After contacting other handymen and finding out their hrly rate advertised was not what they were actually going to charge, I contacted Q to give me an estimate to do bunch of miscellaneous jobs at our home in the Eastlake area. I liked that he lives in the community as I'd prefer to work with someone local. After he showed up, on time, and gave us an estimate to do the work, he got to work right away and knocked it all out in a short time. I could tell he has been doing this work for a long time as he figured out a couple of items that we had no idea how to fix them. Everything looked perfect, side gate post replaced and gate fixed, TV mounted with wires concealed, ceiling fans replaced, some drywall patches fixed, and a damaged door and door jamb fixed etc. We were amazed how he fixed the door jamb, ""like it never happened"" he said and he was right. We were expecting the whole door to need replacing but he saved us time and money by repairing it like new. I'm glad we ignored negative reviews as we work in the service industry and know some people are never happy no matter what. We are glad we hired him and was happy to pay the amount he quoted us as we knew exactly how much we were going to pay up front instead of someone taking their time to get more money out of the jobs. Simply very rude in answering the phone and trying to gain a new customer. It was very difficult to communicate with the owner. If I do not get good customer service up front, then the expectation on the work product will be highly doubtful.

Q did a great job opening up our living room wall. Very professional. Q was called and he came over right away for a quote. He's quote was extremely Fair. His work was extremely prompt. He arrived on time, he was clean, he was organized and he was extremely efficient. I'll use him again in a heartbeat

Make SURE u read this entire review...I hired Q to finish a ton of jobs to complete a bathroom remodel. He did texturing, priming and painting all in 1 HUMID day and then blamed my HIGH END Sherwin Williams paint when it all began to sluff off. Why the hurry? Because he refuses to quote by hour, only by job, then rushes thru. Had to have ALL walls re-done. Next he had his 12 yr old son grout the floor and then had a foul mouthed meltdown when I pointed out many grout areas had to be re- done due to incomplete fills. Two days later I fired him for taking MY saw out of MY garage w/o permission to use at another customer's house!! He lives 3 doors down from me.

Two days after I fired him my SUV was keyed. His latest trick? Violating Yahoo's and NextDoor's Conflicts of Interest Policies by having Josie, his wife write bogus great reviews on both sites without disclosing she is married to him! FYI, he also advertises and does work he is NOT licensed to do. You will not be covered in case of small or catastrophic damage and will have no legal recourse against him.

Check out Mahal's review. Same temper problems experienced by her apparently. Another reviewer's remarks confirm that he is still using his 12 yr old son on the job, also not covered.

Why am I risking more trouble from him? So others don't make the same mistake hiring him. Q, if you are reading this, my neighbors have been notified and if I find ANYMORE damage of any kind to my property, please note that I will send camera shots to police and they can contact you directly.

Q and his son came out to hang a few items and they did a great job!!! The son even took care of an extra job for me and I'm most THANKFUL. Will be in contact again when I need more work done. Oh yeah, and they worked with my busy schedule, they came on a Sunday.

Q came out and did some drywall fixes before we sold our home and work was decent for the sale. He was requested a second time by our Realtor to fix a couple of other minor things. Well my Realtor cancelled the appointment a couple days before, but guess he didn't receive the phone call or text message.

Guess there was a miscommunication, but he showed up anyway and I told him that I didn't know he was scheduled to come this morning, as I just got off work (12hr shift) and he said my Realtor scheduled this appointment with my husband the day he came by to fix the drywall. Realtor mentioned he had a slight attitude at that time because of the way he was talking to my husband. My husband recalls the conversation, but was not there to confirm appointment, but did confirm there was some attitude and mentioned maybe that is how he is.

Then the next thing he says as I am on the phone calling my Realtor is ""do you have the money to pay me"" with ATTITUDE (Rude!) I'm like hold on just a second, Realtor answers and I explain what's going on and she said they called and text him to cancel, but he never responded to the phone call or text, but he claims he never received either. Realtor hung up with me and called him immediately. His phone rings and he snatched his bag and walked away saying something with total attitude.

Just bad vibes and wouldn't recommended. I gave 2 stars because he did decent work the first time and maybe you might get decent work if you use him. Maybe attitude is a hit or miss.

Q replaced my faucet and repaired my microwave. He's a good, honest guy who you can rely on for fair pricing and excellent work. I'll be calling him back in the future for other home repairs.
