Make SURE u read this entire review...I hired Q to finish a ton of jobs to complete a bathroom remodel. He did texturing, priming and painting all in 1 HUMID day and then blamed my HIGH END Sherwin Williams paint when it all began to sluff off. Why the hurry? Because he refuses to quote by hour, only by job, then rushes thru. Had to have ALL walls re-done. Next he had his 12 yr old son grout the floor and then had a foul mouthed meltdown when I pointed out many grout areas had to be re- done due to incomplete fills. Two days later I fired him for taking MY saw out of MY garage w/o permission to use at another customer's house!! He lives 3 doors down from me.

Two days after I fired him my SUV was keyed. His latest trick? Violating Yahoo's and NextDoor's Conflicts of Interest Policies by having Josie, his wife write bogus great reviews on both sites without disclosing she is married to him! FYI, he also advertises and does work he is NOT licensed to do. You will not be covered in case of small or catastrophic damage and will have no legal recourse against him.

Check out Mahal's review. Same temper problems experienced by her apparently. Another reviewer's remarks confirm that he is still using his 12 yr old son on the job, also not covered.

Why am I risking more trouble from him? So others don't make the same mistake hiring him. Q, if you are reading this, my neighbors have been notified and if I find ANYMORE damage of any kind to my property, please note that I will send camera shots to police and they can contact you directly.

Q and his son came out to hang a few items and they did a great job!!! The son even took care of an extra job for me and I'm most THANKFUL. Will be in contact again when I need more work done. Oh yeah, and they worked with my busy schedule, they came on a Sunday.

Q is the Man!!! We were extremely happy with his rates and quality of work. Ended up having him and his partners do a TON of work on the home we just purchased and moved into.

Q came out and did some drywall fixes before we sold our home and work was decent for the sale. He was requested a second time by our Realtor to fix a couple of other minor things. Well my Realtor cancelled the appointment a couple days before, but guess he didn't receive the phone call or text message.

Guess there was a miscommunication, but he showed up anyway and I told him that I didn't know he was scheduled to come this morning, as I just got off work (12hr shift) and he said my Realtor scheduled this appointment with my husband the day he came by to fix the drywall. Realtor mentioned he had a slight attitude at that time because of the way he was talking to my husband. My husband recalls the conversation, but was not there to confirm appointment, but did confirm there was some attitude and mentioned maybe that is how he is.

Then the next thing he says as I am on the phone calling my Realtor is ""do you have the money to pay me"" with ATTITUDE (Rude!) I'm like hold on just a second, Realtor answers and I explain what's going on and she said they called and text him to cancel, but he never responded to the phone call or text, but he claims he never received either. Realtor hung up with me and called him immediately. His phone rings and he snatched his bag and walked away saying something with total attitude.

Just bad vibes and wouldn't recommended. I gave 2 stars because he did decent work the first time and maybe you might get decent work if you use him. Maybe attitude is a hit or miss.

Q replaced my faucet and repaired my microwave. He's a good, honest guy who you can rely on for fair pricing and excellent work. I'll be calling him back in the future for other home repairs.

Emailed for a quote and responds to request. Made appointment with Quetzal for yesterday (Saturday) in the afternoon and we agreed he would text me when he is on his way. Received a text at 12:05pm and says he was available to stop by...then received another text at 12:06pm and says nevermind since he had to attend his kids game... which is fine since I wasnt home. I sent a text at 12:06pm letting him know that I wasnt home but would be home by 1-1:30. Never received a response back. I simple text that he couldnt make it would have been cool. I must have bad luck in yelp looking for a good handyman... time to checkout homedepot.

Solid guy you can trust. I had some plumbing, pressure washed entryway and helped with oven repair (control panel).

I also like he's a local/neighborhood guy. Will keep in the contact list for future work.
