The technician from my Guy heating and air-conditioning just left my house and I wanted to acknowledge the great service and honesty that he presented. I had him come out because both my furnace and air conditioner had never been tuned up since I bought them almost 10 years ago and I knew some thing needed to be done. Also, my furnace appeared to not be working properly and I thought it was that the pump was not putting out the air the way it was supposed to. He confirmed that I was correct the pump was broken totally, he was able to get a replacement within an hour and a half come back and installed it. During the maintenance on the air conditioner he found another faulty part which I had him replace. Although I thought perhaps I might be spending around three or $400 for the maintenance and possibly some parts the bill ended up being $1749. But in my opinion it was well worth it because everything is working so properly now just the way it was when it was first installed. Also, Scott answered every question I had offered to give me the broken parts that he replaced in case I wanted to have someone check to be sure that they were actually faulty & needed to be replaced but I didn't keep them. He also showed me each setting that he was looking for during the maintenance of both units and I appreciated that he took the time to do that with me. I would definitely refer their company and especially Scott to anyone that needs this type of work done.

For the past 17 years, our home heating & air system was... annoying. It blew too hot, too cold or too forceful unevenly throughout the house. Plus, it was LOUD. We noticed some rust on our outdoor condenser and knew it was time to get a new unit. We had 2 companies give us quotes. Both quotes included ""air scrubbers"" to help reduce allergens including dust, mold, and viruses. Quote #1 was... quite high. Then we called Jared at MyGuy for quote #2; we didn't mention anything about the 1st quote!!! He listened & made suggestions... and his quote was nearly $8k less than quote #1! Plus, we felt more trust with his team.
Within 2 weeks we had a completely new heating & air unit. It was installed within 2 days by Alex & Andreas. They were nice, hard working and very competent! Jared came back a couple days later to make minor adjustments to the airflow. Our system is quite quiet and it has evened out the temperatures throughout our home! Makes us wonder why we waited so long?! And the bonus is having an air scrubber... we have noticed a lot less sneezing and stuffy noses. What a blessing!!

I had an issue with my gas wall heater not kicking on this year. I found My Guy online and they offered a good deal on a heater ""tune up."" I called and made an appointment for the service the following week. I was pretty certain that the problem was fairly minor, as the unit was fully functional the previous year. I received a check-in call the day before service to confirm the appointment. On the day of service, Jared my tech, called about 30 mins ahead to confirm again. He showed up and immediately ran a few checks on the heater to verify that the gas and electrical points of contact were all functioning properly. He determined that the issue was actually a connection within the thermostat and had the problem identified and resolved within 15 minutes, if not less. I was glad that it didn't take too long and that Jared knew what he was doing, not to mention his friendly attitude- which was also appreciated!

We've been using My Guy Heating and Air for several years now and highly recommend the maintenance service provided by MG and especially our current technician, Jared. Each technician we had has been professional, knowledgeable and with a can do attitude. During our last service, I mentioned to Jared that our split zone in 2 areas can not operate simultaneously. Jared saw this as a challenge and through his knowledge, expertise and persistence managed to solve the issue that others were not able to correct. We continue to renew our maintenance contract and like the idea that our heating and cooling system is properly maintained and operates efficiently.

I read the reviews, so thought I was safe hiring them to fix our AC in a rental in So Cal as we live in Montana.

Took a few days to come out, but it costs $415 for a starter for the AC. My husband was not home so I was not sure, but I found out this is double what they should cost. When my husband questioned him he mentioned the call took 2 hours. He was there for only 30 minutes. I was very disappointed.

Contacted MG after seeing an ad for their annual maintenance membership and then reading the positive reviews. I got an appointment within just a few days. Jared came out and did a great job on my ancient AC unit which had recently started making a loud buzzing sound. He took the time to educate me about the unit, as well as all my options from maintenance to repair to replacement. He made the costs associated with each extremely transparent, showed me a full spectrum of options and helped me understand my likely return on each type and tier of investment so that I can make informed decisions about my next steps based on my own goals and priorities. I really appreciated Jared's time, communication, and integrity. I decided on some basic repairs as well as the annual maintenance plan and will be coming back to MG with any future business.

I had the good fortune today of having Jared of My Guy Air Heating and Air work on my mini-split A/C system. After unsuccessful attempts by two other companies, Jared had me up and running in under an hour. I can't over-state Jared's skill, knowledge, competence and friendliness, not to mention how quickly he arrived, and the very reasonable cost. My Guy Heating and Air is my new 'go to' for A/C service and repair. Highly recommended!

Can't speak to their plumbing but the drives are downright dangerous. 80mph+ weaving in and out of traffic on the 78 freeway on 3-17-21 at 7:54am. If their regard for safety is any indication of their business, I wouldn't chose to use them.
