Incepted in 1961. Barnett's began as a family-run enterprise by Harold Barnett and his brother-in-law Dick Parkhurst. In 1964, Dick departed the company to relocate to Alaska. Harold dedicated himself to plumbing, heating, and air solutions in newly constructed homes until the 1980s recession impacted the market when his son Bob assumed control and steered the company in a fresh direction.
