Will S.In July 2023, NETR installed a $39,000 LG Whole House Heat Pump system in my home (3 indoor units, attic ductwork, outdoor unit, and a branch box). Since then, I've experienced numerous installation and equipment issues--some posing real safety risks.
I found out NETR never pulled any permits for the work. Despite confirming their mistake and promising to fix it, as of July 2025 the project still lacks proper permits and inspections. My town Building Department has followed up several times requesting missing info and payment--NETR refuses to respond to myself or the town, and I am left chasing them.
I've had to involve third-party contractors and LG's support team just to get basic issues resolved. NETR has been out to my home at least 10 times since system install, and shown no accountability for any of the downtime, frustration, and safety issues related to this expensive system.
If you're considering NETR--do your homework. I regret trusting them with such an expensive and critical system. Expect installation issues, repeated service calls, and premature equipment failures.
I just had my mini splits serviced and as usual, Terrence did an awesome job. Reliable..friendly..knowledgeable.. what an asset he is to your company.

I used this company twice to install mini-splits in two different houses. The first installation was great. The second job was quite extensive (and expensive) and ended poorly. I noticed a necklace was missing from my room and spoke to the owner who said he would investigate and get back to me. I never heard from him and later discovered more missing, valuable jewelry. I filed a report with the police but it was too late to do anything. Too bad for the honorable workers in this company but I was ripped off and would never recommend this company. Their technical support is also lacking for internet based systems. Stay away!
I am sorry but I cannot recommend LG mini splits from NETR. Since our unit was installed, the AC does not work. NETR sent technicians, who determined the unit was faulty. Technicians were professional and knowledgeable. But NETR will not replace the unit until a manufacturer's representative comes to look at it. Still waiting for that appointment.
I've done business with this company for over 20 years.I own J.P. Licks Ice Cream and we have 17 locations in and around Boston We have a wonderful relationship with them for my residential, and commercial, AC and refrigeration needs. They actually care about their customers, are very communicative, show up when scheduled, and stay until the job is done. If they're tied up on a job and are running late they call and let you know what's happening. The quality of their work is impeccable and their field technicians are polite and efficient. They are a rarity among service companies today. They're not perfect but when there is a problem they stand behind their work and remedy it as soon as possible.
Too bad all mechanical service providers aren't as proficient and honorable as N.E.T.R.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I used this company to install mini splits in 2018. I paid over $20k for system/install. There were some issues with one unit since the get go. Three years later had service come out to tell me the line sets used are faulty, need to be completely replaced (break down of the sets caused micro holes in tubing, leaking everywhere/mold etc). They gave me a quote for $10k. My warranty was 12 years all parts indoor and outdoor and 1 year for labor. They told me to go through my home owners (which they denied). They are telling me bc the linesets are not Mitsubishi they won't cover cost. NETR then said, ok we will make a deal with you and pay half but I need to commit before end of year bc that deal will expire. I understand they got bad equipment but why is that my problem? I signed a contract with a 12 year warranty and they are not holding their end of deal. I would NOT recommend using this company.
Spent 20k on heating/ac split vents less than 5 years ago that came with a 10 year warranty. 1) The units never worked great and 2) the pipes they installed have been leaking freon and water causing immeasurable damage to my home. When their technician responded to my home he admitted that the piping THEY installed was faulty and obsolete but the company advised me to use my home insurance to pay to repair the problem they caused! My 10 year warranty states it covers all equipment. Now I'm in a situation where I have to sue them to get them to fix the problem they caused. RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS COMPANY!!
We had a horrible, bordering on traumatic, experience with NETR. They caused significant property damage to our newly renovated space, had very unprofessional staff who were loudly yelling and swearing while working (which was particularly annoying given we were working from home), and now I noticed one of the units they installed last summer is falling off the wall. While I imagine they would send someone out to fix the unit falling off the wall, our experience with them was so bad I do not want them in my home and will now pay a different contractor to better attach the unit.
T E.We just had an additional Mitsubishi Mr. Slim AC unit. Everything was easy. Communication was clear and thorough, including confirming arrival time. The installation team was friendly, efficient, and reviewed the plan with me. I recommend them highly.
Julie C.I have done business with this company for over 15 years having done 4 different homes with their minisplits. I recently had them come do maintenance on a property in January. The maintenance person did not collect payment at time of cleaning. Five weeks later I receive a phone call from the owner stating I have been sent numerous emails and invoices, which they received no response to and that if I didn't pay by Friday I would have lawyers contacting me, a lien on my house and I would be put out for collections. I explained I have never received an invoice or an email and I only received two phone calls, which I immediately returned and paid it with a credit card that day. I Was always happy with the service but very disappointed that a long-standing customer who has spent over $30,000 with this company is Called and threatened for a $600 bill after only five weeks.
I did ask for copies of the invoices that were sent to me and the emails. I was conveniently told they had a computer crash and could not retrieve any of them.
There are other options out there but I always try to use local companies. But after I was treated in this manner (hung up on also) and being a long time customer, this company needs to really rethink how they Talk to and treat their loyal customers.
I will not be going to them and referring business elsewhere from now on.
