caused. The last situation was funny because a different company said I had a 4 hour job issue and I kid you not CJ came and completed it in 10 minutes. He knows his stuff! I would recommend New Era a million times over. He'll always be my first cal.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. When I contacted new ere, they were willing to work around my schedule. Very prompt in showing up and found the problem was a bad faucet. They went to Home Depot, purchased a new one and installed. All of this in a 2 hour period. I definitely will use them again and refer them to my friends.

I called to have them come out for an estimate on some fairly major work we needed done. They answered their phone promptly and set an appointment window for the next morning. Unfortunately, they never showed. They didn't call to say they couldn't come, needed to reschedule, nothing. I'd be hesitant to use them when they can't even be relied upon to show up. The appointment was between 9-11 am, btw, which meant taking time off from work and waiting around my house for a no-show.

They were very helpful on the phone and we were able to set up the installation quickly and easily. They were very knowledgeable, professional, prompt, cleanly, and efficient. Price was very reasonable. We are definitely using them again and will recommend to friends.

C J and New Era Plumbing are excellent, they removed my old bath tub and installed a new one at a great price, my bathroom looks stunning not only that my kitchen sink was clogged, they came and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. Very professional and excellent in what they do.

CJ at New Era Plumbing is an easy recommendation. He is well prepared, timely and does excellent work. It is definitely solid plumbing work . The job he did for on our main water line is so clean. Using the correct quality parts. It is what I would consider beautiful work.
