Nick and his team worked on installing a water line to a small garden next to our entry way this morning. They did an excellent job, and all three were very personable and knowledgeable. We had freshly planted that area, so it was a challenge to dig around the plants to install the pipe. I felt the price was fair for the amount of work involved in that task. I will definitely add Nick to my list of service providers for house maintenance/repair. I will have an additional plumbing tasks in the near future, and I have every confidence that he will do a great job on that as well.

Nick and his team are true professionals and couldn't be more thoughtful.

A few months ago Nick had installed a gas line to replace a wood burning fireplace. The work was timely and cost was very reasonable.

The past weekend I found a gas leak under the house at 9pm on a Sunday night. PG&E shut off the gas that night and said to call a plumber. I left a message for Nick that night and by 7:30am Monday received a call back, and by 8:10am someone was at our house fixing the gas line. The work was complete and PG&E had the gas back on by the time I got home from work. It doesn't get better.

9/12/2017 follow-up: I called NJ Plumbing and spoke with the woman who answered the phone - she said she was the one who wrote the review as Nick is her husband. My name didn't show up in their records as it was my husband who made the call. I gave her the worker's name, explained to her the entire situation, and we came to the agreement that her worker should have asked more questions to better diagnose the problem. I appreciate her willingness to discuss the situation, and hope others have a better experience.

RIP OFF 175$ for 30 mins work plus no warranty.

As with anything else this was a time when I really needed to get fixed ASAP. I asked upfront what the cost was for the repair and the lady on the phone said 175 for an hour's work plus parts. The repair person took ~ 30 mins. I still had to pay the full hours price. The repair person also said there is no warranty for the work and there were other parts that need to be replaced and that he did not have those. I said if you had those parts I could get them replace in today's trip and not pay another 175$. He said it will take longer than an hour anyway. Just seems very unreasonable to charge 175, not give warranty and find other reasons why it might fail.

I would not go back.

My son dropped a big button (like a political campaign button) down the toilet. Nick arrived exactly on time, and had it out within something like two minutes! No muss, no fuss. He even removed his shoes at the door without me asking. :) I'll definitely be calling Nick if we have another plumbing problem! Also, Johanna is great on the phone - friendly, neighborly, and worked with my schedule. Thanks NJ Plumbing!

Yesterday was an interesting day at our house. I discovered the night before that our 13 yr old water heater had started leaking. Called Nick (and a few other plumbers too) in the morning. Nick asked for photos over text to know exactly what we are dealing with. Quoted me a rough pricing based on the photos. He didnt have time to accommodate us for a water heater replacement that day, but he stayed back after hours and came at 5pm with his guy Faudi to take a look in person, finalize the quote and specifics of the job, and got it done then and there. Nick was very clear, concise, professional, and competitively priced. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Excellent! Another plumber referred me to Nick when we had an emergency plumbing issue. I feel so lucky to have found NJ Plumbing! Our hot water heater had leaked from the upstairs through the ceiling into our living room. Nick came out right away and calmly and professionally walked me through the steps he would need to take to remove the current heater and replace it. He and a co-worker got the job done in just a couple of hours. He's honest, thorough and personable. I'll definitely be calling NJ Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.
