Cesar Lopez did a great job putting in our new toilet. Very professional and knowledgeable. And the price was very fair . We have used them twice and have been very happy both times.

Well I called Mr.Rooter for a camera inspection. James Gustafson and Elton Cross came within an hour of my calling. They did an excellent job and explained things for me to easily understand. I saw on the monitor, the condition of my house's pipes. I agreed something had to be done. I received an estimate for the work needed to be done. That's all I needed from them. Thank you Mr.Rooter!

If Mr. Rooter ever runs a camera down your pipes and tells you that you need expensive pipe repairs, do yourself a favor and obtain a second opinion. After showing up late, then starting to unclog the drain before giving me a cost estimate and obtaining my approval, I was told they could camera scope my pipes for slightly additional cost.
After scoping they told me I had broken pipes and required $10,0000 - $20,000 worth of repairs where they feed new pipes through my existing ones using some fancy technique. They said there were two breaks including one under the house were a pit of sewage was growing and eroding.
I was dubious, so I paid $250 to have another plumber send a camera down for a second opinion. Guess what - Pipes look great with no breaks. The funny thing is, there's a YouTube video done by a Mr. Rooter guy in some other state describing how ""other plumbers"" run a scam like this and to be careful!
This issues is on top of the other issues I had trying to reach someone at Mr. Rooter to pay my bill and issues with the technician.

BEWARE of MR. Rooter!
I called Mr Rooter because the kitchen sink was backed up and they were advertising $79 to clear a drain. The appointment was between 1 and 3, their technician arrived at 8:30. As soon as this guy walked in the door without even looking at the sink he tells me its going to be $278. I told him I called and told them I want the $79 drain clean. He goes oh the coupon. He messed around for 2 hours and the drain still wasn't clear! He was using a snake with just a spring on the end nothing to grab what was plugging the sink. He said he would be back the next day and of course never showed up after he got his $79 for not clearing the drain. A different company was called and that young man had the drain cleared in a short amount of time. This young man also explained that the spring should of had a claw attached that could grip whatever was causing the plug.
I guess the Mr Rooter guy figured I'm an older lady and wouldn't notice the difference. Mr Rooter has no integrity and they are very dishonest.

The water pressure in my house went down to almost a dribble, so I had bought a replacement pressure regulator myself from a local plumbing supply store near my house, but I couldn't get it off myself. I was able to get 2 quotes from a couple other companies, but neither could get to me until Saturday and the other after Christmas. I called Mr Rooter and they had someone out here within a couple hours, however they quoted me 400 dollars to replace a regulator that I already had as the other 2 quoted me only 125 to install it as long as they used my part. Since I couldn't go an entire week without water in my house, I felt I had no other choice but to pay 3 times what it would have cost me going with someone else. The Tech was friendly and prompt, but I had to help him hold the pipes and let him use my own tools and a shop rag which he didn't have... after paying him the 400 dollars in cash, he hands me back a hundred and said merry Christmas and that his boss let him change the price to 300 hundred instead. It didn't feel like a Christmas present to me at all, I felt like I got ripped off and taken advantage of due to my situation. The next time I have a plumbing problem that can wait, I'll go with someone else.

Trisha Miller Within the last 4 years I have spent approximately $33,000 with Mr. Rooter, and now 2 drains (1 in the kitchen, 1 in the bathroom) are slow draining. I was told if I had problems with the drains slowing that it would be covered under warranty for I believe 5 years. Instead of coming in and fixing the problem, all Mr. Rooter does is look for reasons why the problem should not be covered under warranty. The technician (who was ill-experienced) had to call in the troupes, and a couple hours later, 3 Mr. Rooter vans had converged in front of my house. They then said, look we will go ahead and fix it for free, here sign this...it just says you authorize us to fix it, and left without fixing a thing. Turns out what I was signing was not an authorization that I signed...it was a trick! Nothing, but con games with this company. They would rather fight over something they said would cost me $120 for one drain, and waste at least that much in man hours fighting with me. Nothing like stepping over a dollar to pick up a penny. The first time when they did massive work on my home they did not barricade the area and had to go through brick to fix the plumbing. The incredible amount of dust inside the air in my home from the job landed me in the hospital over Thanksgiving. The following year a broken pipe in my yard ended up costing $4000. After the amount of money I have spent with Mr. Rooter, I would think they would treat their customers better (especially one who has shelled out such an incredible amount of money), and honor their warranty! Not only that the first young man who arrived on the job yesterday, when I asked where he went to school, he told me where he graduated high school. He forgot to put his bin under the open pipe under my sink and turned on the water, then used my paper towels to soak up the water. He left while waiting for his overseer to arrive to have lunch, leaving everything that was under the sink on my kitchen floor, swearing he would clean it up when he returned. Wrong. I ended up having the clean up the mess myself! Great...charging outrageous amounts for plumbers who are still wet behind the ears with no schooling or formal training, who spent more time getting guidance on the phone than he did working on the plumbing! Ridiculous and very unprofessional!! 85745

My shower stopped draining and I worked 2 days to get it unplugged. I called Mr. Rooter on Sunday around 2:30pm and James showed up a couple hours later. He was very professional and explained everything very clearly. Price was reasonable and James had the problem fixed within an hour. I was impressed with the entire experience and would use them again. Another side note there was no extra charge for Sunday service.

My son recently had plumbing drainage problems, decided on Mr Rooter Plumbing. Paul ,the technician , did a video camera inspection that showed rusted, corroded drain pipes.
Before the construction, Paul explained to me and my son that it will take 10 to12 days to complete the job.It will involve removal and replacement of drains/pipes,bathtub, cutting through the walls and use of jackhammer on concrete floors. Paul also assisted my son with the necessary paperwork, provided pictures to the insurance company and always available to answer our questions.
During the construction, David and 2 other technicians were polite, courteous and trustworthy. They also tried to keep the house as clean as possible.
Now that the job is complete,(and they did a great job !),we will never forget the exceptional professionalism and kindness extended to us by Paul, David ,Marty and all who helped ----so we can have our bathrooms back.We thank you.

OK. So all the single women of the world. BEWARE!
I hate to bore you w the details
So I'm gonna nutshell it
Had a pretty simple fix it turned out
Like diy simple and 307.46$
Is what I was quoted.
Ended up paying 129$
But to me, we'll I'm kicking myself Cuz the ""tech"" tightened the part (I bought) and the part (I installed) and stood up and said all done!
Really....
So be warned

After speaking with the store manager who reviewed the estimate I was given and the work actually done I received a refund of about 1/3 of my money. Still a high price but the work was done well and the manager was fair and reasonable.
