Established in 1961. Barnett's was launched as a family business by Harold Barnett and his brother-in-law Dick Parkhurst. In 1964, Dick departed the company to relocate to Alaska. Harold focused on plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems for new homes until the economic downturn of the 1980s when his son Bob took the reins and redirected the company’s focus.
