I still think these guys are very good at what they do, but over time they became reluctant to do smaller jobs-----you know, normal kinds of things people call a plumber for.

I actually had 2 instances when they didn't ever call me back after I left messages with their service and I needed help quickly. I had 2 other instances when they sent other people to do work when they were on ""big jobs"" and I didn't care for them at all,

Another time when they DID come over they overcharged me ridiculously to put a part in my kitchen sink to ""fix"" a drip but should have done both the hot and cold faucets which would have been simple. Instead they did only one side and it started dripping again in short order.

After all these disappointments I moved on because in subtle ways I started feeling disrespected by National Plumbing and did find an excellent, reliable plumbing service locally who come over right when you need them, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day-----and the owner Tony (I guess everyone in plumbing is named Tony) follows up every time to make sure you received superior service. I had to replace my 50-gallon tank with a tankless and relocate It from the laundry room to the outside.

Tony came to my house, evaluated the situation and explained my options to me. He was honest, polite, and knowledgeable. I had few more plumbers to come out to quote me and they were trying to change my mind about going tankless or about relocating the tank. Also one of them quoted me a ridiculous price.

I hired Tony to do the job and he showed up on time with his crew and finished everything before the planned time. They cleaned their work area and left everything the way it was. He also took care of scheduling the city inspection and worked with the inspector on few issues that were resolved without additional cost. They did a great job. Thank you Tony.

Look no further, Tony is honest, smart,and polite. I wish I had found him years ago. He figures out the issue quickly, explains what needs to be to fix it and how much it will cost.. my water pipes were groaning when I showered. I had another company look at it. It took them 3 visits to figure out that the tank needed to be flushed, it was over 800 for the 3 visits. When it happen again a few years later I called Tony, he knew what it was, how to fix, took care of it and it was 125.00. I highly recommend Tony, I have been using his company for a couple years and have always been happy with his service.

I ask a lot of questions, and so they were patient and walked us through each step of the process and showed us what the problems were and explained what work they would do to fix it. I've got a plumbing emergency and I've got the best response time and quality I could imagine. He did clean up of the line and explained issue to me. He also explained possible solutions to avoid issues in the future. After half an hour it was functional. Great job Tony!
