DO NOT USE Nevada Heating AKA Home Energy Experts. They have not honored our service agreements, lost them, and refused to fix their mistakes. When it was proven that we bought an AC unit from them, they refused to take ownership of their mistake and tried charging us a lot of money. When we paid to have our water heater that they installed serviced because it was continuously leaking, they claimed it was fixed 3 separate times and never fixed it. This company does not invest in training employees properly and they do not take care of their customers. Don't waste your time.

First time that I have had maintenance on my fireplace since I purchased my home. I appreciated the text confirmation and call to see if they could come early (worked out great!) Nick was knowledgeable, kind, and my dogs loved him. (Dog people understand!) In addition to the service, he cleaned the glass and kept the area immaculate. My fireplace looks like new and is running great! I am also having them return to add the blower/fan (never had a clue what the other switch on the wall was for!) so that the heat is distributed more efficiently. So glad that I chose this business to service my fireplace. Thanks so much, Nevada Heating & Nick for the professionalism and great experience!

Randy Moore, the service department manager at Nevada Heating , came out to diagnose an HVAC problem. He left us with poor notes, no quote for repair other than an anecdotal need for $1,500 in parts plus unknown labor or $20,000 for a complete system replacement. I was out of town and requested a deeper understanding of the problem and the various solutions. I got nothing from the company. No return calls, no email except for the same document left after the visit.

When we contacted another firm they came out to diagnose and found that Moore had removed the transformer and disabled the system. The technician from Sierra Air made a few key fixes and had the system running and performing well in under 90 minutes and for about $500. He explained everything he was doing and was surprised that his competitor didn't do the job. He said it was not difficult to diagnose.

I hate to think that Randy Moore sabotaged our system but we're not left with too many other options to consider. The transformer wiring had been severed. No effort has been made to explain their actions or to make it right. No contact on their part has been attempted since August 9.

Their silence has been deafening.

Roger and Brian installed our AC unit into an existing heater. The guys called when they left their shop with an arrival time. They arrived on time. They are very professional and polite and tolerated our dogs well. Roger explained all the steps that they were going to be doing and asked if we had any questions. They thought the job would take six hours or so. The worksite was cleaned up better than they arrived. We would give them six out of five stars.

I HAVE AN UPDATE........After I posted my review, I heard from the operations manager from Nevada Heating. He seemed to be a pretty good guy! After some debate, he did agree to refund the $99.00 charged for the service call, so he did try to do the right thing. He explained that because the house is old, it is their recommendation that air ducts be updated. Well, I know that.....There are a lot of things that need to be updated in a 55 year old house, which we are in the process of doing; however, the immediate concern was that one room was not getting air. I never did get any explanation as to why their service tech was not able to correctly diagnose the immediate problem! But, I am happy I got the $99.00 returned!

Our upstairs A/C stopped working. They came quickly to check it out and repair. We were told we needed a new system, the entire home. It would be 3 A/C's, 3 heaters. About $50,000.00. They did install a new thermostat. Did not work, it was not compatible with our system. It should have been known the thermostat would not work, just wanted to install a new system.

We did not agree with a ""new system"" and got a second opinion. Ultimate Air came out and fixed the problem within 1 hour.

When our AC took a dive, we called around, looked at reviews, and took a chance on Nevada Heating. They were able to get us on the schedule fairly quickly, which was incredible given the time of year. Brandon showed up and did not waste a moment getting to the repair and service. He was thorough, and explained everything he was doing all through the process. He had some maintenance recommendations, and those were fair and accurate. He was able to repair our unit and have us back in business the same day. I feel like others may have tried to sell us on services we didn't need, or a complete replacement. I think Brandon and NV Heating were fair, honest and responsive to our needs. Would recommend and use again.

The owner of the place has 2 enclosed trailers up for sale, I drove 4 round trip hours to purchase them.

During inspection, one was very clean and like new, 2nd had scratches,dings and dents.

Which he didn't disclose.

Then I noticed both had missing vin numbers, once I brought it to the owners attention he got very mad at me and asked me to leave the business.

Jake or Drake was Excellent. Checked out my fireplace,fixed it and now has a contract to continue service on it. Very nice,works well and knows what he is doing.
