I was referred to Nak for Plumbing by a friend and couldn't be more pleased! From the super friendly people who answer the phones to the 10 star plumber that came out. Eugene was AMAZING, I had pulled out my kitchen faucet and plumbing to replace it all and got stuck on one slip nut on the pipe going in to the wall that had corroded and cracked and I couldn't get it off without fear of damaging the pipe going in to the wall. He had seen all the work I had done trying to do it all myself so he coached me through the whole process of getting it off and waited to make sure I got it back together leak free and didn't charge me anything for the advice. I can not imagine a more kind, knowledgeable or helpful person. I will for sure be using Nak for Plumbing for all future plumbing needs!

They were nice folks, but still couldn't fix the problem.

I had a stopped up yard drain. NAK was very responsive. They sent somebody out the next day. Their guy worked on the problem for 2 hrs, but couldn't solve the issue. The only piece of equipment they had was a small battery powered snake. I would think that they would have a camera to check the line. Or, even a larger snake.

Again, nice folks. But, they couldn't fix my problem.

NAK- Gregory was responsive and set up a timely appt. Communication was appreciated with changes needed. Work was spot on and problem completely resolved.
Eugene explained every step of the problem and why there was a problem and the solution to avoid future issues. He was thoughtful and knowledgeable, clean and efficient.
The resolve was perfect.

Needed some help with a failed do-it-yourself job and Nak Plumbing was able to send someone over within an hour. They saw that the job was fairly straightforward and quoted me a price that was higher than I expected, but given the quick response I went ahead with it. The job was completed efficiently and it's been a couple of weeks and no leaks or other issues, so I am pleased with the results.

I'm a believer in the idea that you can get something done with high quality, low price, and quickly ... but you can only have two of the three. With Nak Plumbing I think you get the quality and the speed, but they won't be the cheapest.

Needed a new water heater, called Nak. Keiko asked a few questions, quoted a price for the job, and set up an appointment over the phone. Brandon, Mikael and Chia replaced the water heater and did a meticulous, efficient, and professional job. They also noticed that the pressure regulator was no longer working, so they quoted a price to replace that. Chia did the work the next day and did another great job. It looked so good I took a picture. I have been using this company for 15 years and am still impressed by the quality of their work and the ease of working with them. Thanks again team Nak.

John Nakagaki, the owner of Nak for Plumbing, has been our plumber since 2013. We are loyal customers. John is dependable, honest, trustworthy and really cares about getting the job done right. He's a good man - if you hire him please treat him well. He's the plumber you want to establish a long-term relationship with, someone who knows your home inside/out, he does what is necessary and won't recommend work that doesn't need to be done yet. Be good to him, he's the real deal with 40+ years of experience.

I'm rounding from 4.5 stars. Nak is a serious business that wants you to be satisfied with the quality of their work. In our case they fixed a drain leak, but left without the stopper working. They made a priority of coming back to fix without any pushback. I like them (2nd time customer) and will call first next time I need plumbing work done. They do come in a little pricey, but come through on quality.

Had a plumbing emergency this morning, water leaking everywhere from the toilet. Turned out to be crack in the old toilet tank. Floor was covered with water and I was panicking because I couldn't budge the water shutoff valve - googled and found Nak for Plumbing. They were so helpful and arranged for someone to come over very quickly (within an hour). Gave me some good advice about how to minimize the water flow since valve wasn't working. In short, kept me sane and saved my floors! Mikael arrived and quickly assessed the situation and had to turn off water to my place. The building shutoff is in a location inaccessible to me. He was so efficient and knowledgeable, and after stopping the flood of water, we discussed getting a new toilet to replace my ancient one (1970!!). He arranged that and very quickly picked up the new one and installed it, along with a new shut off valve. I can't praise Mikael highly enough, he knew what he was doing and got the job done quickly, and was a pleasure to deal with.

Will be calling Nak from now on for all plumbing needs and will recommend them to my neighbors.

Highly recommend Nak for Plumbing! I had started a bathroom remodel but also had a list of other plumbing issues that needed attention. The jobs included conversion from two to one sink plumbing, replacing a pressure reducing valve, replacing a galvanized pipe, and replacing a tub spout that was rusted in place. Niles and his crew were very responsive, explained and answered all my questions. I have no doubt they will be the first ones I call for any future plumbing issues.

Replaced my kitchen faucet and water supply valves. They showed up on-time, worked efficiently, and left the job area neat and clean. Two workers made the job go faster. They happily explained the job and instructed me on how the new faucet worked. When completed, the price I was given on the phone was the price I paid. Very happy.
