Kade and James were spot on with there work. I highly recommend them

Jacob Wilson was our technician and he was great! Very reliable and helped out a lot. Thank you!!

Multiple instances of incompetence, price gouging, and forgery(?) of my signature. Feel free to contact Mr. Mark McGaughy of Mr. Rooter2-Waco for confirmation of all details, or send a query to www.neighborly.com (the parent/franchisor company).
On Thursday, October 6, I noticed seeping coming from an
exterior, above-ground PVC pipe caused by a horizontal crack at a glued joint. I called Mr. Rooter-Waco who arranged for a visit
the following morning. A plumber arrived as promised.
He gave the line a good shake, and it began to seep more strongly. He
quoted me a price that I thought was grossly excessive for the
replacement of 10 inches of pipe having a PVC adaptor on one end and a
sweated brass-to-copper fitting on the other. Given the
the now worsening situation in which a more serious failure of the pipe
(with no shutoff to the supply except at the meter) could occur at any moment going into a 3-day holiday weekend with a 2-year-old in the house, I
reluctantly agreed to the quoted price, which the plumber stated was "corporate policy" (his words) and could not be negotiated.
2. He next went to Mr. Rooter 2-Waco's office for parts and returned.
It is surprising that such a large plumber's vehicle would not have
the required tools and materials for such a relatively simple, straightforward
repair involving straight, 1/2-inch fittings.
3. The water supply to the house was shut off and he began his work.
He installed a repair, which at this point used a single piece of blue
PVC pipe together with fittings at either end.
4. As soon as the system was pressurized a significant leak occurred
at the glued PVC fitting joint. The plumber informed me that he had
misjudged the type of pipe and thus used the wrong type of glue,
making rework necessary. He would need to cut the newly installed
blue PVC line, add a swedged splice, and then a new fitting with the
correct glue.
5. The plumber returned to his office for a second time for more parts, tools, and materials for the rework.
6. Upon his return he installed the rework with the correct glue. It
should be noted that the swedged splice created an otherwise
unnecessary potential point of failure, made more so by the obvious
misalignment where the two pieces of blue pipe are connected together
in what could have and should have been a straight line. (FYI, I'm a retired licensed aircraft A&P mechanic, inspector, and maintenance instructor)
7. After the rework was nearly completed, a third delay occurred when
the plumber called into his office to have an additional tool brought
to the house, in this case, a swedging device more powerful than the
one he had initially brought with him. The work was completed and the line no longer leaks at the place where the original failure occurred.
8. After more than five hours on the job, on his departure he dropped
a can of PVC glue on the lawn, and because he had failed to screw on
the cap an amount spilled on the lawn, burning a hole in the turf.
9. I was not given a receipt until several days later when I requested one. When the email containing the image of a receipt (trans. Ref# 000100418868) arrived I noted that the "agree to pay" signature at the bottom of the receipt was not mine. Some might ask if this could have been a forgery of my signature. Moreover, might this have been a forgery committed in the course of "interstate commerce" inasmuch as a copy of the questionable receipt was sent from Texas to Utah? Think about it. There's likely not enough involved with this receipt to merit civil or criminal action, but it can be helpful in providing some insight into the company's culture and value system.
10. My request for redress has not been answered.

I highly recommend Mr. Rooter in Waco. Bill Chrisman got to my house within 15 minutes. He located the problem immediately and was very honest and professional.

The multiple 1 star reviews are well deserved. Use ANY other plumbing services in Waco. After refusing to fix faucet they broke - I was accused of trying to "weasel them into making repairs on my home at no cost" (direct quote) even though my ONLY ask was that they fix the one thing the plumber broke. She then proceeded to tell me my house "just had bad plumbing" instead of addressing the issue. Any other company would have resolved this issue at no charge to customer and been a lot nicer about it. I'm getting my plumber's license if I can go around breaking things and then charging the customer to pay me for it, accident or not. To be fair they did give me a discount - now I am only being asked to pay $750 for the spigot that wasn't broken before they came. (a discount from $1,850). Two other plumbers came out and quoted me $250 to fix the spigot Mr. Rooter of Waco broke and refused to fix.

This was the saddest and most horrific experience I have ever had with a company. I would NEVER recommend Mr. Rooter Waco for anything at all. The "short" version of my review is 1) Complete Lack of Communication from the company (never knew who was coming or when, rarely got calls about things), 2) CompletelyOpposite Information given by employees from the same office (which means someone either provided an answer without actually knowing a true one or someone had to be lying... either of which is a problem), 3) Lack of Concern/Responsibility since there was actual damage done to my property (they refuse any responsibility for any damage for any reason while they work), 4) Obvious Lies (were told on 1/31 about specific days when restoration people would be out to check out the flooring damage and the Franchise Owner would be out to view and discuss the flooring damage situation, neither of which has occurred as of 2/28), and 5) Attitude (the only thing they demanded was the final payment of the $30,000+ they charged for such horrific work).
If you want full details of what occurred, you can read my extensive review on my blog at https://wanderingwaco.blogspot.com/2022/02/mr-rooter-waco-review.html.
This was incredibly poor. Clearly they have absolutely no concern for their clients (even those paying high dollar) and simply move on upon receipt of their demanded final payment (which we paid before the restoration people and Franchise Owner made it out... which they clearly did not... since Mr. Rooter Waco already had their payment).
So... perhaps the excellent reviews they have on their site are from jobs that are extremely basic (new wax ring, minor leak, etc.)? Oh... and I have been told they will not post any negative reviews to their site. Clearly they are not fully able to handle major issues... nor do they appear to care. I urge you to look for reviews on other sites they cannot remove negative reviews from before considering them.

$75 for technician comes to check why the drain backups at laundry room. He couldn't check it by the camera due to the drainage is too small. He said he would run the snake to see what happen. I didn't hear how much is the charge for, thought it was the work to figure out what is wrong. If he doesn't run the snake, it means I have to pay $75 for nothing due to camera can't go through?
After an hr for running the snake but can't know what is wrong, called the manager to ask, then running the snake again. Finally, he said $198 for running the snake and let me know the pipe was broken, need to replace. After he left, I tried the washer, water backups worse than before he runs the snake, called back the office and she explained because the pipe was broken, we can't cleanup. My doubt is the pipe was broken before or because of the running snake? I can't have the proof through the camera to see the pipe, just knew I have to pay $198 for service fee, didn't fix and the issue was worse than before.
And then, I figure out my kitchen drain starts to have backup. I didn't know what they did but the issue get worse than before a lot. I contacted them again, no reply back until I had to call again and they said they can't do anything else.
If you can't figure out the issue, and didnt fix any after running the snake, you shouldn't charge $198 for that service, instead of $75 for coming to see and let me know what wrong. It is how you build the businees.

This "business" is a joke. The dispatch girl is highly unprofessional, interrupting, and rude, making only excuses and no solutions. I've had the same pipe exposed for two weeks that I was told by the Plumber would be inspected and completed in three days, following his work (work paid for $2K). When I finally called after two weeks (granted, they said three days- I gave a pretty generous grace period) about the solution or update, all I get is a very rude "other people have water problems too." Well, "dispatch girl," stop taking calls for work you cannot complete, or take the time to do your job and call your paid clients and give them an update with realistic timelines and solutions. Bottom line two weeks without an update or completion on a paid job that should have been done in three days is unacceptable and just bad business.

My shower and toilet started to overflow with sewage during the crazy winter weather in mid-February. I called Mr. Rooter to schedule a plumber and they told me they had me scheduled the next day between 10 am and 12 pm. I call them the morning that they were supposed to show up and they tell me that I wasn't scheduled at all. That I never called them when I know I had and my phone log confirmed it. And then on top of it the customer service lady was extremely rude even thought I was desperate and in tears. When I tried looking for someone else no plumbers were available until the following week to two weeks out. I'm beyond livid. I could have been looking for a different plumber if they told me they weren't available. Instead I wasted my time and my bathroom is still full of sewage. I wish I could give them zero stars. Scum of the Earth. I'm never using them again and advise you not to. They're unprofessional and unreliable.

I would not recommend using Mr. Rooter for plumbing issues. They were hired to repair the entire main sewer line running under the slab costing over $28,000, yes, $28,000. The repair had to be re-done within 12 months due to breakage which they claimed was due to subcontractor fault. As the home I don't whose fault it was. Rooter did honor the 12 month warranty but a re-do of such a major repair is questionable. If the damage had been two months later I would have had to pony another $28K ???? A year later, in another home, plumbing system had a persistent vibration (not hammering) problem and after consults with several plumbers went to Rooter and ended up with an install of an expansion tank for the water heater. Vibration seemed to go away for a short period (couple weeks) and it returned for nearly half a year before it disappeared without further maintenance and then came back again. It seems installing the tank was a band-aid pluck and chuck costing $430. During 2020 holiday period couldn't get a local plumber for a stopped up kitchen sink so hired Rooter again. - Mistake - They cabled the kitchen sewer line and looked at the clean out trap and charged $329. It appeared the problem was solved. Six days later same backup in kitchen reappeared and when Rooter office was called they said the line clearing wasn't warrantied. I got a local plumber who cabled from vent pipe for $90 and in 15 minutes the problem cleared. What kind of plumber CO doesn't warranty line clearing that they charged $329 and didn't fix the problem in less than a week!. Plumbing issues come a the most inopportune times so home owners sometime have to hire COs that they don't have full confidence. I've had it with Rooter after this go round.
