Installer for my new kitchen sink faucet did a nice job taking out the old leaky Delta faucet and installing a new Moen. He was competent, on-time and explained things well. Would trust him again as a subcontractor under Lowe's. My only irritant was an unexpected added $250 installation charge for replacing the old faucet line adapters which turned out to be a different size and required new adapters. But overall, good installation job.

Now looking at other reviews I see the same thing has happened to other customers. Here is my original review.

Awful plumber, Tried to charge an extra $300 plus $175 original charge to install a toilet after he removed the old one. After I said no Christian Left oil on my driveway from his car. Dad should be embarrassed.
To Joe Otto ""Dad"", Ask your employee if I said ""handyman"" or ""Licensed plumber"" would do the install. I told him to change the form I signed as he tried to have me sign it before I read it. I have a licensed plumber here now putting in the toilet who just told me there was no issue and the total fee is $150. I also have had a family business for over 20 years. I have to say you have hired irresponsible plumbers and deserve the negative reviews until you do better. I also left the same review on your email. Very suspect to charge a $475 install fee on a $200 toilet! Also, you failed to address the issue of your employee parking in my driveway and leaking oil. I am treating the stain now and will be up in the morning pressure washing my driveway. Merry Christmas!

I didn't pick this company but I ended up with them because of their Lowe's contract. I have a property in California and bought 3 toilets from Lowe's online and also paid for installation. This was for our rental property. Our tenant called me and told me that one of the toilets will not fit from the top because of a ledge that was low and will not allow the lid of the tank to be put on top. So I told my tenant to have the guy call me. I didn't want her to have the installer use her phone for hygienic purposes. I was at home doing work and was waiting for his call so we can discuss the issue and my options. After sometime - I remembered that I haven't spoken with the installer so I called my tenant again. She then said that he left and installed it anyway without my consent. I tried calling him from an appt confirmation text - taking a chance that that was his number. I left a message but he never replied.
Now - I have bought a replacement toilet and Lowe's is charging me again for installation. I was told that I approved the installation of the toilet with issues - THAT IS A LIE! it was mentioned that my tenant signed the job order after installation - of course because there were two other toilets that were installed. This installer should have honored my instructions to give me a call to discuss the issue. I don't think it's my fault that I couldn't be there to talk to him and that it will entail some time from him to make a phone call. I already spent for another toilet and now they are charging me for another install.
If he didn't install it - I could have had the option of returning it unused and would nit have to repay for another installation fee.
What happened was certainly POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not talking to the owner who wanted to talk to you is so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
Lying about me approving the work with known issues is even worse ! AVOID this company.
