Nak did the copper re-pipe for our house in Concord. We had low water pressure at certain spots due to the old galvanized pipes. Their price was competitive even against PEX re-pipe proposals. Any removal of drywall was performed in a neat fashion that allowed for easier repairs afterwards. Would not hesitate to use them for future jobs.

We needed to have a seismic auto shut off gas valve installed. I did shop for quotes first from 2 other plumbers - one is a little shady and they're not local, the other is local but ridiculously overpriced (claiming that it needs a lot more extra work which was obviously trying to make more money...plumber's name rhymes with Bernie's). I am very glad I trusted my insticts about going with Nak for Plumbung after I read the reviews in yelp. Working with them was smooth - from the first contact with Keiko and succeeding appointments, estimate visit by John, and actual installation by John and Carter. They are all very professional. They would respond quickly, constantly update me if they're running late, very honest about giving recommendations and pricing. We are satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend Nak...and stay away from ""Weekend at Bernie's"" (the overpriced plumber).

I have had numerous plumbing issues in the past year, including a leak under the slab. John and David are the most patient people I have ever dealt with. They are explain things so that I can understand, extremely tidy, and very trustworthy. They are always prompt and do a fantastic job, you never have to call back over something that was overlooked. John Nakagaki (owner) is such a great guy! This is my second time using his business for water heater issues. In 2010 he did a minor repair (replaced a thermo coupler) and he went above and beyond my expectations back then. So thoughtful and willing to explain a lot (including how to do things myself to extend the life of my water heater). Never felt like any type of up-sell of services. Fast forward 8 years to last week and I discovered my water heater sprung a leak. Panic of course sets in. I've seen plenty of videos of burst water heater tanks. Yikes! I called his business line on Sunday afternoon expecting to get an answering machine or service but even though he was closed, John answered the phone himself. He listened to the issue, gave me some comfort that I had a little bit of time based on the description of my leak. Gave me a quote for a new replacement water heater (Rheem 50 gallons). His quote was fair and given my past experience with him I asked him how soon could he come without the need to call around for competitive quotes. He said he was busy but would come at the end of the business day Tuesday to ensure my job got taken care of quickly. He sets up his appointments via email and text notifications which is pretty cool. I even got a text message when he was about to arrive at my house to let me know. He was right on time and worked well past dinner time to get the job done. His helper, Alex, was pleasant and the work was very professional. Stuck to his quote he gave me and I couldn't have been more satisfied. If you need a plumber Nak for Plumbing is the way to go. Reliable, honest and reasonably priced. Thank you John!

Called them to replace a bad valve in my shower, which had already been diagnosed as bad. Technician comes, without a valve, looks at shower and tells me my valve is bad. So, he then tells ME to go buy a valve, which he will come back and install. Is there more than one kind of valve? If not, why does he not have one. If yes, how do I know what to buy? Can't imagine him being any less helpful. Paid for a worthless service call and certainly did not call them back.

I asked for a few quotes on yelp and they were the first ones to get back to me. They had specific questions about my situation and quoted rates. They also worked with me scheduling a time that worked for me. John was really great when he arrived. The work was completed promptly and the price was reasonable.
