Established in 1961. Barnett's was launched as a family business by Harold Barnett with his brother-in-law Dick Parkhurst. In 1964, Dick moved on from the company to relocate to Alaska. Harold dedicated himself to plumbing, heating, and air solutions in newly constructed homes until the 1980s recession impacted the market when his son Bob assumed control and redirected the company’s focus.
